Player(s) being reported: Nicholas Donovan ID 46
Date of interaction reported: 8/25
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1566747699

Your characters name: Carl Thisthon

Other player(s) involved: Almost all of DOC, Samuel Colonna, Darion Rueb, and more.

Specific rule(s) broken:

NON ROLEPLAY

Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof.

How did the player break the rule(s)? Player just decided to disconnect after getting caught from trying to escape DOC. He claimed he evaded long enough to log out, but we never even processed him or did he have admin privs to even get out of jail. We probably spent a couple hours roleplaying it from chase to processing only for the conclusion for many involved people to be someone just logging off. If I had the footage I could show multiple more instances of breaking fearrp, nonrp (tazed 3 times in a row, cuffed and still bolting.) But this is more about the logging which ruined a lot of peoples RP. We waited the 15 minues and decided it wasn't fair to everyone so that's what lead me to make this report.

Evidence of rule breach:

Here is a video of us killing time to call it quits, wasting even more time.

The worst thing, is after all this, he just left DOC after the server restarted (used the teleport thingy) and didn't turn himself in or tell anyone about it so I basically saw him around Los Santos (looks like he was with another admin, involved in another situation) acting like nothing ever happened, just like he did a good thing and he actually outsmarted us.

I also want to report him for stalling RP. In the first place, before he was transported to DOC, I was typing the RP to cuff him. Meanwhile, he was gun-pointed by another officer. As soon as the other officer brought up his taser, he took off. After a while, we caught him again and while he was tased by me, he told me to put my hands up (Exactly 2 seconds after I tased him). His partner also stalled RP few times. When we arrived at the prison, we found out that (46) is missing. We parked our cruiser (which was locked) and went to search for the other guy. We shortly found him in one of the towers and brought him back to the interior of prison. Meanwhile, his partner opened a cruiser which was locked (While being in cuffs) and ran away. We again went to search for the other guy and brought him back. This time, 46 again escaped while the officer who was processing him was writing RP's. 10 people were searching for him for roughly 1 hour. He was asking one of the officers whether he has the permission to log off. However, we did not give permission because it was an on-going roleplay. As soon as he was found, he left and did not come back for resuming RP.

Hello, ID 46 Nicholas Donovan here

I'd like to start off with this that i didnt actually log off when you came it was the afk timer that kicked me, I left my house being pretty sure you guys wouldn't find me and i didn't log off initally cause i wasn't sure if it was 15 minutes yet so i would be able to log off.

In a situation where a player gets away from an incident where they're being chased/pursued, they must wait 15 minutes before they can logout.

It is still my fault for leaving my pc on staying in game not informing you that i am going out my house and leaving the PC running inside the game.

I'd like to apologize for this and I didn't know your name when i did comeback home to message you to ask if you can /prison me that is the reason why i didnt do that.

Heres the screenshot of when i did comeback home i saw this.

I truly apologize for this and i don't really have much else to say.

PLAYER REPORT ACCEPTED

Thank you for your patience while this report was under review.

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following players:

  • Nicholas_Donovan [ID #46] - Non-RP - Offense #3 - Combatlogging/AFK during an active RP scenario. I think it's pretty clear what went wrong here, you even admitted to it. When you need to leave your house, please inform the other parties and/or don't even get yourself involved in such scenarios if you know you don't have time to play it out all the way.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.

Regards,
