Metagaming (MG) Metagaming is the act of relaying IC information through any method not considered IC that has the potential to change current or future roleplay scenarios or using that information. Mixing IC and OOC information without any benefit is a minor MG offense. For example, a player uses IC chat to call someone by their player ID displayed above their head. 11. Powergaming (PG) Forceful roleplay that does not give the other player a chance to roleplay their own response is considered powergaming. Other players must be given a chance to roleplay outcomes of actions. Roleplay of unrealistic actions like super strength is another form of powergaming. All statements in /DO must be factually true in the roleplay as it sets grounds for roleplay. Roleplay is required before forceful server commands which may be used without consent from the other party if they are unresponsive and not typing for 30 seconds or more. A player cannot use the faction management script to destroy a faction as it is OOC. Government funded faction members must not abuse the salary system and must go off-duty when they are not performing their faction duties. If you perform an action which will influence potential RP in the future, you must have OOC evidence of performing said RP. OOC evidence should consist of a recording or screenshot and it needs to be timestamped (/time). RP would only be valid for 48 hours or until your character dies and NLR is triggered. The time limit does not apply to rule 7. How did the player break the rule(s)? hello and thank you for taking a time to read this report i would to start like from first. We went to chopshop and saw old friends and we was talking in chopshop and we saw one of the traids gang member showed up in chopshop and we decide to rob him because we are in the war with them and also you can see in the video when i told him hands up he changed radiofreq without any rp. rakim Posted August 15, 2019 Report Share Posted August 15, 2019 ID 127 here. I told ID 80 to come pick me up on radio. I told him location and where about where it was at. Secondly, the radiofreq change I didn't mean to change the freq. I was trying to Crtl + 1 to put my hands up but I mistakenly hit shift + 1 which is a bind freq that changes the freq when you press shift + 1. It was an honest mistake. As Id 127 stated above he had made a radio call for me to come pick him up from the chop shop which parts of that radio call can be heard from 0:22. Saying " I do not need a ride, yo Brian come pick me up from chop". As for the Deathmatch on your video you can clearly hear me shouting demands at you guys. Unfortunately your camera angle doesn't capture it but I was pointing an AK at the driver for an extended period of time. If it was the Shift + 2 it could of been me panicking to put my hands up because I could of mistakenly press the wrong button when not looking at my keyboard. If you don't believe me it's fine. After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I have decided to deny this report for the following reason(s): @rakim I will give Rakim the benefit of the doubt regarding him changing his frequency. I have posted a warning on your admin logs which will show other staff members this has been brought up before. May this happen again, we will not consider it accidental. Also, this could've been easily fixed if it was accidental, by telling him in /b and changing your frequency back as stated by you above. Also, there is no evidence of metagaming, @rakim can be heard making a radio call in the video at around 00:20 @Sahandbagheri will receive a punishment for his actions over Discord. This will cause him to receive Metagaming Offense #2. Players must report cases of ban evasion, falsified forum reports, discussion of or jokes about cyber-attacks and other rule breaches. An attempt to hide such information is punishable. In a way, you're trying to bribe the reported party by asking him for 100k in-game money to cancel the report. We do not tolerate such behavior. This will be considered Metagaming and could potentially be seen as a form of RWT. This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period.
