For best reading experience it is recommended to play the following song while viewing the LS Vagos faction thread:

Overview

  • The Los Santos Vagos street gang was formed in Jamestown St. in Los Santos in the early 1950s. The Vagos were seen as a Latino progress movement to improve quality in immigrant families overcoming racial discrimination.

Subdivisions and size

  • Founded with the philosophy of "overcoming racial prejudice" and creating an organization of "Cholos" and "Cholas," the Vagos evolved into a criminal enterprise operating throughout the Los Santos under two umbrella factions—Motherland, also known as KMC (King Manifesto and Constitution). All members of the gang identify as Vagos. Only today individuals of any nationality may be accepted as the Vagos members. Initiation is needed.

Motherland faction

  • Los Santos Vagos also identifies themselves as "Almighty Los Santos Vagos Nation (ALSVN)," and makes up more than 160 structured chapters operating in 3 cities. The membership of the Vagos in Los Santos is estimated to be 20-50.

THE LION OF THE ALSVN

line.png

The 1st Crown (El Jefe) is the brain of the Lion and the Nation. He is the thinker for the other crowns and his brothers and sisters.

The 2nd Crown is the eyes and ears of the Nation. He is the one who protects the brain from being destroyed by anyone. No one is allowed to reach the brain unless through the chain of command.

The 3rd Crown is the right paw of the Lion. When the Lion senses trouble from 15 feet away, his right paw turns inward 2 ½ degrees, forming a diamond. When the Lion does this he is representing a defiant position which represents the warlord of the Nation.

The 4th Crown is the hair that runs down from his head down through his back right down to his tail. Because a Lion’s tail is always dragging on the floor, the tail senses danger and alerts the rest of the Lion who in turn alerts the 1st Crown that there is danger approaching.

The 5th Crown is the body of the Lion. He is most important because he is the teacher and adviser for the other Crowns and the rest of the body. Without him, the body cannot function.

RANGOS

line.png

El Traficante De DrogasThis is a loyal member and has helped the Vagos for years NEVER dis-respect him, he's like the El Jefe's Vago son.

El Traficante De ArmasHas "Put in work" for the gang, and shown true faith for the barrio. Gringo, decides about gun business.

El Ladrón Has gained some respect in the barrio, but still trying to prove themselves. A classic mugger, would rob people even for $500.

Cholo This is a low ranking member who just passed their test and is accepted into Vagos, he doesn't give orders.

Hood Rat - Still doesn't have a sign since he is a fresh meat. These are the lowest rank in Vagos, don't give orders and are not to be trusted.

Organizational structure

  • The Vagos have a hierarchical organizational structure: they have numerous "ranks" or "rangos" across the country, which adhere to a regional, state, and a national system. In Los Santos, they have slightly different rules about the structure such as Crowns. The Council sets rules and regulations and holds disciplinary hearings.

Discipline

  • When any member believes that another member has violated a regulation, they begin the disciplinary process by submitting a Procedures for Violation Form. This form includes a variety of information about the allegation including the violation, the version of the accused, and members present or other witnesses. If the member is found to be guilty of the violation at their Locos hearing, they may be subject to a range of penalties depending on the severity of the offense or executed.

Non-Corporal Punishments

Probation – for a period ranging between two days and two weeks, can be imposed in addition to other punishments

Fines (Multas) – may also be used as a way to recoup the expense of gang property when it is destroyed or lost by a member

Stripping – the member is stripped of their rank and titles, unlikely to ever rise to their previous rank again

Suspension – the member is stripped of all offices and duties, is not permitted to wear their colors, and is addressed as a novice

Community service – particular assignments made on a case-by-case basis

Corporal Punishments

B.O.S. (Beat on sight) – the beating of the undetermined length of time

Three-minute physical – three-minute beating by at least three members

Five-minute physical – five-minute beating by five members

T.O.S. (Terminate on sight) – death

Markings

  • The Vagos colors are yellow. Gang markings consist of a 5 or 3-point "sacred crown," writings of V, LSV, ALSVN abbreviations (or the whole words); and drawings of the Virgin Marry. Vagos symbolism is usually accompanied with the name and number of the rango, region or city of the gang.

Bloodline Los Santos Vagos

  • Bloodline LS Vagos are the same as Eastside Vagos. LS Vagos have different chapters in almost every city in the United States of America all chapters report to the motherland Los Santos.

HISTORY

line.png

In the early 1980s, to avoid imprisonment for his criminal activities in Los Santos, Pedro Merazzo (a.k.a. Loco P) fled to Los Santos. Soon after arriving in Los Santos, Pedro was arrested and convicted of murdering his girlfriend. In 1986, while in prison, Pedro started his own chapter of the LS Vagos known as the Locos. He designated himself as "Loco" of the state of Los Santos. In 1995 Juan White (a.k.a. Cholo J) was designated "Cholo" of Los Santos and Sandy Shores, and the ALSVN once again began a transformation.

