Player(s) being reported: ID 119
Date of interaction reported: 22/05/2022.
Unix time stamp from HUD: 1653236405.

Your character name: Oli Volkov.
Other player(s) involved: Lance Slash, Jimmey Wu and Sarah Shao

Specific rule(s) broken:

Non-Roleplay behavior is considered as actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay. It's difficult to interpret or understand what good roleplay can be sometimes, and we aim to steer players in the direction we want them to go through our server rules. Players are welcome to speak to staff for guidance in regard to roleplay. Some examples (not exhaustive) of Non-RP:

  • Ignoring Roleplay
  • Doing wheelies on motorcycles in chases or in other situations where the speed grants an advantage over others. (The speed boost from doing wheelies in GTA 5 is unrealistic thus it's not allowed in situations where the speed is an advantage over others). Leaning forward is fine.
  • Baiting Government Services without proper IC motive. (For example, bank robbers have IC motive to bait police if they want to get their attention away from the bank they are wanting to rob).
  • Not roleplaying the effects of being tazed more than once unless there are RP factors involved.
  • Asking to be killed or forcing your own death. (Players are not allowed to force their death, they only die when they bleed out by the script).
  • Unrealistic Stunt Jumping
  • Misusing Expensive Vehicles
  • Using Script Work Vehicles for other purposes than the intended job.
  • Submerging any vehicle in water intentionally.
  • Swimming for an unrealistic amount of time in a chase. Always have a goal when you swim in a chase, don't just swim out to the ocean.
  • Stealing from / tampering with an OOC F4 Menu.
  • Using a vehicle to block one-way entry/exits of e.g., banks and stores.
  • Government-funded faction members must go off duty when not performing faction duties IC.
Fear Roleplay (FRP)

Fear Roleplay is the concept of showing appropriate care and concern to preserve your character's safety and life. We aim for balanced gameplay through this rule, and it may not be representative of real life at times.

Players whose life is in direct danger must RP adequate fear and comply with demands given to them. Direct danger could mean, for example, a gun aimed at your head or at you from close vicinity, by any player.

If an attacker lowers their weapon to type, victims who were under fear RP remain as so.

A player is not showing proper fear if they run while on foot/bike or in an unpowered vehicle and a weapon is aimed at them at close range, or if they drive into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover or fleeing with it.

A player has the option to react if they are in a powered vehicle, if they already have a weapon drawn facing their attacker, or if their attacker's view is obstructed by an object.

How did the player break the rule(s)?  (300 words maximum)\
ID 119 decided it was a good idea for him to go check labs using a work vehicle. He also decided to go all the way into the lab even after we were all standing the middle, with our guns out, showing no fear for his life. The player then ran away and called/informed cops about what have happened, causing the 4 of us to get arrested, lose our belongings and spend time in jail.

The player was later informed that he was getting reported.

Hello, I did  not use that job vehicle to rob, pick plants, etc, i do it because i had no 6666 calls and sometimes i find dead bodies at labs.

The initial reason for entering that drug lab was to look for some dead bodies, i did not steal or insulted anybody i was minding my own business and they pulled their guns at me and i called the cops.

I belive the reason for this report is revenge & jealousy because they went to jail.

If i did something bad by looking for some dead bodies i apologise and i accept my punishment.

Have a nice day.

After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following player(s):

  • David_Theangel (119) - Spoken to about NRP | Entering an occupied drug lab area without a realistic reason while performing a freelance job

To explain the outcome, I would like to focus on the provided evidence first.
The (valid) provided evidence shows a situation where Sarah_Shao is located at the Chiliad drug lab area, planting. A group of at least five other players can be seen a little further away, but clearly visible. While Sarah_Shao is planting, David_Theangel (119) appears in the footage. David_Theangel would be driving a Romero Hearse, provided by the coroner freelance job. David_Theangel drives with the vehicle all the way till the end of the path in the drug lab area and turns around, hitting a few objects including a vehicle (Novak). As David_Theangel takes a moment to properly turn the vehicle around, another player eventually approaches David_Theangel and can be heard saying "Get out" multiple times while performing a combat roll with a weapon equipped. David_Theangel speeds away while already having the vehicle turned to the right direction, more people of the group facing David_Theangel, some of the people also having a weapon equipped. The radio from Sarah_Shao can be heard. Players state that the cops will be called and that they need to leave. Shortly after that, the footage ends.

David_Theangel has been requested to explain why a decision was made to head to the drug lab area in the scripted job vehicle and what the initial reason was for the player to enter this area.
David_Theangel stated that the initial reason for heading in this area was to look for dead bodies (which are a source of money for the coroner job) and there were no calls to respond to. The player also stated that there was no plan on using the scripted job vehicle to eventually rob, pick plants or do anything else in the area.

After going through player logs, we confirmed that David_Theangel called for police after being approached by the players with weapons.

We expect players to not perform any actions that are considered unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay. Although we understand that dead bodies are the source of income for the coroner job, that does not mean a player should enter such area's purely with the reason that sometimes dead bodies can be found in such area. Players should expect hostile behavior in these area's and not expect any extra protection because they perform a freelance job. The coroner freelance job allows the player to perform the job without being required to enter certain area's. However, that does not mean that when there are no calls to respond to, it is considered realistic for a freelance job worker to enter these area's. This should be avoided unless specifically being called for this. David_Theangel stated that sometimes dead bodies can be found in this area as well, also indicating that the player is aware of how dangerous this area is.
For the above mentioned reason, we have decided to give David_Theangel the information and opportunity to learn from this report.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
