Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported: ID 20, 118
Date of interaction reported: 8th June 2019
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1559977204

Your characters name: Curtis Jacckson

Other player(s) involved:  86, 15, 19, 4

Specific rule(s) broken:

13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

  • Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life.

  • Examples, where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

• When the engine of your vehicle is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

• When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger.

• Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover.

  • Examples, where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are in a vehicle which engine is not stalled.

• When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked.

• When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you.

  • As a victim, whose life is in direct danger:

• You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker.

9. Non-Roleplay (NRP)

  • Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay.

  • Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay:

• Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason.

• Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching).

• Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles.

• Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water.

• Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase.

  • Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof.

  • In a situation where a player’s game crashes or the player is kicked from the server, they should be allowed to have the same advantages as they have had before their leave.

11. Powergaming (PG)

  • Forceful roleplay that does not give the other player a chance to roleplay their own response is considered powergaming. Other players must be given a chance to roleplay outcomes of actions.

  • Roleplay of unrealistic actions like super strength is another form of powergaming.

  • All statements in /DO must be factually true in the roleplay as it sets grounds for roleplay.

  • Roleplay is required before forceful server commands which may be used without consent from the other party if they are unresponsive and not typing for 30 seconds or more.

  • A player cannot use the faction management script to destroy a faction as it is OOC.

  • Government funded faction members must not abuse the salary system and must go off-duty when they are not performing their faction duties.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

We ran up on ID 20 at gun point who continued to unlock his vehicle and then get into it and drive off, after he drove off we put ID 118 at gunpoint and told her to stop repeatedly which she did not do. After she was shot on the ground she just ignored any roleplay for 4+ min until I finished her, not sure what that would be considered PG or NRP.

Evidence of rule breach:

This is me in the video, it's all my bad, I was tired and didn't feel like getting robbed, although this isn't good reasoning to my actions, it's literally my first time ever getting a report and I believe this can be solved through an in-game exchange or in a roleplay setup.

Also, on the part of the lady, she hasn't been playing for long and became very confused after I fleed with no apparent reason she decided to run to try and catch me completely oblivious of the situation she was in.

All of this is a misunderstanding and I believe I can do right where I have wronged. Sorry for disturbing y'alls night.

REPORT PENDING

Thank you for creating this player report, in attempt to better our community.

The following people will be tagged/notified to give their side of the story within the next 24 hours:

  • ID 20 - Jake_Richman (Already responded)
  • ID 118 - Debbie_Richman

What happens if the person does not respond? We will review the evidence again and provide our conclusion.

What might help my case? Posting evidence of your own point of view  is always a very handy tool. If you don't have any evidence at your disposal, the best you can do is tell the story in full detail on how it happened on your side. Be honest and do not lie in your reply.

REPORT ACCEPTED

Thank you @CurtisJackson for creating this player report, in attempt to better our community.

After deliberation and looking over all of the evidence, I have come to the following conclusion.

  • ID 20 - Jake_Richman (Already responded) - I understand that sometimes we get tired in the game, however, that is not an excuse to break a rule. Upon your admittance to the rule break i will be giving you FearRp | Offense #1 | Disregard for characters life whilst being robbed. |
  • ID 118 - Debbie_Richman - Due to your lack of response and the evidence provided I have been left with no choice but to hand down the same punishment. You will be receiving FearRp | Offense #1 |  Running away from a few people pointing guns at you and having zero regard for your characters life. |

What happens next? If you feel that your punishment is unfair or that you believe it is wrong, please feel free to fill out a punishment appeal using the correct format.