Street gang: 1986–1995

From 1986 to the internal power struggle that erupted in 1994, the ALSVN solidified its role as a gang through crimes such as murder, store robberies, and drug trafficking charges.

In 1991, Pedro was returned to prison after a short release for parole violations stemming from the receipt of stolen goods. However, Pedro continued to guide the ALSVN members, who now numbered about 40, both incarcerated and free. In 1994, with the rapid growth of the Vagos, an internal power struggle erupted and violence within the Cholos ensued. Between June 1993 and February 1994, seven Vagos were murdered. Following the outbreaks of internal gang violence, Loco P and 19 others were charged with murder and drug trafficking; the indictments ended in 1995 with 5 Cholos and 1 Chola indicted under the RICO Act.

The details of the charges against Pedro were later revealed: Pedro was charged with ordering the killing of William (Lil Man) Hernandez. Hernandez was taken to an abandoned LS apartment where he was strangled, decapitated, mutilated and his corpse set on fire. Although Pedro was in prison, the government later alleged he had ordered a TOS ("Terminate On Sight") to all Vagos for the murder of Hernandez. This letter and many others were how Pedro was initially linked to three murders on the streets of Los Santos; testimony from former Cholos was used as further evidence of the orders. The letters had been copied and stored by the LS Department of Corrections, who was not aware of the significance of the letters until a federal task force was formed that linked homicide investigators from the LSPD and FIB agents.

Reformation: 1996–1999

In 1996, following the trial of Pedro Merazzo, Juan White, who was recently blessed as the Cholo, kneeled with other Vagos in front of the Federal District Court in Manhattan and is quoted as stating, "It's time for a fresh start... Now they can't hold our past against us." 1996 is believed to be the beginning of the ALSVN's transformation from a street gang to a "street organization."

Vagos Cholos and Cholas began appearing en masse at political demonstrations in support of the Latino community. To further its transformation and efforts to legitimize, the organization began to hold its monthly meetings (universals) at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in West Vinewood. At this time, the membership of the Vagos is believed to have swelled to 10 incarcerated and 30 free. The monthly universals drew an attendance of 10-50 regularly. Internal changes to the organization began to take place as White amended the ALSVN manifesto to include parliamentary elections and new procedures for handling inter-organizational grievances and removing death as a possible punishment, replacing it with "vanishing", the act of being banished from the movement.

For the ALSVN, 1997 began with Pedro being sentenced to the harshest penalty passed down since World War II. Pedro was sentenced to 250 years in prison, the first 45 to be spent in solitary confinement. He was a close friend of criminal (YACS) member Pavle Stanimirovic writes about it as he witnessed this brutality in Solitary confinement. The other 4 members were sentenced to an average of 20 years in prison for their roles in the crimes. The year would bring further legal troubles as Fernandez and 6 others are arrested in a raid in the Lower East Side and charged with disorderly conduct. The Special Commissioner of Investigation for Schools soon after charges the ALSVN with infiltrating the school system; a school security guard with five years of service was dismissed on charges of unprofessional conduct for his association with the Vagos. The year came to a close with White being arrested in December by the FIB for domestic abuse.

The pending charges against White were dropped in early 1998. Following the release of White, a joint operation of the FIB, Los Santos Police Department (LSPD), Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS), LS Police and the Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) comes to a close with the arrests of 11 suspected ALSVN members. The Vagos leadership insists over half of those arrested are not members. The operation, dubbed Operation Locos, cost the city over one million dollars and took 19 months to complete.

White was released after four days on $40,000 bail, which was paid for by contributions from community members must mandatory pay their dues collected every week that goes into the "Ese" Box that the treasurer would be in charge of collecting. Over half of the arrested were charged with misdemeanors, other were charged with weapons possession and drug trafficking. White was eventually permitted, though on house arrest, to attend monthly universal meetings. It was during his time on house arrest that the Cholas underwent a shakeup in leadership, dismissing many of the leaders in order to bring in more politically focused members.

In 1998, Juan White pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sell and distribute heroin. In 1999, he was sentenced to 13 years in prison, which he began serving at Los Santos Penitentiary and was placed in solitary confinement. He was eventually transferred again and placed in general population. He has since been released.

Los Santos Vagos

LS Vagos is a street gang founded in Los Santos. The gang is widely known for its rivalry with The Families. They are identified by the yellow color worn by their members and by particular gang symbols, including distinctive hand signs. LS Vagos is made up of various sub-groups known as "rangos" between which significant differences exist such as colors, clothing, and operations, and political ideas which may be in open conflict with each other. Since their creation, the Vagos gang has branched out throughout the Cities.

