Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported: ID 58
Date of interaction reported: 15/06/19
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1560570416 and 1560570888

Your characters name: Skye Luna

Other player(s) involved: Jordan Basco (76) and Earnie Shavers (123)

Specific rule(s) broken:

Non-Roleplay (NRP)

  • Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.

  • Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay:

• Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason.

• Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching).

• Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles.

• Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water.

• Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase.

  • Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof.

  • In a situation where a player’s game crashes or the player is kicked from the server, they should be allowed to have the same advantages as they have had before their leave.

Fear Roleplay (FRP)

  • Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life.

  • Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

• When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range.

• When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger.

• Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover.

  • Examples (but not limited to), where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are in a car which engine is not stalled.

• When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked.

• When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you.

  • As a victim, whose life is in direct danger:

• You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker.

• You cannot call 911 or call your friends or allies to aid you.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

Myself and my cadet were on a general patrol and respond to a store robbery call, upon arriving we can see about 5 or so suspects wearing orange inside the store robbing it. Upon having a bit of a shootout with them, they run out the store and I chase after one of them (ID 58), he goes to a dead end and has his gun lowered, I aim my shotgun literally point blank from him and shout "Hands" and he just run straight past me, literally touching my gun and continues like it never happened, screaming over his radio for backup, therefor breaking Fear RP the first time (after he runs again, I catch a different person and yell "hands" and "on your knees" and they heard me and complied so my microphone was definitely working) then maybe 10 mins later as we are finishing up the scene and have 2 of them in cuffs, ID 58 and his friends pull up, ID 58 gets out his friend's car and runs to his car which was left at the scene and gets in it while another officer is literally aiming a shotgun at him again point blank almost and telling him "hands up" and "dont get in the car" then he just drives away. Approaching the scene with armed officers, running straight into the middle of the scene to grab his car back is none rp in my opinion and also Fear RP because he got in the car and drove it away while having a shotgun pointed at him.

Evidence of rule breach:

First video where he is running and aim shotgun point blank contains staff chat/reports and will need to be sent privately to handling staff.

Second video for when they come back 10 mins later for the car: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2awkMgzC0k

I believe I am ID 58 in your report.  I am trying to follow your report but it doesn't make sense.  Yes there were 5 of us robbing the store and yes we ended up getting into a shootout with you while we were in the store and you were outside.  We then made the decision to risk running to our cars because we knew backup would be coming, for all you know we are running to get a different angle to shoot at your from, taking the risk of getting shot and injured in the process.  Then the next part you say makes no sense. "they run out the store and I chase after one of them (ID 58), he goes to a dead end and has his gun lowered, I aim my shotgun literally point blank from him and shout "Hands" and he just run straight past me, literally touching my gun and continues like it never happened, screaming over his radio for backup, therefor breaking Fear RP the first time"  You make it sound like we were in a foot chase and you pinned me down in an dead end alley way and I run straight past you.  Not sure what dead end you are talking about because there inst one around that store, secondly the sentence contradicts itself, how would I run to a dead end  but then run straight past you?  You should watch your recording again because what did happen is we all left store running in different directions you killed one of our guys with a shotgun coming out of the store.  At that time I ran around the left of the store down to the beach and hid until one of our gang members picked me up.  I then called over radio for people to drive back and forth along the crime scene as a distraction with there orange cars, i figured guns could be out so I wanted it to be unknown when my car would actually pull in rather then drive by.   I told my driver (who was driving a brawler) to quickly backup to the driver side door of my car to block a path between me and you, I then hoped in my car (already unlocked) and got out before you were quick enough to pull trigger at anything but my back tail light.  The first Fear RP accusation coming out of the store is nonsense and you discredit yourself with the dead end claim on that one.  Why I feel the second Fear RP accusation is invalid is due to:

  • Our gang cars driving up and down past the crime scene causing a distraction.
  • Using a big bulky brawler for cover
  • Blocking the path between myself and you with the brawler
  • Backing in next to my driver side allowing me with one step to open my already unlocked car, hop in and drive off

After looking at the footage again closely, I can see it was not dead end, apologies, still makes no difference however. This was when you were running on the beach and went up the steps to the side of the house that led back onto the main road (looked like a dead end at first), you stopped and I aimed my shotgun at you point blank and shouted "hands". You turned towards me and ran past me back down the steps, the same way you came and jumped over the fence back onto the beach and you shouted down your radio.

Also the second time, the blawler did not block anyone, it was stopped in the middle of the road and did not block anything as I myself was in front of it, however as I mentioned, it was a different officer who was literally stood next to your car and pulled a shotgun on you BEFORE you even got to the door.

Both incidents can be seen on the video evidence, unfortunately I cannot show you since we have regulations on showing evidence with reports/staff chat in the text area. However, I can show you some screenshots that do not include the text where I aim a shotgun at you and shout "hands" about 3 times before you run past me.

Also another quick update, the second video of the second fear rp and none rp offense, it does not include any staff related text so here is the link:

Please note, there is another video that does include staff related text for the first offense shown in the screenshots above which I will send privately.

Hello and thanks for all the parties that have responded.

@AbideRules I appreciate your honesty, however rule break is a rule break. The officer had about 3-4 seconds to just shoot you at a close range with shotgun, which you ignored and just ran past like there's no one there, which in my eyes breaks Fear RP.

From the picture attached you can clearly see that the Brawler wasn't used for cover or to block the path between you and the officer, leaving him a clear shot on you. I also find it highly unrealistically to roll up to an active crime scene and just steal a car from there.

Therefore player ID 58 Dewey_Lewis will be receiving Non RP | Offence #1 & #2 | Fear RP & Non RP.

Now if you avoid any kind of similar situations in the future you'll be more than fine even with these two punishments.

Regards,

faiN.
