Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason. Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. • If they report you to the police for a serious crime. • If they are not in compliance with demands, attempt to escape, or call other players for help in a situation where they are required to display fear under fear roleplay rules. A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands. A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands. You must give demands via text if used as a reason to attack as VOIP isn’t always heard. Vehicles cannot be used to attack another player more than once including a failed attempt. The act of killing a player with no engagement in roleplay is not allowed. Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of: Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.) Someone is attempting to take your life. Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen. You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason. How did the player break the rule(s)? I was shot at without any valid demands. The demands that were made were at very high speeds, this has been an issue in a lot of reports where people seem to think shouting from a car to a guy on a bike travelling at 190km/h is acceptable. This is very unrealistic as I would not be able to hear him at those speeds. First Video 00:50 in the first video you can see VOIP demands were made while travelling at a speed around 120km/h 1:43 in the first video was the 1st text demand made, again travelling at very high speeds of 190+km/h 2:55 in the first video ID 22 began to open fire on me with 0 realistic demands. Second Video ID 22 continued to shoot me popping the tire on the bike, VOIP demands were made again during this video, still travelling at speeds around 70km/h ID 82 then ran me over, I have decided not to report this as VDM as he reacted as if it were a mistake. Patrick_Angel (ID 82) (notified in-game) why did you shout orders at a vehicle travelling at high speeds on the highway highway, are you aware that it is very unrealistic and very unlikely for them to hear you? In the second video, you used an expensive vehicle to ram another motorvehicle, this is nonRP, how do you justify doing it? Sincerely, alexalex303 and @punched Hey player 22 here, First of all he didnt post the whole video since the start, we were at LSD lab i recognized that the accuser has stolen my bike (The white BF-400 hes driving is mine) we were telling them to get out of the vehicles even before we started chasing them at LSD lab and they heard us very well but they started running away, we kept giving warnings over voice chat + text chat on /s which is so clear he heard as you can see, it is realistic as well and is possible to occur in real life if you are driving right on the guy, let him also post the whole video since the beginning you'll be able to see he knew we told them to get out of the vehicles but they ran away. Hello, unfortunately I only record 3 minute clips and only hit record when one of you began to open fire on me. However, if you look at the first video at 1:45 you can see the previous interaction when we were speaking to you. 0 demands were made over text. Although you did not kill me, the DM rule states “You must explain your reason to kill the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason.” Being on your bike unfortunetely isnt a valid reason to attack another player. Regards Hector Martinez Provide a full video where you were standing also on 0 KM/H and we were telling you to get off your vehicles right now but u started running away which is why we chased you + i gave you a text shout which you also heard as you can see on your chat + we asked you like 4 times on voice chat too and you also heard, your speed does not really matter because we were driving right on to you next to you with our window open so you can easily hear that as well and in fact you did hear that! Not only to us but other citizens of LS as wel this means you are damaging the name Wanted and there for must be dealt with. Also you were driving a stolen Bike belonging to one of the guys on the scene. The thing is you were standing still i also told you too there but from @taipo video you couldnt hear as he was far, provide your video i think you'll hear me repeating and saying that but hey dont focus that point, you were shot at for really lots of reasons stated above read our comments again above you'll understand. We werent only giving the accuser (the guy on the bike) demands but also the guy on the comet, He was just like the other guy on the bike he was given lots of demands that he ignored everything said above about the accuser applies on him as well because whats the difference here? After reviewing the evidence provided, I've decided to apply the following punishments to the following players: [Patrick_Angel] [Non RP | Offense 1 + VDM | Offense #1] [Shouting orders at a vehicle traveling at high speeds on the highway, and for ramming a motorbike with an expensive vehicle. There was no valid reason to attack the player, as demands shouted from a fast moving vehicle are not a reason to attack another player.] [Tony_Park] [Player is already permanently banned] [James_Fielding] [DM | Offense #1] [Acting on orders shouted from or at moving vehicles is not allowed, and the request you made when you were stationary happened without any weapons aimed, and thus they were not under fearRP.] Not happy with the outcome? If you have received a punishment that you do not agree with, you are entitled to a fair punishment appeal that follows the guidelines and format provided.
