However, we failed to find any OOC consent per the rule as it is considered disgusting roleplay. Have you at any time attempted to gain consent and what kind of RP sense for you to use it and specifically in this situation. The word I said was "N**ga" its a word that is in my regular vocabulary as a African-American individual, I had spoke with staff and they told me to not say the "Hard R" which i never said in the lifetime of me playing with the community, and mentioning ethnic groups and "LGBTQ" slurs without consent... I personally don't think its a racial slur as the definition i say it is more so "guy" or "person"... No clue why i also got a warning for saying "N**ga" but i can also understand the other parts of it... but this is what i personally think... This whole thing started when we where at Road working HQ, some guy came up to one of the Underground members and told him his bike got stolen and asked for help finding it, his bike is the blue one he is riding around in the video, we all had faster bikes/vehicles than him so we started searching for it, the main reason I was helping is because the same guy left his bike unlocked and running at the bank and someone came up and stole it, this guy has been getting his bike stolen a lot lately and I felt bad so I wanted to help. we where driving around the city and me and one of the other people decided to drive up to paleto to see if we could find him up there on our way up the owner was able to ping the bike and it was in fact in paleto, we get up there and that's when the chase begins, he was driving the other direction from us so we turn around and start chasing him, he doesn't show it in the video but he stopped and me and one other person stopped and I asked him, "is this your bike or did you steal it", he says it isn't his bike, so at that point I know this is the stolen bike and I step off the bike, pull my gun and point it to his head, not shooting once, he drives away, at this time it was late and I wasn't using VOIP so I didn't give verbal demands, I thought this over and realized I should have typed out the, "step off the bike and put your hands up" then pulled the gun, we start chasing him after that we lose him because I took a corner to sharp and crashed and it messed up the other guy, the other group of people we had found him and stopped him, I don't know what they said to him because I got there late but they did tell him to get off the bike it wasn't his and he just drove away, we didn't have guns pointed at him when that was said, we chase him more and eventually we get to the beginning of the clip, the reason I shot was obvious I was taking tires, he told me in game "you shot me twice that's DM save pov I am reporting you" VIA /pm, you can clearly see none of my bullets hit him. this chase went on for awhile we told him multiple times to stop and get off the bike I myself had pointed a gun at him twice without giving demands because it was late and I wasn't using VOIP, but I still had a gun to his head. You can also see multiple times in the video he broke FRP we had given him demands to get on his knees and he continued to stand up while we where trying to RP with him. also ID 49 is new to the server he has never done RP like this before so we where trying to help him as much as possible, in the middle of RP the guy we had on his knees would instead of responding to RP complain about or criticize the other guys RP. vexanxd Posted May 25, 2022 Report Share Posted May 25, 2022 Hi, I was a part of this situation, and I think I can give clarity that isn't being given. The beginning of this situation was Liam stealing a vehicle. At the time, myself, another member of Underground, 2 members of cupids, and the man whose bike was stolen all had planned to rob stores. Upon getting the the incident management HQ and leaving the job, the man informed us that his bike was stolen. For the next 20ish minutes were were searching the map for it as he was pinging his bike. Myself and ID 168 were heading towards Paleto to look for it when the owner got a ping at Dancing Disco. We floored it to Paleto and found him. We stepped off our bikes and pulled on him, and he drove away. This led to all of our side of the report following the bike and giving demands to get off. At some point, ID 168 decided to shoot out the tires of the bike with permission of the owner, given that we weren't too far from Bayview. I join them after getting the cone and /w to ID 19 about doing illegal things. Coincidentally, ID 42 just openly says he is looking to get into the same thing. 0:05:10 I knew two Cupids, ID 14 & 168, were on the jobsite with me as I had spoken with them previously on another jobsite so I thought it would be a good gang relationship builder and decided to invite them. They decided to join us in robbing stores with ID 42. 0:09:00 We are all clocking off and ID 42 runs up saying someone stole his Bati motorcycle and took off with it. The lead into a 39 minute long search for the bike with all of us on the same radio frequency. My thoughts were maybe this guy was going to his personal chop and we might be able to find it and possibly take it. 00:48:38 You can hear ID 42 saying across the radio that he was able to ping the Bati at Dancing Disco gas station in Paleto. We co-ordinate to pinch them from both sides. 00:53:30 You can see ID 53 racing away from Paleto back towards the city. I turned around and followed them back to the hole in the wall where they were stopped. I verified that it was indeed a Bati, which my character owns so he would know, and I try and stall 53 by commenting on his shoes so my friends could arrive. ID 53 turns and runs as soon as my allies arrive leading into another chase, thankfully much shorter, through Paleto. 