NotOnlyAce
Player(s) being reported: ID86 Date of interaction reported: 18/MAY/2022 Unix time stamp from HUD: Your character name: Ace Butoslav Other player(s) involved: Jaxon Nash, Jessica Nash Specific rule(s) broken: Disconnecting/Crashing from Active Roleplay Scenarios - Combat Logging When a game crash/disconnect occurs, players must make an effort to contact the involved players or staff. Most commonly, this is done on Eclipse RP's official discord server, in the #crash-reports channel. If players do not have access to discord, they should try to contact the staff through the forums, or the players involved if they know them. Players who crash from a police situation such as a chase will be charged and put in prison by admin staff. When a player returns from a game crash/disconnect, all players involved must be given the same opportunities they held prior. Players should not instigate situations they do not have time to play through. If a player is chased, they must wait 15 minutes before they can log out of the game. This does not apply if the player chasing is aware of the location of the chased player, thus it may be in the best interest of the player to submit an in-game report to get staff confirmation on whether they can log out or not. How did the player break the rule(s)? (300 words maximum) At 01:30 you can see my unit passing by an active ATM robbery. I attempted to apprehend the suspect, but the reported party decided it's in his best interest to logout of the game. He has been asked if he will be returning in #crash-report channel, but there were no responses. Evidence of rule breach

Kraah
PLAYER REPORT DENIED Thank you for your patience while this report was under review. After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it, we have decided to deny this report, and conclude the following; The evidence in this report shows Nathaniel_Higgins disconnected from an active RP scenario when members of the police department were attempting to arrest him, and Nathaniel_Higgins was reported for combat logging. Server rules state that players must make an effort to contact involved players or staff after a crash/disconnect. Obviously the preferred method of doing so is via the ECRP official Discord in the #crash-reports channel, which Nathaniel_Higgins did not do. In response to this inquiry, Nathaniel_Higgins provided proof of making notification in his faction's discord of the disconnect due to a loss of Internet, and an attempt to return to game 16 minutes later. The time stamps in the provided evidence matches up with the UNIX timestamp from this report, and was verified by staff. Nathaniel_Higgins disconnected from the game at 2:35PM, and returned at 2:53PM, and staff verified Nathaniel_Higgins immediately attempted to reach out to staff for guidance through the /report system. Therefore, Nathaniel_Higgins has fulfilled all obligations he has according to the rules, and therefore will not be receiving any punishments. Nathaniel_Higgins, we would strongly encourage that you get access to the ECRP Discord channels to avoid this issue in the future. Follow the steps in the ECRP discord to verify your account, so that you can access the ECRP Discord. If you have any issues, please reach out to someone for assistance.
