Potential Backup Breach

i came to sealabs to check what was going on there and i see two dragons. emma volkov id 30 comes up to me with hands up saying were not here to hurt you. then creed instantly flies in i then begin to talk to id 85 and hes trying to convince me that he is not associated with dragons and is asking for a ride. he then pulls out his gun and gives me demands while im on my bike and i run away. he then proceeds to shoot me while running which is a rule breach because there was no proper escalations just shot me over demands. while running away another creed member [id 7] flies into sealabs crashing into me and i get injured on the side of sealabs entrance he instantly radios it in and [id 85] comes to loot my body i think this is potential backup breach because the second shots were fired creed comes flying into sea labs and it is known that shenzen and creed have a good relationship and are seen together a lot.

Hello and thank you for taking this report. I was going down to sealabs to plant and then started to talk with the two dragons Emma and Kon as I just drove in. Marcel gave demands to the reporting party and started to shoot him. The reporting party fled the scene and on his way out crashed into another vehicle and got injured. Marcel went up and looted him. Marcel is not even in Shenzhen and I was not affiliated with him at all nor on frequency with him so I have no idea what is backup breach here. The "other creed member" who flew in is not a creed member so once again I have no idea what the backup breach is within this report.

i do feel like i have shown proper regards for my players life knowing that there were dragons there had me already on edge and ready to flee at any given moment seeing that no one else had there guns pulled out except id 83 gave me even more confidence that i would be able to make it out safely on top of that i knew id 83 did not have any vehicle around ensuring if i did flee there was no possible way he could have chased me with my vehicle already facing the opposite direction and engine on i knew odds were in my favor to get away

Hello,

It has come to my attention that I have misunderstood the new ruling in today's day and age. It has been a while since I have been on the server, since then the DM rules have obviously altered. After speaking to multiple people and checking the rulebook I have now found out that you cannot shoot people after giving demands and that you need proper escalation. I am sorry to the reporting party for ruining their gameplay and immersion in this scenario. I have now learned from this and will make sure not to do it again.

thanks!

REPORT DENIED
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

After our deliberations, we’ve concluded that this report will be denied for the following reason(s):

  • As shown in the footage provided, we can see the reported party attempting to get you out of the vehicle using other means than a weapon, where you had multiple chances to leave the area, instead your decided to linger around and continue to conversate with them. Based on your movement "Driving away every time they approach again" you knew there is a possibility that they would do something yet again you decided to stay. Based on that we are ruling DM out of the question.

  • You then were seen driving away under gunpoint as you heard the demands and saw the weapon. I would note down that you must in the future show appropriate fear for your character, no matter what you interoperate the rules at the time, or if you think they are breaking any. As also can be seen you have been shot in the back a few times because you decided to run.

  • As for the backup breach issue, based on the responses and the lack of evidence to support any rule breach, thus I will be disregarding that.

―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――

This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you disagree with the outcome of this report, please file an appeal following the appeal guidelines and format.

Regards,
Agent69 & Capone
