Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason. Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. • If they report you to the police for a serious crime. • If they are not in compliance with demands, attempt to escape, or call other players for help in a situation where they are required to display fear under fear roleplay rules. A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands. A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands. If a player informs you that your VOIP isn’t working, you must either fix your VOIP using appropriate commands or use text to deliver your demand(s). Vehicles cannot be used to attack another player more than once including a failed attempt. Attacking another player with no engagement in roleplay is not allowed. Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of: Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.) Someone is attempting to take your life. Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen. You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason. How did the player break the rule(s)? I was standing on the pavement in Paleto bay when a person on a bike suddenly stopped near me and started to say something over the voice chat, but I did not hear what exactly, so I am assuming he was shouting his demands. Considering that he was giving me demands before even pulling out the gun or aiming at me I was not obliged to follow them under FearRP rule, so I started to run at what point he opened fire at me. Me running away would give him a valid reason only if I would have been under the FearRP rule which I was not due to the fact that there was no weapon aimed at me at the moment of me starting to flee the scene. Even in your evidence we can see you run for a little bit and take your gun out it shows that you knew that I’m about to rob you. Also how could I knew that you couldn’t hear anything ? You just started to do ten toes . So instantly I thought that you done it on purpose. And maybe you might faked the video because some of the sound is muted. Also I don’t have my own evidence but in your pov we can clearly see that your camare is facing another side. But i pointed gun at you. Of course I knew what you were about to do, Im reporting your straight away shooting when you had no valid reason for that. You're saying that you already had your gun out, can you please upload your POV footage? As you can see in my POV, you had no gun out when demands were given, so I did not have to follow your demands and had my rights to flee behind the corner, where I tried to pull out the weapon to protect myself. And i mean I couldn’t know that the person didn’t hear anything from my side. Because when I jumped from my bike and aimed the gun at him and gave him demands he began to run away from me. Automatically I opened fire on him because I thought he is trying to escape from me. MrSilky hello I asked professional video editor about this muted video. After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following players: Barisow_Magadan - Deathmatching #2 - You are being issued this punishment as the reporting party was not under Fear RP when he ran therefore you had no reason to open fire on him. Furthermore, regardless of VOIP working, you did not really give enough time to comply with demands. In the eyes of the reporter, he had no demands to comply with thus was not under Fear RP meaning you cannot shoot him for failing to comply since demands were not given successfully given in a Fear RP setting. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
