Players are welcome to speak to staff for guidance in regard to roleplay. Some examples (not exhaustive) of Non-RP: How did the player break the rule(s)? I am speeding down the highway reaching speeds of 201km/h. I arrive over a crest, and appear within view of a police cruiser. I tap on the brakes, taking me down to 162, 150 etc. The cruiser follows, and I get a $2000 ticket for doing 201 in a 145. I'm in such disbelief as the timespan between me visually seeing the cruiser at 201, and dropping my speed below 201, was a total of 2.1 seconds. I reach out on discord and find out that the radar system is proximity-based (OCly), and this is how "everyone else in PD and SD do it". While he showed leniency in the ticket, I don't believe it should have been allowed to be ticketable, as he would have needed to have a fast radar gun trained on my exact location to react within such a timespan. I'm raising this as a player report to get a response from senior/administrators, as I don't believe the police should be able to act upon speeding information gathered in this way. Evidence: My POV showing my /b disbelief and asking for POV (pending his side, he needs to trim the hour of footage) His screenshot showing my speed being visible within a split second of my car visually appearing over the ridge. Ax Spencer Posted June 3, 2022 Report Share Posted June 3, 2022 Hello, So the picture above from my POV is the best I can get. I have footage but I cant find a software to trim the video at all. I can live stream it to discord to you. What had happened was I was going north bound on great ocean highway to check out the chumash bank, making sure it wasn't being robbed. I have my mini MDC open and I keep driving north. I see Mortimer driving in the opposite lane and I clock him on the mini MDC at 201 KPH. I then flip a u-turn with my lights and sirens and I head south bound great ocean highway to pull mortimer over. After calling it in I proceeded a 10-55 on the red rebla seen in the footage. Mortimer was driving and I give him a speeding ticket for going 201 in a 145. Cutting him some slack. He then wanted to see how PD clocks people and after showing him the mini MDC he proceeded to report me. I told him to make a suggestions about the radar gun and not being able to clock someone going 201. He did that (I Think) but no one responded so he then made a player report. Unfortunately, you were within that angle and thus you were caught. If you feel something within this scripting needs to be adjusted/improved, I highly recommend posting your thoughts in our suggestion board and our team will have a look at it.
