How did the player break the rule(s)?

 

I drove down the beach and a blue bike started following me. I went back to HE, and he continued to follow. I also want to be clear that there was NO prior RP or contact of any kind with these guys. I RP a civilian, and there is no chance any prior engagement with any of these players would spark this. This was a 100% unprovoked attack from the start.

 

No RP reason for any of this was presented. They simply saw me and decided to chase me down to ram or trap me and rob me. 

The first ramming was done by ID46, as I tried to get out of HE, he rammed the side of the car. (Video time: 0:37)

I then went around the corner of a road to get away from HE, and the motorcycle (ID 8 hit me from behind throwing the back end out and causing me to crash. (Video time:  0:49)

ID 46 then drives down into me, barely missing me clearly attempting to make sure I can’t get away.

@Purm (ID 46 - Jonathan_Purmineli) Why did you try to ram her gently to stop her at High End without issuing and demands or orders?

@Hootless (ID 8 - Liam_Gunarr) Why did you hit her vehicle with your bike sending her spinning out into a trap?

Each have 24 hours to provide their version of events and perspectives as this could very well be desync (especially for the bike).

Regardless of desynch, It is clear they started a chase with the intention of causing me to crash or run off the road. Or cause me to hit them to create a reason to then run me down.

They intended to cause harm to me and/or the vehicle, with the sole intent of taking my valuables and property. It is almost impossible for any other outcome to occur. They would have chased and harassed me all the way through Los Santos until the result was them robbing, and my car taken.

I am sure they will cry desynch, it will be ruled no rule break, and they will continue with their poor RP with zero respect for the players they do this to, and zero chance for those players to effect the outcome.

I appreciate your concerns but we have to be fair on all avenues. It will not be ruled as desync unless they provide video evidence of them not touching you.

I just want to say I wasn't intentionally trying to ram her.. if I was trying to ram her I wouldn't have been going 5km... and I block her in because at this point we are robbing her. I have video from my behalf aswell If you want me to upload it.

I just want to add her FEAR RP was very poor didn't say a word ICLY AT ALL when we got her out of the car went straight to /b the entire time telling us we are shit rpers etc.

I was also part of this situation, just as purm said at :33 you can see her brake check the bike, causing it to hit her vehicle. As well as the bikes desyncing and hitting her at the end, the speeds the bikes were going, if they rammed her head on like that on a drag, that's an instant face plant off of the bike. I don't think anyone is incompetent enough to try to ram a vehicle with a bike going any speeds, much less high speeds lol and during the entire situation, she didn't RP one bit and remained quiet through the entire ordeal, which if I recall, I got a warning for doing once before. Also please explain to me why you accelerated your vehicle at :52 and smashed into the wall? You had every opportunity to hit reverse and get out, yet you intentionally accel'd your vehicle and smashed into the wall. I ask anyone who's watching that video to replay :51 a few times.

As for the lack of RP, I got out of the vehicle as asked, I unlocked the vehicle as asked, I accepted the frisk as asked, I took a knee as asked (after struggling with the command).

I had nothing to say, the 5-6 of you were talking plenty, and I was just trying to get the commands in. I don't use VOIP, but trust me I was typing the whole time to try and execute your commands.

I did everything you asked of me once you ran me off the road. Ridiculous to claim a FearRP violation. I can cut a video of me failing to do commands If necessary.

I'm aware you didn't initiate the situation and you did comply with demands. When I said you didn't RP is when people were talking to you and asking you questions, you remained 100% quiet and only spoke in /b. That's not my issue though. My issue is the fact that you claimed someone VDM'd you when it clearly wasn't intentional. If it was an intention, that huge truck would have sent you flying a long time ago but when he tapped you as you were leaving HE, he clearly slowed down, came to a stop and turned to chase. The bikes "Ramming" you is by all means crazy. I've seen bikes send people flying yards through desync alone and I've also seen them tap a pole going 20 MPH and the driver flies off and gets injured. The point is, bikes are extremely buggy, everyone knows this and I assume even you. I simply feel like this report is just you being upset and finding a reason to report, rather than play the situation out. 

I get it, being robbed is frustrating, especially when you're a civilian, based on the context of your video title. I want to point out that criminals rob civilians, this type of thing happens on a daily and while I personally do not agree with doing so in broad daylight, it does happen. This is an issue that we'll be working on when it comes to RP quality but that's neither here, nor there. I do not agree with this report, nor do I think we broke any rules (Especially intentionally), but I will personally refund whatever you lost. Find me icly and I will do so but if you want to continue forward with the report, you can do that as well, or hell you can do both.

