No Crime Zones (NCZ) A no crime zone is an area where players may not commit any actions considered crimes. Players must not disobey orders of law enforcement officers but are allowed to flee. The /NCZ command and HUD notification are indicators of being in a protected area although it is up to administrator discretion if your actions are in violation of NCZ rules. If a player uses the NCZ for protection the attacker must wait for that player to leave the area. Players may not go to a NCZ after engaging in criminal activity resulting in an ongoing chase. NO CRIME ZONES: • “Tequil La La” club, “Yellow Jack Inn” bar, and the block around them. • All government offices, law enforcement offices, hospitals, banks, and the blocks around them. • Los Santos Airport, Bus Depot, Department of Motor Vehicles, and the block around them. 9. Non-Roleplay (NRP) Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay. Examples of actions that are considered as non-roleplay: • Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason. • Mercy Killing - Asking to be killed by a friend (Killing a friend falls under deathmatching). • Unrealistic stunt jumping or the use of an expensive vehicle to ram into other vehicles. • Spawning a scripted work vehicle and using it for crimes or submerging any vehicle in water. • Swimming in water for an unrealistic amount of time or without a destination during a chase. Players who disconnect during roleplay must reconnect and inform other parties in order to resume roleplay. If you are unable to reconnect it may be excused after providing proof. In a situation where a player’s game crashes or the player is kicked from the server, they should be allowed to have the same advantages as they have had before their leave. 14. Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason. Examples of valid reasons to attack another player: • If they attempt to arrest or hurt you, an ally, or damage your property. • If they report you to the police for a serious crime. • If they are not in compliance with demands, attempt to escape, or call other players for help in a situation where they are required to display fear under fear roleplay rules. A player cannot kill their victim if the victim is in compliance with the demands. A player must allow their victim enough time to comply with the demands. You must give demands via text if used as a reason to attack as VOIP isn’t always heard. Vehicles cannot be used to attack another player more than once including a failed attempt. The act of killing a player with no engagement in roleplay is not allowed. Killing a player that has obeyed all orders and demands during a roleplay situation is allowed, with roleplay, only within 3 hours of: Severe hostile or criminal action is taken against you, e.g. someone is robbing you at gunpoint. (Excluding police aiming a gun at you.) Someone is attempting to take your life. Someone is attempting to take the life of your close friend or ally, or if you have witnessed it happen. You must explain your reason to kill to the player IC and have OOC evidence proving your reason. How did the player break the rule(s)? NCZ Rules state "Players may not go to a NCZ after engaging in criminal activity resulting in an ongoing chase." ID 11 committed a criminal offence by ramming one of our gang members cars and injuring a gang member. A chase was then started as he sped off with several of our members chasing him. ID 11 then tried to hide inside the MD NCZ for over 2 mins refusing to leave even when an admin got involved. Eventually though the admin got him moving again but only for him to then run and hide in the PD NCZ. NRP Rules State "Cop Baiting - Provoking a reaction from emergency services without a realistic reason." ID 11 then decided to drive on to the pavements next to cops trying his best to get cops involved which I believe constitutes Cop Bating which break the NRP rule. Not only once but twice ID 11 tried to hide in PD NCZ wheel spinning, shouting at cops and driving on pavements in front of cops etc again I believe he was cop baiting. Eventually he left PD NCZ, after we again went to get Admin involved, only for him to then cop bait at the parking lot, cop was already there when he got to parking lot, he then run someone over at the parking lot in front of cops which lead to him being chased by cops, again I believe this is what he wanted and was cop baiting so that he could be chased for fun. This all started with him baiting us by the initial ramming of one of our cars and injuring one of our guys. There was no RP reason to do so, he did not engage with us in RP before hand and clearly he just wanted to make trouble for us and cops. ID 11 Claimed that he didnt commit a crime and therefor was able to run to an NCZ however ramming a car and injuring someone is a crime and in RL you wouldn't do that then run to the cops or else you would be arrested for dangerous driving and using a vehicle as a weapon or something along those lines. His actions at the PD were very unrealistic and very poor RP and his action at MD NCZ was purely trying to avoid being captured by us. Later his actions turned into pure cop baiting by trying to involve cops for his own amusement which int he end resulted in him running a civilian over in front of another cop at parking lot then being chased by cops as I explained earlier too. DM Rule states "Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason."- For the initial reason of attacking the car by ramming and injuring our guy as a result too. You clearly planned what you were about to do as you can see on the video you waitied on the middle of the road looking over at the car then you positioned yourself for ramming then you sped up when reversing then quickly made your escape. You have admitted ramming the car for no valid reason so I refer you to the DM rule - DM Rule states "Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player or their property without a proper roleplay reason."- For the initial reason of attacking the car by ramming and injuring our guy as a result too. Also, you ran to the MD NCZ first so I will refer you to the NCZ rule - NCZ Rules state "Players may not go to a NCZ after engaging in criminal activity resulting in an ongoing chase." Cops told you to move on, you were not being shot at, you were not being rammed or anything. You commited the crime so running to the Police after trying to hide in the MD NCZ can only be looked at as hiding in PD NCZ and or Cop Baiting since you went to PD NCZ twice driving on pavements next to police etc. You actually done laps infront of another Police car at parking lot too and then ran someone over right in front of that same Police car which is really poor roleplay and obvious cop baiting as you got the chase you clearly wanted from Police after we gave up. I am not police baiting as i am going to them try and flee from a gang??? yes i rammed the car?? but i did not injure anyone in the process. We didn't have to call an ambulance but you still attacked him by attacking the car as it's obvious you would cause injury or take health away if you ram a car while standing on. The NCZ incident took over two mins and even when the admin got involved it took persuading to get you to move. Then you done the same as the PD until we said get admin involved again. You broke rules and tried to lie and hide to get out of it Please Tell me how i am lying?? an injured player is someone who dies and loses all of their health, i left the scene both times and the only reason i went to the PD was to get the cops attention?? you really need to stop attacking me due to beef that happen in game. What is your reasoning behind this? @JoshisEllis The actual reason for ramming the car, was because me and the driver (114) was exchanging in game messages about each other getting robbed. Chrisy Posted June 5, 2019 Report Share Posted June 5, 2019 Thanks for all of the replies. Lets start with the no crimezones. The player fled for help to begin with then fled to MD. After being asked to leave the NCZ's by Fa1N he done so. If there was an issue with that I'm sure Fa1N would've handled it in game so I will not pursue it here. As for the cop baiting it is evident he was trying to get close to get help from the officers and not bait them as you have said. Ramming the vehicle with you car, damaging the players property and the player himself will be handled as deathmatching. Player Slim_Davis will receive a punishment for deathmatching.