00:56:29 ID 53 had lost me for a moment, but I found him with ID 31 on the back of the Bati. I follow them to confirm the identity of the driver and make sure it was the same person and they slammed on their brakes. I tried to pin them into a dead end but they got away and I got stuck. At that point, the tires were shot out and ID 53 drives the bike passed Bay View and into a ditch where we then walk them to the back of the barn. ID 31 happened to have my number from working on the incident command job sites and expressing the desire to chop so he called me and asked me not to kill his friend. I told him we were not looking to do that and just wanted to teach him a lesson. Eventually, 31 ran up to where I was as I was watching the bikes on the road. He asked me not to hurt ID 53 and to give him the items he just gave ID 53. He then came back to the barn after ID 19 and I invited him back. 1:10:57 You can see ID31 open his phone and make a call and just walk away. It took 3 of us with guns drawn for him to stop and come back. He then uses /b to say we are force RPing when we are simply trying to educate ID 42 on how to do all the actions and RP it out. They were new to the city so it was a learning experience. After we were done we left the area and went to Bay View to get ID 42's bike repaired, which we paid for because it was us who shot his tires. I was under the understanding that this would be a simple humiliation moment to teach someone not to touch expensive bikes that they do not own. This coming from someone who is in a motorcycle heavy gang not wanting his bike to be touched. We were trying to walk ID 42 through how to RP this and the commands for how to frisk, rob, and then eventually cut the man's hair bald. I did mention at 1:07:46 that the only one who had any IC reason to take any clothes was the owner of the bike that was stolen, ID 42. I knew ID 42 wanted the man's hoodie but looking back I do see that he did take ID 53's pants as well. So this can be a learning lesson for both sides. All in all I feel that the fact that the driver knew we were chasing him, had us verbally say that was not his Bati, and that he lead us on almost and hours worth of a chase was enough of a reason to shoot the tires. The owner of the bike was with us, we confirmed it was their bike, and the driver ran multiple times so we were at out last resort. We never intended to shoot to kill and only ever shot to stop the vehicle's mobility. This can be confirmed throughout the whole video where we talked about what we would do when we got the thief. I do not think this is a petty report myself and rather a case of a newer player who did not understand the whole scope of what was going on. From their angle, it may have looked like 5 guys trying to kill them for no reason. However, there was plenty of reason for us to not kill him but stop him and humiliate him. I felt like this was a great RP experience and a bonding moment between the UG and the Cupids along with a potential new recruit. If the reporting party felt like this interaction caused them to have a negative RP experience, then I am sorry for that. They just happened to steal the wrong bike and paid for it. It is important to understand that such slurs can be offensive to someone IRL and that they do not have to tolerate your usage of it at their own comfort. As much as we understand that this is all fun and giggles, but we also aim to maintain a respectful and enjoyable environment within a game so that everyone can safely enjoy it. This also goes for the gross RP you have conducted of "pissing" on someone. As mentioned, you must seek permission before conducting any gross RP from all parties involved, whether it is your allies or the victim(s) of said RP. It is your duty to ensure you have received permission from everyone and if one does not agree to it, then it is advised to find another approach for your RP. Pakayoko_Bossman (ID 31) - FRP Punishment | Even tho you were not majorly involved in the situation itself and you were not the primary focus, but however, you have decided to stand up while being surrounded by gunmen and walk away with a phone call ignoring all their commands and orders for a few moments before coming back to your senses. With your record, we will be going to the extent of full punishment for the fact this is not the first time you've had a run in with our rules and staff. Please in the future be mindful of your character's safety and the best way of keeping it out of harm and well, for such incident, you could have been easily shot down and no one to be blamed but yourself. Jerrald_Bohannon (ID 30) - NRP Punishment & Warning for gross RP | It was unclear what your intensions were from the reporting party footage but from your footage, you're seen ramming your bike into their in an attempt to slow them down. We need you to understand that not because GTA physics allow you to bounce off like that means you can do it; realistically if you were to attempt such maneuver, you'd end up in a deadly crash. Please be mindful of the difference between GTA mechanics and realism factors as it plays a major role in our roleplay scenarios. We also like to shift your attention to the fact you suggested "Gross RP" to ID 49 (Richard_Milly) of "pissing" on someone. As we understand it was not you who carried out the action, but please understand that such RP must be done with consent beforehand not just promptly because you felt like hamulating someone. Billy_Valentine (ID 168) - DM Punishment | First of all, DM rights are given when someone harms you in any way or shape that DIRECTLY affect you or fail to follow your direct demand while being in a life-threatening situation. In this instance, the bike robbery was of someone that you "worked with" and that does not grant you DM rights in itself. And you so called "Aiming the gun at them" without saying a single word does not warrant DM rights, as you have simply did not give them any demands to follow and they failed to do such. Also, shooting someone's tires is just as much as DM as you shooting them as it directly affects them and cripples their RP to the extent of your advantage. We need you in the future to ensure you have engaged the other party in RP and issued them valid demands to follow then escalate it to usage of deadly force instead of assuming they know what a gun aim means. Shawn_Valentine (ID 14) - Punishment for Racial Slurs | Playing the victim card is not going to save you. You have access to the rules as pretty much as everyone else and it is your responsibility to understand them and make sure you're following them to the full extent. Taking screenshots of other staff members out of context is not going to do you any good either as they have no relation to this situation whatsoever. Such slurs are disliked by players and it seems you were already spoken to about this and for that, you will be receiving a full punishment for it. Please be mindful that such slurs can and do offend some players on an OOC levels and that's why it is not allowed to be used without consent for the fact we aim to keep the environment safe and enjoyable for everyone; it is the same concept of gross and erotic roleplays. Refer to the rule below and take this time to ensure you are well educated on all of our rules. Quote Usage of ethnic and/or LGBT+ related slurs is considered disgusting roleplay and all parties involved must give prior OOC consent before it can be done.