I would like to say that i didn't hit her car intentionally if i even hit it at all i did not record on my end. She was clearly out of control as soon as she made that turn and i must say i was following closely i intended to stay on her tail and nothing more. As you can see the surano is a fast car and i did not expect her to slow down so drastically to where i would hit her car i just intended on keeping up and maintaining vision so she didn't get away. Ramming with a bike is extremely ludicrous and carry's many dangers, I feel that me hitting her car with my bike was desync as i would have most likely flown of my bike and landed 15 feet in front of my bike. I also believe it is extremely debate-able that my bike hitting her in her pov caused he to go "off course" you can clearly see at the time of impact that she was already in the wrong lane of travel headed off the road in one of her screenshots. I will state this once again I believe me hitting her was desync but i cant quite recall the scenario. Even if it was not desync how can you fault someone when they are chasing someone at high speeds then the person they are following drastically slows down. I had almost no time to react and swerve out of the way of he vehicle much less apply enough brakes to stop at a distance where i would not hit her. I dont stop in place as soon as i hit the breaks and you can see i attempted to hit the breaks and stop as i slowed down drastically just a few feet ahead of where the collision happened. She goes for 108 kmh to 75 in a second and a half, I would require inhuman reaction time to respond to that. Also you can hear my bike wheels just out of her POV for majority of the video.

Stop chasing random cars down with absolutely no reason to do it.

Stop putting people in these situations, you knew EXACTLY what you were doing, chase me and harass me until I crashed, or hit one of your cars so you have an excuse to run me down.

Stop with the screaming VOIP RP, all of you screaming:

1) one asked me to get out of the car

2) one says to put my hands up

3) one says get on my kneews

4) one says unlock my door

5) one doing friskapprove

6) one yelling its his 1800, another /b telling me to pay up

5) one says "you better start showing fear for your life"

6) one says "oh please take 5 seconds to open the door" clearly ready to kill me with 5 seconds or your dead RP

7) Another guy calling me a MILF and saying all kinds of sexually suggestive shit, and trying to get my number in the middle of a robbery.

And you wonder why I didn't type anything back??? I just wanted it to end. It was awful. So yes I used too much /b. I really didn't care at that point. 

You are the problem, stop blaming me. You give very little room for victims to RP with you, and you definitely don't help (which I have had in the past and elsewhere, one of my first ever holdups was amazing because my assailants recognized I was brand new and helped me through the scenario)

I play a civilian, because after watching streams, I wanted to play the victim in QUALITY crim/civ RP. I have videos of me putting in 100% effort to RP (and I recognize I am still learning, I still struggle with all the commands, and god forbid I ask OOCly). 

If you want to make me feel better? Next time you find me ICly, and make me the victim, do a better job with your RP, and I promise to do my best to give you a great victim RP experience.

I don't want the few Ks back, it was never the point.

(and I will offer again to cut the video of me struggling with commands to prove I wasn't stalling or trying to RP poorly.)

Jasmine, what you got is what a high speed robbery consists of. I agree with you that the RP could have been a lot better but to say there's no reason to rob a civ is just poor judgement. The only reason a criminal needs to rob you is your money and assets and that's it, make no mistake about that. if you have a nice watch, someone will want it. A gold chain? Snatch it. The point is, robbery RP is NOT some super long drawn out proccess. I agree that it needs more organized RP but it's a get in and out situation because time is against you when you're committing a crime like that. 

Also, make no mistake, we CANNOT please everyone. What some people may respect, others may not. I cannot bring my RP up to 'your' standards and I hope you understand that.

I would still expect you to actually rp fear for your life, 99% of people would be saying "please don't hurt me, take what you want" in a panic or something along those lines instead of being quiet and just doing, as if you've been robbed 1000x like this before and have no fear of it anymore.

Hi there, and thanks for making this report @Jasmine.

After reviewing the evidence presented and the alternative perspective provided by @Purm the ruling today is that the report will be denied as there are no rule-breaches presented in the evidence provided. The bike ram (by @Hootless) can be ruled as desync due to reasonable doubt as the bike did not seem effected in the slightest by the collision which happened after you lost control of going around the corner. ID 46 was merely trying to slow you down to initiate RP, you turned in to his hood thus causing a minor collision.

I can understand a robbery can be frustrating for a civilian but please don't let that fuel negative OOC feelings towards these players. They are roleplaying their characters and you should be roleplaying yours. It can be annoying losing your items you have worked for, but turn the situation into something enjoyable and roleplay with them. Doing this may also then form an IC bond of respect where people will allow you to conduct your civilian RP in peace.
