arstrophysics
Player(s) being reported: ID 126 Date of interaction reported: 15/MAY/2022 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1652651298 Your character name: Daph ODell Other player(s) involved: ID 168 Specific rule(s) broken: Rule 9- Non-Roleplay behavior is considered as actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay. Rule 15 - Robberies should be conducted in a realistic manner with a reasonable in-character motive. Location, time of day, and realistic population should all be considered prior to a robbery. Players should not conduct minor robberies in situations with high risk. Players should consider the risk vs reward of the robbery and utilize secluded areas where necessary to avoid witnesses. How did the player break the rule(s)? (300 words maximum) I was just given an empty heavy pistol and was returning to my place to store it when I noticed ID 126 in the area. Fearing he may attempt to rob me because of the heavy pistol clearly visible on my back, I opted to make it look like I was trying to go to a different apartment than the one I actually own. I got kinda stuck there, when he requests for me to put my hands up and then frisks me, taking the empty heavy pistol and then also taking all the money from my person. ID 168 walks into the complex while the robbery is taking place. I have no idea if he is associated with ID 126, but he comes back after the man robbing me leaves and gets his bicycle from the complex and then he quickly leaves as well. I feel this robbery was NRP for two reasons: 1. the complex would be RPly populated and it is broad daylight. Anyone could look out of their window and see this taking place, and 2. someone literally walked in on the robbery. Craig_Big
Right here we go , i was in these apartments looking for a house price to buy because I saw one on sale I believe in that complex. Anyways I had bf400 outside a fast getaway vehicle good for offroad. I didn't originally plan on robbing anyone it all sort of happened to be fair. I actually started to run away at first but then thought you know what mans got a bf400 and a mask on and a change of clothes. So i basically whipped out my gun pulled it and asked for some hands. Nothing was said in B chat to oppose what was happening. Both myself and her were masked she had a pistol I had a change of clothes and a bf400 parked outside that couldn't be seen by the individuals in the complexes. So in my head i would say it wasn't exactly breaking rules if I had a plan before doing it even if that plan was made up in like 5 seconds. I knew I could easily escape because of my bike and they were up to illegal activity anyway. In regards to metagaming i have no clue who that it is and if I did surely they would have came up alongside me. So yeah that is my response do what you wish. also after reading the report just quickly its not my fault someone walked in the robbery which i believe they classed under NRP I dont have eyes on the side of my head and didnt actually see the guy. Arrta
REPORT ACCEPTED ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following player(s): Craig_Big (126) - Spoken to about NRP - Committing a high risk low reward robbery in a public location. To explain the reasoning for this punishment lets first review the part of the public robbery rule that impacted this decision. Robberies should be conducted in a realistic manner with a reasonable in-character motive. Location, time of day, and realistic population should all be considered prior to a robbery. Players should not conduct minor robberies in situations with high risk. Players should consider the risk vs reward of the robbery and utilize secluded areas where necessary to avoid witnesses. In the evidence provided you can be seen in the apartment complex before the arrival of the reporting party. From here we observe that you follow her and hold her up seemingly just because she arrived. It can also be observed that it is mid morning with lots of daylight and in a relatively public location. Based on the initial evidence, this appears to be what we call a random robbery. This is where someone hangs around a location and holds up the first person they see. When responding to the request for your point of view, you did little to dispel this initial observation. You stated that you were there looking at an apartment, and you didn’t immediately specify a motive. However, in the middle of one of your sentences you stated, “... she had a pistol …” You also said that, “I didn't originally plan on robbing anyone it all sort of happened to be fair.” and then, “... I had a plan before doing it even if that plan was made up in like 5 seconds.” Since you were unaware she was carrying $24,000 on her, your response makes it appear to us that you decided at the spur of the moment to conduct a high risk low reward robbery in a public location, in broad daylight, on an individual with a firearm, for the sole reason of stealing that firearm. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format. This report will now be locked and archived. Regards, Senior Moderator Arrta & Senior Supports Alexx & Gataki
