13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

• Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

• When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range.

• When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger.

• Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover.

• Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are in a car which engine is not stalled.

• When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked.

• When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you.

• As a victim, whose life is in direct danger:

• You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker.

• You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

I was hiding in a bush waiting for one guy to come but instead another comes with a car stops near me and gets out of the car i aim a gun at him,but  he procceds to take out his gun and run away from me behind the car and start shooting me.

Listen, As soon as I pulled up and got out of my vehicle I didnt have any view of this man behind two bushes. I had Pulled my weapon out as soon as i exited my vehicle. He started yelling hands up as my weapon has already been drawn. Is this not an animation delay? I Had my gun pointed in the direction I heard the voice, as soon as he started shooting it turned into a firefight.

are you blind? you had the animation of taking out your weapon but not having it already out and ready to be used.

as stated above my life is not in direct danger because your clearly hidden behind a bush. I can’t see where your at or that there’s a gun drawn back. I don’t shoot until shots have been fired. As you can tell I retaliate after shots have been fired because I Need to reposition and find where you are shooting from

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following players: Nile_Kenyo [ID 31] - Non-RP #1 | Fear RP (Warning) - I understand and appreciate your argument about your view being obstructed due to the bush meaning you had grounds for arguing that you could take your weapon out but the reason for this warning is that you saw the reporting party in clear sight facing him head-on with a gun aimed at you shouting demands you decided to turn your back to him not valuing your life and running to a better position to fight back.
