13. Fear Roleplay (FRP)

• Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life.

• Examples, where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

• When the engine of your vehicle is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you at close range.

• When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger.

• Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover.

• Examples, where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger:

• When you are in a vehicle which engine is not stalled.

• When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked.

• When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you.

• As a victim, whose life is in direct danger:

• You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker.

How did the player break the rule(s)?

The reported parties were cooking as I ran up on them with my gun out, then at gun point told both of them to turn to the wall and get on their knees, neither followed and went ooc as I was trying to respond they took their guns out and killed me, as RP'ly someone typing should still be considered as aiming their gun FearRP was broken.

Hi i`m id 31

first my friend killed him before but he came back to where he died so he broke NLR. second he did`t gave any demands on text, third he pointed the gun at me, so my friend goes ahead take his gun out and killed him. that is a valid RP i think because you can not point a gun on 2 person on same time!.

You are two people closely standing next to each other, you are telling me I can't hold two people at gun point at that distance in reallife and shoot them before they take out a gun, especially as both of you were cooking? Also it was very obvious that both of you took advantage of me beginning to type to do what you did.

If you think I broke any rule I invite you to open a report on me with evidence, and then I will make my case.

From my point of view i saw him come in, he said nothing. Both VOIP/text should be done. Then i stopped making drugs and saw him pointing a gun at me and my friend. I've heard nothing from him so i started shooting.

Hey thanks for the replies.

ID 31/Freddie_Ozera will receive a verbal warning for Fear Roleplay. This is just a reminder that if a player is breaking a rule, you have to continue roleplaying and in the process make a /report or make a forum report once the situation is finished.

ID 33/Chris_Frank will receive a punishment for Fear Roleplay. You state you cannot hear the players demands but while having a gun aimed towards you, you continue to take out your gun and start shooting specifically when the reporting party started typing.
