I was being chased by Irish after they had given me demands because they saw that i had a shotgun on my back then i met some guys in a warrener i decided to hop on their freq and they were also being chased so then we decided to ambush them at the metal bridge near stab. This is where i got of my car and started to shoot at the oncoming Irish vehicles after a couple seconds of an active shootout taking place an Irish contender drives full speed into me taking away almost all of my HP. I believe that this hit was intentional and that i might have not ended up loosing my shotgun if not for the contender hitting me. Evidence of rule breach Unfortunately my shadow play was off during this as i forgot to turn it on. I went for the ram cause he was aiming a shotgun at my allies the first one being the green issi (screen shot labeled issi)at 16-17 second time stamp. As the man with the pump had his backup all in the warrener(4 people) stopped next to him him getting out. If I hopped out I would get beamed by a shotgun and 4 people with .50s at that close of a range, If I had driven straight towards the bridge I would be shot at as there is no where for me to swerve as it became obvious after being chased by us for 10-15 minutes they were going to fight as as seen by the reporting party aiming his shotgun at us instead of surrendering with his hands up. If I reversed I would have been going low speed and shot at. For my characters safety and my allies my best course of action was to run over the reporting party who was aiming his shotgun at my allies and then go down a windy road and off road to increase are odds of survival for the 3 of us in the contender. I feel I made a decision that follows VDM rules and Non-RP rules in this situation in the few seconds I had to think. You can even see me slow down as I arrive to not ram the player with the shotgun as I wanted to make sure it wasn't an active gun fight. The reporting party prior to hopping out here had led us down in to right lake chop shop npc where the warrener hovered above at the dirt road an obvious ambush attempt. You can see me actively slow down when I arrive making sure an active shootout isn't in progress just to make sure I don't break VDM as I know I can't use a car during an active shootout to ram. After seeing no one is out of cars but the reporting party who is aiming his shotgun at my allies than swapping his aim to me when I drive towards him for the ram. Please point out who were your allies in this situation. My allies in this situation was Irish as I am in that gang, The ones mattering the most being the green issi, white retinue mk2, white blista compact and the black bike the reporting party aims at prior to aiming at me when I go for the ram after I had slowed down to make sure it wasn't an active shootout. At no point in my pov do you see gunshots or hear gun shots the reporting party claims he was shooting but was most likely bugged or desynced cause he just wasn't in my pov and I don't see why he would lie about that. We chased the reporting party from Chilli to Braddock's he met the warrener at Braddock's we chased the elegy out of Braddock's and watched the warrener go towards catfish raod than head towards grapeseed with none of us following them. They interjected and risked there lives for a complete stranger when they could have just left as we only chased the Elegy for roaming labs with a shotgun? Skiperz Posted May 31, 2022 Report Share Posted May 31, 2022 REPORT DENIED ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― After our deliberations, we’ve concluded that this report will be denied for the following reason(s): After reviewing the reported party statement, we found that you were already in an escalated situation and were hostile enough against one another. From the provided footage, the reported party was taken by surprise into an ambush as you and your friends setup. The only routes were either through you or through the 4 stacked vehicle and to be honest, they made the right call by choosing the least risky route as if they had decided to go offroad, they might have risked themselves flipping within you and your allies reach. I understand that ramming in a shootout is considered invalid but however, in this situation, they had no escape route and this was the only way they could save themselves or at least buy themselves some time. ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― This decision is final.
