Deathmatch is the act of killing or hurting another player or damaging their property intentionally without having a valid in-character reason to do that. Breaking this rule repeatedly will end in a permanent ban. 5.5.1. Actions, that are unrealistic or hurt the roleplay experience of other players are considered as Non-roleplay. 6.1.2. Fear roleplay is the concept of role playing fear for your character’s life in situations where your safety is in immediate danger most importantly but not limited to when an attacker is in a position to quickly end your life at will. This can come in a form of having a weapon aimed at your character’s head at close range, where reaching for your own weapon would result in you being killed instantly, or where your life is in direct danger and any attempt to resist would result in your immediate death. How did the player break the rule?: We headed to the farm and found a farmer that was about to sell his wheat and ofcourse as a criminal we try to pick up some easy money so we decided to rob him and what happend made me literally speechless. I gave the reported party numerous chances to put his hands up but he kept walking around and asked how to hands up (in voip), after i told him that he has a final warning to put his god damn hands up he took it oocly and asked me how to but hands up ("how to put hands up" in /b) as you can see in the video. I thought ok sure maybe he does not know the command so i started writing in /b, but as SOON as i started to write (while we all can see that i have the "Typing..." label above my head) he pulled a gun and gunned me down and in my opinion this is actually major, he baited me to write in /b so he can gun me down, he was not showing fear and he blatantly DM-ed me. Further on i want to add that Liam McGregor recorded this and by the time i had a Uzi which was FRESH with 100 bullets, along with a bag, radio, 50. cal (70 bullets ish) + a knife i REALLY HOPE i can get this refunded, due to this rulebreaker actually made me lose these items. We were talking german in discord but we have not shared any IC information and we mainly use it to communicate outside of ECRP as soon we enter a RP scenario we usually mute eachother but already in the very beginning this player has shown very suspicious movement and i already saw this comming. So, if there is any concern basically every german speaking staff member can confirm that we did not metagame. This guy should under no circumstance be allowed to play on the server due to he has no knowledge about the server rules and i highly doubt he actually passed the quiz himself. But i do in fact report people that have no clue what the actual fuck they are doing on a RP server, which well is uhm completly well explained in the video that i provided. I will be taking this report over due to being able to understand german, making sure there is nothing done wrong in the communication OOCly. To evaluate, the communication via discord is about "not shooting because he is typing", certainly OOC communication, aswell as the other content not having affected the case. The shots could clearly be heard ingame anyway. No metagaming on Johnson's side. About the situation itself: You took out your gun and shot the person, typing clearly visible, while being at gunpoint. This certainly being against the so called Fear Roleplay rule we have, you have broken this rule. 2nd off, you asked in /b (OOC-chat) yourself, and not even having awaited that response, aswell as immediatly abusing the situation that built up to the FearRP. If you require script advice, you may ask and they are supposed to answer. In fact, they even said "Don't shoot, he is typing" as you asked it. This even seemed like a case of baiting you to type to shoot you, but that is not garanteed. However, you shot as they were typing, immediatly having taken the gun out and benefitting from the situation. Due to not even awaiting his response as you went OOC yourself and were AWARE they were gonna type, you have taken a benefit of that and abused the situation. This certainly broke the metagaming rule, even benefitting you. Possible scenarios after your OOC question: You were aware they were either gonna respond or shoot next, shooting would not be allowed as you didn't get to respond yet, but requested help, so only one possibility was possible, them going to type. Reasoning clarifies the metagaming is broken, beneficial towards you. Additionally, we are certainly aware of your edit up there, but that will be seperated and given over to the head admins. What exactly I am referring to, will be brought to you soon, otherwise I will message you personally, if the case is forgotten. Summary: Player @Vofka_Shiskin has broken the FearRP role, having shown no regard towards roleplaying fear while at gunpoint. Therefore, due to it being the 2nd punishment of FearRP, you will be receiving the following punishment: FearRP | Offense #2 | Normal. The reported party has neither obided the rules of metagaming, the first offense being placed on your record, receiving Metagaming | Offense #1 | Normal, normal due to benefiting of the situation, a scenario question above clearing other scenarios out and clarifying awareness. Note for the reporting party: @Adrian Johnson's refund request will get a approved report mark, this not garanteeing the refund request, but proving the story atleast.
