So currently i was doing some paperwork at DOC and talking when i overheard someone screaming, i went into the cell block and pretty much when i went in and i tased the women, after she kept mumbling about something in regards to city it sounded like but she kept saying shes n floor spazzing out, also stated that i need to help, sounded like she said under the map but other then that i payed no attention, i told her to go into a cell and she kept walking to me so i combat rolled back which her response is "Why you slide Canceling" she kept walking to me getting to close as i knew she would try attack she was trying to time it and refusing given demands is shown resisting hence why i use my taser again, with this i pulled my SMG out not to aim but to give her more concerns for her self but when she got up she Hit me and then pretty much decided to run while a SMG was aimed at her, when i finally got near her she had then Disconnected, there was no Crash report nor did she come back into the game, and we have been waiting for to long.

REPORT ACCEPTED
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following player(s):

  • Niteto_Niteto (112) - Fear RP | Ignored officer at close range with heavy weapons drawn.

Niteto_Niteto (112) Combat Logging | Disconnecting in the midst of an active roleplay scenario.

In the evidence provided the DOC guard can be observed Tasing the reported party as a direct result of them punching another inmate.  The reported party was told repeatedly to comply and enter a cell to which these demands were blatantly ignored.  The guard tased the inmate a second time as he attempted to approach the guard instead of entering the cell.  The guard then pulled out a heavy weapon as he feared the inmate would strike which he indeed did swing at the officer after the weapon was drawn then proceeded to run off while under the direct fire of the heavy weapon.  Once the officer approached the reported party disconnected from the server without reporting in crash reports or attempting to contact the other players involved or any admin of an uncontrolled crash.

Now we will review the aspects of combat logging that impacted this decision.

  • Disconnecting/Crashing from Active Roleplay Scenarios
  • When a game crash/disconnect occurs, players must make an effort to contact the involved players or staff. Most commonly, this is done on Eclipse RP's official discord server, in the #crash-reports channel.
  • When a player returns from a game crash/disconnect, all players involved must be given the same opportunities they held prior.

To explain the reasoning for the Fear RP punishment(s) let’s first review the parts of the FearRP rule that impacted this decision.

  • Fear Roleplay is the concept of showing appropriate care and concern to preserve your character's safety and life. We aim for balanced gameplay through this rule, and it may not be representative of real life at times.
  • Players whose life is in direct danger must RP adequate fear and comply with demands given to them. Direct danger could mean, for example, a gun aimed at your head or at you from close vicinity, by any player.
  • A player is not showing proper fear if they run while on foot/bike or in an unpowered vehicle and a weapon is aimed at them at close range, or if they drive into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover or fleeing with it.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.

This report will now be locked and archived.
