Xypint
Player(s) being reported: Zillian_dent Date of rule breach: 12/21/18 Time of rule breach: 7:46PM ESRT Your characters name: Michael_Pedro Other players involved: N/A Specific rule broken: " 7.2 Deathmatch 7.2.1 Deathmatch is the act of killing or hurting another player (or damaging their property) without a proper roleplay reason. An attempt to break this rule will result in a temporary or permanent ban. 7.4 Kill on sight 7.4.1 Kill on sight (KoS) is the act of killing a player with no engagement in roleplay. " How did the player break the rule?: I was chopping a vehicle which belonged to Zetas, and I did not know this. I then was approached by Zillian_Dent, a player I was very chill with ICly. We had no beef whatsoever, and we did alot of things together in the past when I was in Zetas. I was kicked for an OOC reason, (Found here:https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/495036250042925069/523725831806124032/Screenshot_20181215-120320_Discord.jpg) ICly there was no roleplay following this. Zillian_Dent then proceeded to aim a gun at me and while I was chopping, I accelerated into him making a flee, I then texted him asking why he would ever rob me. I was then bombarded by his IC death threats. I wanted to squash all beef, so I proceeded to offer the car back with all respect. His IC anger was misguided by OOC reasons. I then proceeded to return the car where I was approached by rude behavior, ICly. So I remarked rudely. I was then KOSed on the spot with no RP, or very poor RP. I'm not 100% sure if this would grant him KOS, and regardless the only reason I am making this report is because of the poor to no roleplay in this situation. I was then greeted with toxicity when trying to OOCly resolve this. Jay gamble is not involved in this report. Evidence of rule breach: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HLUNaJseb_s (All parties involved, remember I was KOSed, so I am now dead. IC Beef squashed.) Rubsmeister
This happened no longer then 10 minutes prior to me shooting you, giving me valid KOS. As to your story about OOC hate... I treat you like I do anyone else outside of my gang. I get a call about someone chopping on of our cars so I go to repo it. I could have sshot you as soon as I saw you, but I didn't. Then you told me to shut the fuck up, so I acted up on my right to KOS. Before i comment further I would like an Admin to respond and accept this report. I tend to believe that when admins see multiple replys on a report the assume it was accepted and it gets left alone. Just to clarify, from my POV, I didn't run over Zillian a second time... Must have been Desync as I swerved around him to avoid hitting the pole again. Aldari
Hello and thank you for making this report. To @Xypint do you have footage of your point of view? Since I find it hard to believe the desync in this scenario was so bad that you managed run him over again for a second time. Secondly, the KOS rule states a player has valid KOS when, and I quote: Quote 7.4.3 KoS is allowed for these specific reasons: • Your life was threatened in the past (ex.: in a robbery, a combat situation or a hostage situation); • The life of your friend or ally is threatened at the present or if you have witnessed it happen in the past; • There is an attempt to steal your valuables, or those of your group, if the value of theft is not less than $75.000 (this point excludes vehicles); In this instance I would consider running him down twice to be within the definition of threatening his life, and as we can see the act of running him over very nearly did indeed kill him. It seems to me he decided to exercise his KOS on you after you insulted him. Regards, ~ Aldari_Tagril

And I can guarentee you I did not run over him twice, because after hitting him once I conciously made an effort not to go over him a second time, and I made a turn that was infact wider than the turn shown in the video. And I find it to be promoting poor roleplay to KOS someone for saying "shut the fuck up". Edited December 22, 2018 by Xypint
Aldari
Hello, after reviewing this report I have decided to conclude with the following. Stranger 5692_815 (Zilian_Dent) | You will receive no punishment for KOS or Deathmatching. In this instance Stranger 5692_815 had KOS rights on Michael_Pedro for the act of running him over, twice. As well as stealing a fellow gang members car and then insulting him, I'd consider the accumulation of these actions to be viable reason to attack you. I do not see any poor level of roleplay here, I see a roleplay scenario that perhaps didn't turn out in Michael_Pedro's favour, but overall there is a lot more interaction in this roleplay scenario than exists in most cases of as stolen car being chopped. The reasoning behind this conclusion is based on the following sub-section of the 7.4 Kill on Sight: Quote 7.4.3 KoS is allowed for these specific reasons: • Your life was threatened in the past (ex.: in a robbery, a combat situation or a hostage situation); • The life of your friend or ally is threatened at the present or if you have witnessed it happen in the past; • There is an attempt to steal your valuables, or those of your group, if the value of theft is not less than $75.000 (this point excludes vehicles); Most notably "Your life was threatened in the past (ex.: in a robbery, a combat situation or a hostage situation);". In this instance you was not KOS'd for saying "shut the fuck up", as KOS relies on there being no interaction in-between the RP that gives you KOS and actually fulfilling the KOS. In this instance you was deathmatched for saying "shut the fuck up" to somebody who already had KOS rights on you from when you run them over, an action considered a threat to their life. This is a perfectly valid reason to exercise their right to kill you and one I would consider a realistic. Stranger 4269_2983 (Michael_Pedro) | You will receive no punishment for VDM Due to the lack of POV from your perspective I am willing to give you the benefit of the doubt and believe that this was not an intentional attempt at VDM. I also feel that this roleplay scenario, and therefore all the parties involved, demonstrated a reasonable level of roleplay and that punishing either side would serve no benefit to any member of the community or the community itself. I think this entire roleplay scenario was fairly and reasonably roleplayed out to a realistic degree. It may not have concluded with the desired outcome that Michael_Pedro wished for, but nevertheless I see no reason to punish anybody here today or to conclude this RP scenario on a OOC level. I have concluded no rules were broken by either party. Thank you for making the report. Report Rejected & Archived.
