Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear roleplay is the concept of roleplaying fear for your character’s safety and life. Examples, where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When the engine of your vehicle is stalled or turned off and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. • When the attacker lowers their weapon to type or roleplay, your life remains in direct danger. • Driving a vehicle in an active shootout more than once without the intent of protecting a friend, fleeing with it, or using it as cover. Examples, where your character’s life is NOT considered to be in direct danger: • When you are in a vehicle which engine is not stalled. • When you have a firearm drawn and are facing the other person before they attacked. • When the attacker’s view is obstructed by an object or when they turn their back on you. As a victim, whose life is in direct danger: • You must display reasonable value for your life and comply with the demands of your attacker. How did the player break the rule(s)? I ran up on this dude with my gun aimed, made my demands via voip and chat after which he asks "why?" while he is pulling out his gun and attempts to shoot me. Ricardass Posted May 31, 2019 Report Share Posted May 31, 2019 You came,and wrote to put my hands up while I was checking supplies,When I came off the inventory tab you were approaching me with gun and I decided to take my gun out and find out whats going on,If you would understand how to rp you would do /shout Hands up don't talk or move or I will shoot. But in this case you wrote : ''Nnnhands up,don't talk or move or I will shoot'' . By the way I accidently hit the ''Tab'' button on my keyboard and my character started taking the firearm out,and then I was killed. If you don't believe me ,you don't have to goodluck. ID13/Richard_Robinson | You will receive a punishment for a breach of the Fear-RP rule. As the rule states in our handbook: Quote Examples, where your character’s life is considered to be in direct danger: • When you are on foot or bike and a weapon is aimed at you at close range. in this instance it's pretty self-evident that you was in direct danger. Lastly, I find it very hard to believe that you just "accidentally" hit tab and that is why you pulled your gun out, as you immediately started to aim and shoot as soon as the script has enabled you to do so. In any incident where you accidentally MC you simply inform the opposing party in /b that you did not intend to pull your gun out, however in this case you decide to capitalise on your supposed mistake to gain an advantage and break a rule in the process. I suggest re-reading our Fear-RP rule again and take measures to avoid this incident again. Report Accepted & Archived.
