50 minutes ago, Larry Wrzosek said:

As you can see in the chat logs of what Timothy is saying in his own video, he considers his recent death to be exempt from the NLR policy and returns to retrieve his bike after crashing off his bike and dying. I watched Timothy bleed out inside the mount chilliad tunnel, pick locked his bike and was chopping it. Then he came back to chilliad and locked his bike while I was chopping so I killed him.

12. New Life Rule (NLR)

All parties involved must avoid interaction with each other for 30 minutes. A player must not return to the area of their death for that time frame or attempt to retrieve lost possessions from involved players. An exception is made for government faction members who may provide a faction duty service, though their memory being lost and inability to retrieve assets still apply.

If Timothy is going to ignore the NLR and come to chop to lock and interrupt my chop, then im gunna kill him. I did not go out of my way to kill Tim, he is the one that drove accross the map from MD to return to the area he died to recover his bike. I want to make it clear that I did not kill Timothy prior to getting his bike, and when I pick locked his bike I unlocked his bike first pick lock so he did not recieve a message that his bike was being broken into. He ignored the NLR policy to come talk to me in /b before roleplay cuz he understood he was not supposed to be there, yet he comes and locks his bike while im 7/8 mins into chopping it. I mean look at the video itself he has the bus job info on his screen he probably took a bus to get back to chilliad lol

ICly I made the decision to chop his bike after he died. So ICly im thinking "what use is a drag to a dead guy" Then he shows up to chop which is right up the dirt road from where he died like 7 mins ago. I'm not sure how I am supposed to RP with someone that died 5-10 mins prior to the situation. "Hey dude aren't you the dude that just died down the road? Welcome back to life here's your bike" Then he locks my bike instantly taking away 7 mins of me sitting there so I killed him. Then his friends killed me.

In my opinion the whole situation is fucked once he breaks NLR. If Tim did not try to repossess the drag in which he lost 5-10 mins after dying, a lot of stuff would not have happened.

1. I wouldn't have killed Tim

2. I wouldn't have gotten killed by his friends

3. This FC would not exist

I reached out to Tim on forums and on discord in which we spoke for over an hour and I hoped to solve it between us however he believes he did not break NLR since I didn't kill him prior to getting his bike. So here we are needing an admins opinion

Thanks for your response. Please allow myself and @Dqniel some time to look over this report.

If you believe he broke NLR (I agree with you), please make another report.

For the time being, I request both parties to refrain from commenting further unless it called for.

Hello, and thank you to everyone who responded with their side of the story. After extensively reviewing the provided evidence as well as taking the points stated above into consideration, @Xypint and myself have come to a conclusion regarding this report.

To start off, we would like to point out that while we are glad that you managed to find a middle ground in this situation and solve it privately with the reporting party, it does not excuse your displayed actions during this roleplay situation. While the reporting party is admittedly wrong for returning prior to the New Life Rule timer running out and retrieving his lost possessions, that does not give you the right to combat one rulebreak with another. The fact remains that you killed him without any roleplay initiation and simply using the fact that he locked his bike as valid reason to attack is not sufficient at any level, and certainly does not warrant you (or anyone else for that matter) to kill. As frustrating as it might be, we expect all players to cope with the mistakes of their peers, and not combat rulebreaks with a rulebreak. In the future, please make a /report or simply inform the player of their wrongdoings rather than resorting to killing the player, as doing the aforementioned could have saved a lot of time and avoided this report on you all-together. As the reported party as well as yourself have come to an agreement with one another and have openly stated that you wish to no longer pursue with this report, i will reduce the outcome of this reports in terms of punishment to a simple warning on your administrative log. Being as experienced of a player that you are, we expect you to know the Deathmatch rules by now, as well as the fact that you do not combat a rulebreak with another rulebreak.

With that being said, we would like to address one final thing which relates to how the two of you decided to go about no longer wanting to pursue this report once you came to a common agreement and solved it privately. You (or anyone else for that matter) do not have the ability to archive or conclude a report by your own. If the reporting party and the reported party has come to an agreement and no longer want to pursue a report, they are to kindly notify the reviewing administrator of this and not completely remove all contents of their post(s). We cannot stress the fact that the conclusion of a report and whether or not a player is being punished for a rulebreak is completely in the hands of the reviewing administrator and not the player. Removing all the contents of your post(s) is not in the spirit of how reports are supposed to be handled and we urge the both of you to take this with you should any of you be faced with a similar situation such as this in the future.

Thank you for making this report.

Report is concluded and archived.

Kind regards,

@Xypint & Dqniel.
