All players must be able to communicate in English and IC chat must be English only. Foreign language in-character must be done as such: “[Language] English Text” Other languages may be used in private only if everyone who can see has agreed to it. Players may use offensive language in IC chat for roleplay but not excessively. Players must not threaten other players or use offensive language in OOC chat or OOC context. Global announcements must only contain IC content and must not be offensive (IC or OOC). Global announcements cannot be used to advertise illegal merchandise or activities. Global announcements made by players must be realistic and are considered advertisements. How did the player break the rule(s)? Me and my friend were accusing other players of breaching a FearRP rule, when basically, me and my friend pulled on their squad with pump shotguns, aimed at them and gave them a warning that we will shoot so they better put their hands up and do as we say. What happened is, two guys ID 67 and ID 18 started running towards me and punching me with their bare fists so my player started doing shaking animations and could not shoot. Meanwhile, ID 50, ID 20 and Jamie Longfist, used their guns to shoot us. After us saying, that they might be reported for behaving like that ICly, Jamie Longfist responded by calling me and my friend "idiots". Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. Examples, where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When you’re in a vehicle that is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you close range. • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger. • Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover. Examples, where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger: • When you are in a vehicle which engine is not stalled. • When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked. • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you. How did the player break the rule(s)? So me and ID 40 saw that there was a meeting happening.Decided o go crash it i called my demands in chat and aimed my gun at ID 50 he just walks away and turns around and starts shooting me withouth any fear of his life or his friends.Then after killing us we had a little ooc fight and the man ooc insulted me calling me a "Idiot".ID 60 runs straight and starts shouting that he wouldnt insult me using VOIP while the insult was OOC. So from my perspective we were having a meeting and noone called scouts so I was weary, had my gun out for protection, the the monkey masks show up and my suspisions were correct. Chrisy Posted June 5, 2019 Report Share Posted June 5, 2019 I have looked over this report and have came to a conclusion. ID 50/Emil_Diamos will receive a punishment for fear roleplay. The reasoning for this is because your attacker was not directly in front of you as per the rules wording. ID 105/Jamie_Longfist please refrain from calling people idiots or anything of the such in OOC. If a situation has annoyed you just let it continue and stay out of OOC. Take this as a verbal warning and the only one. ID 60/Gerard_Pitter will receive a punishment for mixing IC & OOC. Report has been accepted and archived.
