This can come in a form of having a weapon aimed at your character’s head at close range, where reaching for your own weapon would result in you being killed instantly, or where your life is in direct danger and any attempt to resist would result in your immediate death. The guy who owned the car turned out to be the cop that was off duty. So I left. Later on the cop went on duty and saw me driving my car and decided to chase after me. So no, I did not bait the chase. They stopped me but I managed to get away from them as I was not restrained nor being held at gunpoint. They caught me again and that's where it went wrong. They were gonna take me to jail. You are just walking around. If I was cuffed, how was I able to shoot then? Wouldn't the cuffs stop me? I wasn't being held at gunpoint, the effect of the taser cleared and I ran when I saw the chance. I was not restrained/being dragged/put in the back of the cruiser. I also got another complaint. Think of this situation from a real life standpoint: would a cop ALLOW you to assist them to chase someone down on a high speed chase? Would you consider that RP? That's another issue I wanted to confront. More importantly as a bystander, what logic allows you to think you can enter a high speed chase without fearing your life? This is where the issue starts, after the video: That cop broke NLR. I was fine with the whole situation until 2 guys showed up and killed the cop, releasing Justin Zack. That's where it went wrong. He came back and played it off as if nothing happened. I'm not going to jail because the cop decided to break NLR. That's the part he doesn't want to show you. Hence the reason the video is cut short. I even asked an admin if it was okay to do this and the response I got was if 30 minutes had not passed since the time of the death, the cop can not show back up and continue immediately. That's exactly what he did. I reported the incident, however, there wasn't any admins to come online and assess the situation until much later. To further add, the 3rd party involved, the mechanic (602_2309) , decided it was okay to metagame and mix characters. This footage shows Cody Deluca. I switched characters today (mind you this is much later than this event) and played on my other character, Brandon Zach, where the mechanic decides to make false accusations against this character due to the past events with Cody Deluca, causing me (Brandon Zach) to get arrested for no reason whatsoever and getting BOTH characters banned from LSC even though Brandon Zach had nothing to do with the situation. Metallica3698 Posted November 29, 2018 Report Share Posted November 29, 2018 So, i have no way to prove about the whole reason the cop was chasing us even if it was IRL the day before this occurred but basically Cody walked up to a car at the LSC and accidentally got into it, in which the owner of the car said that he was an off duty cop and put him at gun point, at which point Cody apologized and got out, guy said Cody was getting arrested for attempted GTA. We then left and both of us died in that same gaming session/day. Cody goes back to LCS the night this occurred where the cop immediately started chasing. Queue this scenario here: I was nearby Cody and saw he was getting chased which is why i was searching around when i found him. Clearly in that video, Cody was not being held at gunpoint when i pulled up, he jumped on and we left. We did not get aimed at until he was already on my bike and we had started driving away which i had no idea that the cop was shooting. We then get followed by that guy on the bike, but i couldn't figure out how the cop caught up to us considering us and that guy on the bike were light years ahead of the cop, but he kept up with us the entirety of the way. Anyways, in a real life scenario, would a cop really have some random mechanic and bystander, participating in a high speed chase, where guns were involved?? We smack the rail and both get incapacitated. Sure we kinda messed around with the /do's but i believe both parties broke rules. After this recording ended, i was put in the cruiser, where i was taken to the hospital to get health, to then be taken to the i believe prison. While at the hospital, another car was nearby when i started VOIP asking the 2 guys in the car to help me. They shouted no, but a little while after we left the hospital, that same car came and forced the cop out of the car, tried stealing the cop car incapacitated the cop and then mugged him for the keys for the cuffs at which point they questioned me and asked why i was arrested and why they should let me be free, and then asked the cop if i should be let free, at which point they set me free still in cuffs. The cop dies before i am able to run away. Afterwards, i run back (we made it quite a bit aways so it was quite a few min to get back) to Cody at which point that same cop is sitting there arresting Cody. I /ooc and claimed NLR considering i was at the scene this cop died at. The mechanic that was there claimed that because he called the police, this same cop was allowed to come back and continue with the case that he died at. Sure, he was technically not associated with Cody when he died, but was still involved with that "call" when he died. Doesnt make much sense if that is still allowed because NLR states that you cannot return or roleplay with anyone from the scene for at least 30 minutes. Cazual4d Posted December 7, 2018 Author Report Share Posted December 7, 2018 @MusketDeezNuts I was looking for them at first then when i finally started the chase they were baiting i guess I was looking for them, as they had tried to steal my car with multiple whiteness at LSC watched him get in my car the car stalled and he kept trying to start the engine when he wouldnt get out the car when i asked nicely i pulled my gun in him and so did 2 of the mechanics that where there, after they left (yes i did shoot them) i left and wend on duty being the only cop on duty i went to lsc to see if the mechanics were alright, when i spotted them.
