CurtisJackson
Player(s) being reported: ID 78 Date of interaction reported: 3rd June 2019 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1559566327 Your characters name: Curtis Jacckson Other player(s) involved: - Specific rule(s) broken: 13. Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. Examples, where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When the engine of your vehicle is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger. • Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover. Examples, where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger: • When you are in a vehicle which engine is not stalled. • When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked. • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you. As a victim, whose life is in direct danger: • You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker. How did the player break the rule(s)? I was standing next to his bike with my gun out, then aimed it at the reported party and told him to get off of his bike to which he reacted by driving off. Dqniel
Hello, and thank you for making this report! @CurtisJackson Player Jack_Jordan will receive 24 hours to respond with his side of the story and explain the reasoning for his actions which can be seen in the provided evidence above. Why did you continue to drive away in a vehicle which provides no legitimate cover from any type of damage while the reporting party held you under direct gunpoint at close range? As the reported party does not have a forum account, he will be notified of this report in-game. Kind regards, Dqniel

Dqniel
Hello, and thank you to everyone who responded with their side of the story. After extensively reviewing the provided evidence as well as taking the points stated above into consideration, i have decided to conclude this report. Player Jack_Jordan will receive a Non-Roleplay punishment for breaching Fear Roleplay | Offense #3. First and foremost, i would like to address the punishment of Non-Roleplay and the reasoning behind it. In the provided evidence of this report, it can be seen that you are on a bike and briefly talking to the reporting party. The reporting party then equips his weapon and aims it towards you, while both utilizing the voice chat and the text chat to make his demands, and as a result of this, you drive away in full speed. The issue that arises with this situation is that the conscious actions of player Jack_Jordan is not in accordance with our Fear Roleplay rules. As outlined in the Fear Roleplay section of the rulebook, your life is considered to be in direct danger when a weapon is pointed at you in close range and you are on foot or on a bike. Quote Examples, where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. By being on a bike it would essentially mean that you are entirely vulnerable to any type of damage and would lack any legitimate protection from gunshots and flying bullets, and as such you should instead have complied with the demands being made upon you and showed an adequate and realistic amount of fear for the life of your character. While i do believe that the proximity of the text chat was in enough range for you to see, the act of pointing a deadly weapon just inches away from you should speak for itself regardless - your first instinct while under direct threat should not be to drive away but rather comply and show an adequate and realistic amount of fear for the life of your character, as you were unarmed, defenseless and at a clear disadvantage during this situation. As an ending statement i would like to point out that as players of Eclipse Roleplay we should all strive to provide the highest quality of roleplay in every encounter we have. This is not in the spirit of how we intend for players to roleplay with one another and i genuinely hope that you take this into consideration when moving forward in the future. Thank you for making this report! @CurtisJackson Report is accepted and archived. Kind regards, Dqniel
