*When He Was Pointing Gun at Me On His Screen He Was Ponting a Gun Me, But In My Screen He Wasn't it Was a Glitch Plus He Was Laying Down in The Ground And I Thought He Is Dead. Unfortunately I Don't Have Any Recording's Of The Glitch.

Hello and thank you to Alderine, Ranger and Capone for taking the time to read and respond to this report.

He choose to meet me at city parking, and he was unwilling to meet in any other location. The reason I chose behind public parking, in a hidden section is because out front is extremely open, I.e visible from the road. Obviously I did not intend at first to shoot my firearm because he does not have a weapon, and if I pull it in front of him he must comply with demands ( Fear Roleplay if not ). The location is discrete, a back alley and completely out of view from any roads. The other party proceeded to try stab me so I had to use my firearm. The location is completely out of view from the general public.

After significant review of this situation we have decided to neither accept nor deny this report, although it leans more heavily on the denial side. Instead, we would like to take this opportunity to make a few clarifications and give further education and use this report as a learning moment.

Timing / Allowing people to type out demands (Both ID 98 & ID 87):

In this situation ID 87 pulled out a weapon, then began to type 'hands', which is when ID 98 began to knife him. After being knifed once, ID 98 stepped back and began firing at ID 87 who continued to knife at him. In the inquiry we asked if ID 98 believed that they gave ID 87 enough time to type out their demands, which they replied that they did.

We see this situation as a tricky one, because ID 98 pulled his gun out and started typing rather than pointing the gun and then typing out the demands. In this situation, we would say that it would have been a courteous thing for ID 87 to allow ID 98 to type what they planned when ((Typing...)) was above his head, but we also feel that ID 98 should have pointed the weapon first to show that they were planning to hold ID 87 up - due to the fact that if a weapon was pointed before typing, ID 87 may have reacted differently. In this situation, with simply a firearm in hand, the reported player also had a weapon and there was no actual threat taking place. Having a firearm in hand can be a show of force and/or intimidation, however it is not an immediate threat especially when there is a weapon in the other player's hands as well.

We would like to advise ID 98 (Robbie West) to ensure that they are ready to type what they need to, as it can be conflicting to pull out a gun and then not point it. The ((Typing...)) that pops up above player's heads can sometimes have extremely short delay, so to avoid confusion we would suggest using VOIP or point a weapon to get the effect you would like, then type out what you need to as the other party must still remain under Fear RP even when you lower your weapon to type. 

We would like to advise ID 87 (Jake Virdi) to ensure that in future situations such as this, you allow other players to type and send what they are typing, as it is unfair to attack someone while they are locked in the chat box and provides a disadvantage to other players.

Wording / Phrasing (ID 98 [Robbie_West]):

In the situation, it can be seen in the footage that in text chat Robbie said "We can 1v1 fight this like a man". Although we understand that the intention of saying this isn't meant to have the same meaning as the gaming terms for 1v1s or to have the meaning of conducting a 1v1, we would like to strongly advise you to be more careful with your phrasing and terminology that is used because it can be misconstrued and may result in a negative response as organized 1v1s are considered Non Roleplay.

If a similar situation such as this arises in the future, instead of using '1v1' you should use 'one on one' as again, it sounds better and won't me misconstrued and taken the wrong way when there is no intention for it to come off poorly.

Attempting to Stab ID 98 with a knife (ID 87 [Jake_Virdi]):

As explained in the 'timing' section, ID 87 was seen knifing ID 98 as they were typing, and then continued to attempt to stab them whilst the firearm was pointed and being shot. Normally, if someone is pointing a weapon at you, you shouldn't pull out a melee weapon and/or attempt to fight the person wielding a firearm with melee, as the chances of you being hurt/killed are much higher. Ideally you should comply and show care and concern for your character's life. In this situation, we believe that the timing was quick and to add to this there was no legitimate threat simply an intimidation factor, and you reacted to ID 98 pulling out a weapon as quick as you could, which is when you began to stab them. Once they were shooting, you were already stabbing them at close range which is why we understand why you continued to stab at ID 98.
