Unknown Player(s) Report

Recommended Posts

Player(s) being reported: Unknown
Date of interaction reported: 17/05/2022
Unix time stamp from HUD: I don't know exactly when the incident took place thus I am leaving this N/A

Your character name: Ramiz_Bashkimi
Other player(s) involved: Sico_Bashkimi

Specific rule(s) broken
Robberies should be conducted in a realistic manner with a reasonable in-character motive. Location, time of day, and realistic population should all be considered prior to a robbery. Players should not conduct minor robberies in situations with high risk. Players should consider the risk vs reward of the robbery and utilize secluded areas where necessary to avoid witnesses.

How did the player break the rule(s)?  (300 words maximum)\
I had just been unbanned about 5-6 hours before the raid on my apartment took place, I was banned for four months and thus I obviously was not in my apartment for a significant period of time, making the likely-hood of someone finding valid reasoning to raid it very improbable. I'm not sure when exactly it was raided, but I logged on around an hour ago to see all of my items missing. Every single safe was empty and it just doesn't seem realistic to barge open into a random apartment with bolt-cutters and unlock every single safe in the entire property with no clue of what is inside - the risk and reward factor just does not seem to apply in this instance and thus I am creating this report.

Evidence of rule breach
I could show the screenshots of all of my safes empty however I think that would take too long so I request that admins can just check my apartment and see who took the items and what their reasoning was for doing so?

sorry to add to this topic, not 100% sure if its related but i too returned from a long break and found alot of my things missing from my apartment when it was impossible.

I was missing stuff in safes which i am in the process of writing a refund request for as this was what i was advised to do by an admin in the tech support section of the forum, but my immediate thought was that i was raided as it was stuff in safes that was gone.

i believe contents of my safe disappeared somewhere on the 19th/20th/21st/22nd March.

PLAYER REPORT DENIED

Thank you for submitting this player report @Mortem

First, welcome back to the Eclipse Roleplay Community.

Whilst your report was pending review, We went ahead and checked your logs and the dated timeframe you have given on this report.
However, we have found no rulebreaks for what you have described. There was no robberies being conducted to your character that breaks the Player Theft rules. In extention we have found the following:

  • It would appear that you unlocked, and entered the apartment but have forgotten to lock your doors before logging out, and unfortunately, others have taken this opportunity to it being unlocked with having either a group who have followed you, have been keeping watch or general opportunist to the doors being unlocked.

  • It would also appear that upon logging in, your character was able to enter the apartment and only after finding out that your storage were empty, that you had then locked the apartment.

This decision is final unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater that $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
