smutty
Player(s) being reported: ID26 Date of interaction reported: 22/AUG/2019 Unix time stamp from HUD: 163|1566513825 Your characters name: Blake Connor Other player(s) involved: None Specific rule(s) broken: 11. No Crime Zones (NCZ) A no crime zone is an area where players may not commit any actions considered crimes. Players must not disobey orders of law enforcement officers but are allowed to flee. The /NCZ command and HUD notification are indicators of being in a protected area although it is up to administrator discretion if your actions are in violation of NCZ rules. If a player uses the NCZ for protection the attacker must wait for that player to leave the area. Players may not go to a NCZ after engaging in criminal activity resulting in an ongoing chase. NO CRIME ZONES: • “Tequil La La” club, “Yellow Jack Inn” bar, and the block around them. • All government offices, law enforcement offices, hospitals, banks, and the blocks around them. • Los Santos Airport, Bus Depot, Department of Motor Vehicles, and the block around them. 13. Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range. • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger. • Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover. Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger: • When you are in a car which engine is not stalled. • When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked. • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you. As a victim, whose life is in direct danger: • You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker. • You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you. How did the player break the rule(s)? I was standing outside the bank and ID26 kicked the back of the police car (which caused heavy damage to it) then proceeded to run off. I caught up to him when he entered a car and the driver didn't leave. He initially followed my instructions to exit the car and raise his hands while I had a taser aimed at him. I began typing to RP cuffing him and he took off running again. I sent him a PM telling him I was going to make this report at that time and he didn't return. Dqniel
Hello, and thank you for making this player report! @smutty Player Martin_Jenkins | @Elt0bar | will receive 24 hours to provide his side of the story and explain the reasoning for his actions which can be seen in the provided evidence above. Why did you kick the vehicle of the reporting party for seemingly no valid reason all while being in a No Crime Zone? In addition to being tagged on the forums, the reported party will be notified of this report in-game. Kind regards, Dqniel
Dqniel
Hello, and thank you for remaining patient! As more than enough time has passed for the reported party to respond with his side of the story and explain the reasoning for his actions i have decided to conclude this report based on the provided evidence and statement given to us by the reporting party. Player Martin_Jenkins will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for breaching the No Crime Zone rules | Offense #4. Player Martin_Jenkins was not in violation of the fear roleplay rules, and will therefore not receive any punishment(s) for that. First and foremost, i would like to address the punishment of Non-Roleplay and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that you damage the property of the reporting party by kicking it at, before ultimately running away. The issue that arises with this situation is that your actions are not in accordance with our No Crime Zone rules. By damaging the property of another person - a law enforcement officer at that, you are commiting a crime all while being situated in a No Crime Zone. As the name suggests and as is outlined in our rulebook, no actions that even come close to being classified as a crime may be done while you are in a No Crime Zone, therefore you are in violation of our rules. Please take this punishment as an opportunity to reflect on your actions, and making sure that moving forward you do so in a way where this is not repeated. Furthermore, i would like to state the following. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that you damage the property of the reporting party all for seemingly no valid reason (as you have not responded and there is nothing in the provided evidence to suggest otherwise). The act of attacking a player and or their property without a proper roleplay reason falls under Deathmatch. There was absolutely no reason for you to damage his property other than attempt to incite a chase, which in itself would fall under non-roleplay as cop baiting as well. Consistently poor roleplay is being displayed by you during this situation, however considering the fact that you have had no deathmatch punishment(s) to this date, or any recent punishments for that matter i will instead urge you to revisit our rules surrounding deathmatch and non-roleplay, and taking the information that you have been taught here for future reference. Secondly, i would like to address the lack of punishment for the supposed breach of fear roleplay. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that the reporting party approaches Martin_Jenkins while simultaneously aiming a taser at him. In turn, Martin_Jenkins initially complies with the demands before ultimately running away. After extensively reviewing the provided evidence and discussing it with multiple other members of the staff team, i have concluded that there are no rule breaches relating to fear roleplay in this report. Pointing a non-lethal weapon should not incite the reporting party to roleplay fear under the fear roleplay rules, as his life is not in direct danger. In the context of this video, the player did not have to display fear. Thank you for making this report! @smutty Report is accepted and archived. Kind regards, Dqniel.