Big J

20180925235907_1.thumb.jpg.c1cb7a39fae83b4947baa4cf20900bef.jpg

Big J was born in Los Santos in the year of 1990, he was born into a black community, where the majority were poor, like other black males in the community, he was looking for a place to call home. He didn't have a father so he didn't have any discipline he ran on the streets and did whatever he wanted. Big J smoked tons of weed and start dealing as a form to make money to help himself live, he was eventually one of the richest kids in the area, until a big black dude with a gun came up and jacked all his dope and made him show him where he stashed his money. After all that he went through he lost all his stuff, he eventually looked towards the Bloods for protection, and then finally joined. He was excited to be a part of a family that respected him. He was all around East Los Santos and he was making money like crazy, one day another black male came up and with a glock and tried to jack him, he pulled out a gun and killed the guy, later that day he got arrested. He was sent to a juvenile detention center for 5 years. He met up with his cousin Eddie in the center and started talking. They were both getting out in the same month so they were going to chill after they got out.

Joey Mazzola

(Hidden from publicity, real Gringo)

Joey Mazzola was born in Los Santos in the year of 1989, he was born into the same black community as Big J, they would talk a little here and there but not much. Like Big J he was in the drug business he would sell drugs just to make a living. Eventually, he got caught and was sent to the same juvenile detention center as Big J. They met up and started talking. They were both affiliated with the Vagos and were both there with the same mindset, make money and be the best. When they were released in June of 2009, they both were back on the streets with nothing. They eventually got a phone and started selling drugs again.

REBIRTH

line.png

Los Santos Vagos was reborn by, Big J. The set was made in Los Santos, in the year 2018. Big J was all around East Los Santos looking for more members to roll with LS Vagos and represent. They eventually started ruling the whole east side of Los Santos, The Families were starting to get jealous and moved into the east, Vagos were pissed, there were gang wars rolling out everywhere, there were people dying left and right and Big J and Joey were all in the middle of it. They eventually moved away from the hot area and moved more North East to get away from all the violence, and to start all over again. Big J moved into a house and Joey moved into a house away, they both were still banging daily, and always looking for new members. To get into the Vagos the new members would go through a vicious beating just to get the respect from there cholos, after the beating, they would say welcome Ese and they were officially a part of the new craze. J and Joey were finding out this was a way better place to move to, there were crack fiends that wanted drugs, they got tons of money, tons of bitches, and on top of that, they were ruling the biggest set in East Los Santos.

WHAT IS IT LIKE BEING A VAGO

line.png

For the most part, Vagos are living day by day, getting high and not thinking about problems in the past. Jamestown is the place where you will find them posted up, They are always round the El barrio protecting what they own and love, and for the most part, they are partying. When there is no parties, they are spray painting their tags around Jamestown. Nobody really dares to touch them, since at the moment they have established connections with a couple local mafias and cartels that are supplying heavy weaponry. There was a recent dispute between gang members whether they should sell those guns on the streets or keep them for there own for possible shootouts and protection. Weaponry is mainly stored in homes and the trunks of Lowriders. Lowriders are Vagos true love. It’s common for them to have car meets showing off their shiny rims, glowing neons and hydraulics. Always in the Vagos yellow. If any bad company try to ruin any parties meets or activities hosted by Vagos, Vagos are and will act like savages, they are very passionate about what they do. They would break your ankles or make you eat excrement, they have even been known to humiliate enemies by making them perform fellatio on each other, to show who the dominant ones are. At this time Vagos are focusing on making sure no others are pushing drugs around the El barrio and surrounding areas, as they run the corners supplying 97% of the drugs to the population there. There is rumours in the city, the Vagos run their own drug routes and are apparently shipping drugs on the same fuel trucks that deliver fuel to “Vagos Gas”.

VAGOS GAS STATION

line.png

When Pedro Merazzo died 2018, his secret possesion of the gas station was revealed and it was decided that the only right decision is that the Gas Station should belong to one of his sons, Aron Merazzo. He chose him to take over the gas station as his records are clean. Once Aron got in possesion of the gas station, Big J and Louie Lane, started (getting Mexican Pipeline Fuel from Family back in Mexico) importing quality fuel from the Black Market (he doesn’t pay the taxes). The source stayed unknown to this day, and the money made is sent to the El barrio. This flow of legal money makes a choice to Vagos members and gives them a little hope for a better tomorrow. Before Pedro died, he told Aron about the dangers of police raiding the gas station, and showed him the (Mexican Pipeline) secret import route. It is being held a secret and is yet to be revealed to anyone else, and just maybe they are shipping the drugs in the same route as they are shipping the fuel...

The Vagos Code is the set of OOC rules Los Santos Vagos faction expects every member to adhere to at all times.

  • Heavy roleplay is expected from all members of the faction which means you are required to be in-character at all times and keep OOC chat to a minimum. We expect your character to have his or her own background story that you're able to roleplay in game.
  • We do not recruit members via OOC means, if you wish to join the faction you'll need to create a character and find us in-game on your own accord to initiate roleplay with our faction. Attempts to PM faction leaders or members to join the gang will result in immediate rejection.

  • Every faction member is expected to adhere to all faction rules and Eclipse RP server rules at all times. Violating Eclipse RP server rules may result in removal from the faction on an OOC level.

  • If a faction member is punished by an Eclipse RP server admin they're required to report it to the Los Santos Vagos faction leader with their explanation of the events and how they plan to avoid further issues.

  • Faction leader (Jefe) have the ability to initiate a CK of any the faction members if they deem necessary. A faction member will be notified of the CK upon being killed by a faction leader. In the case of the CK being carried out successfully, the faction member would be removed from the faction and the character would be effectively killed off from all past interaction with the gang.

I bumped into Big J a long time ago, can't even remember why, we bonded like brothers almost immediately, his great open-minded attitude and calm demeanor will definitely make this an attractive gang, especially to more timid players in ECRP. I love the theme, at one time I considered setting up a VERY similar gang, until the cartel was born.

Definitely a group to hang out with IC if you guys ever find them.

Best of luck J!

@Louie Lane I had a great bit of fun with you today, thank you for the fun roleplay! Thanks for the fun pursuit, the better conversations and the little bit of a shoot out! I would like to state that thus far I have had zero bad experiences with the VAGOS, and that is saying something as a cop we generally get people going straight to OOC, or complaining and threatening reports. I enjoyed my RP with you today Louie, Keep it up I like what your doing with your crew!
Then I hear an officer later processing a suspect talking about your RP while in prison, use the bathroom, you guys are creating RP that isn't about killing cops, I like it, Well done.!

Im the second in charge of the Vagos and let me tell you guys something, we may not be the strongest gang, the largest gang or even the most well armed gang, but we are all friends and enjoy doing things then just the casual run of the mill 5..4...1 shoot type rp, we hang out in our el barrio and throw parties and we are in process of setting things up like a poker night and all types of activities as well. This isn't the gang you look for if you just want action. We enjoy properly rping and doing many scenarios. I hope to see some people soon! our numbers are growing. Videos and pictures coming soon. We have been editing and waiting the correct time to drop it all.

Major thing is lack of 3rd tier gangs, where we would have conflicted interests if they were chilling at the hood close to ours so we could have a beef about something. I'm working on a couple of videos showcasing some criminal stuff, soon to come.

I've come across the Vagos multiple times this week and each time they provided an interesting RP encounter that left me more interested in their gang. I have also heard similar comments from fellow cops that leave an RP encounter with the Vagos satisfied and looking forward to any future encounters.

It's refreshing to see a gang that is interested in RP'ing their lore and provide more of an experience that isn't simply crime -> pursuit -> prison and repeat. I hope the trend continues and look forward to my encounters with the Vagos in the future.

Hey guys, I see you have fun, but where is youre criminal activity? Since you are trying to get official criminal faction name. But you are posting just fooling around and having fun videos and pictures, but I am missing criminal ones. Big J, take care of it.

I assume you haven't scrolled up yet, because you're saying we ''just'' post fun and fooling around video's. Maybe words will explain what our multimedia is, in your eyes, lacking:

  1. There's a video of a car chase, shooting a money truck, attempting to rob it and police chasing us;
  2. There's a picture of two members including me actually getting arrested, a shame that I didn't record what happend before (robbing store, evading police);
  3. There is us killing a civillian to send a message;
  4. There is a picture of us getting ready for a drive-by, while one of our leaders holds an illegal AK-47.

What else would you like to see?

See if you're giving an opinion like that atleast tell us what we could do better or what needs improving. For myself its not helpful to just hear: ''Yh you're just posting fun and messing around multimedia but where is the criminal activity.''. Specify what you mean so we all can learn from this instead of just ranting about what is not going good. We all have a different understanding of criminal activity, but I would really like to hear your side on that. We're roleplaying alot more than just criminal activity, but we will deliver and we will make you proud my friend. Patience is key.

Don't get me wrong I honestly appreciate your opinion.

Thank you @Aldari_Tagril we really appreciate the feedback! Its nice to hear about people enjoying what we are doing over at Vagos. We've been having some great RP with the LSPD recently. Instead of seeing cops and shooting its brought some real tense, and also some seriously funny stories to the table. Thanks again and I hope to continue the good experiences in town.
