(300 words maximum)\ So me and my friend was driving around the city, we were just chatting and i was explaining how things work when you are a criminal, I was sharing stories, tips and information in general, since he is a legal citizen and wanted to know what is going on on the other side of the world. So I stopped at intersection to check out the street i was looking for and 4 guys with masks pulled up on us. One of them - ID 23 started talking and asking questions who are we, I answered that we are randoms and are not in any gangs or gang dramas. The guy started saying that we were "spinning his block" and that he is not happy about it, so he got off his bike pulled out a gun and as i started driving away he started shooting, they tried to chase us but since they had slow bum cars/bikes they didnt catch us. I am not happy about this kind of RP approach since this reminds me GTA Online or something, because we had nothing to do with the guys and they chose to pretty much kill us in the middle of the street for basically no reason at all. Owen Purger Posted April 18, 2022 Report Share Posted April 18, 2022 In the video provided for evidence you clearly hear me say to him with my gun aimed "hop the fuck out the whip bro, hop the fuck out" I gave him clear demands at gun point, then he started driving away so I started trying to pop his tires. One of my friends I was with at the gas station told me that the people in the red car just robbed him, then we watched him drive by the gas station a couple of times so I said lets go take his car. Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper IC motive or interaction. My motive was to take his car since he just robbed my friend, and the interaction was done properly because I gave him clear demands while aiming a gun on foot. I gave him demands to get out the car and instead of him replying to me saying something back, or getting out the car which he could of done, he decided to drive away... you can clearly see in the video that I start shooting at his tires ONCE he tries to make an escape. He was more than capable of just getting out of the car and staying out of harms way with his friend because obviously there would be no reason to shoot if he complied. I am pretty sure that if you are trying to rob or dm somebody in the city you need to have a hard proof for doing so. Me and my friend did not rob your friend, my passenger as you saw wasn't even wearing a mask. Plus in the RP situation you did not mention or try to make sure it was us. If i was to get off the car with my hands up i can bet i was going to get robbed for the car and that would be no reason at all, plus why would I get out of the car if the engine is on and i could escape? sorry, but your whole explanation looks like bullshit. And even if it wasn't, there is no rule that states you can't rob in public... he was parked at a red light at an intersection lol people get robbed and killed at red lights everyday in real life so to say that it was non rp for me to rob him while he was parked at a red light is ridiculous, getting caught at a red light is a whole thing in real life people drive through reds just to not get caught sitting at one. Once I shot at the back of his car trying to pop his tires I was already within my deathmatch rights because I gave him multiple demands while on foot aiming a gun at him, he did not listen to my demands and decided to drive away which is okay, but he gave me permission to shoot when he did that. Owen Purger Posted April 20, 2022 Report Share Posted April 20, 2022 He was parked at a red light after he just did 2 laps around the gas station where we were. I had the motive to approach him because my buddy just told me he was robbed by them, I had motive to take his car because it was a high end sports car and he was just sitting at a red light in the hood something is bound to happen. This was conducted in a realistic manner as we had him out numbered and caught him lacking, saw the opportunity to make a move on him... just like how it would've gone in real life. If you think anything in that situation is "unrealistic" then you should get out there and see what goes on. Only difference is in real life they would of just smoked him and taken his car, but I followed all of the rules in this robbery giving him multiple demands and only shot at his car once he tried to flee, because once he started driving he gave me permission to shoot. A cop could of drove by at any moment, someone could of called the cops, they could of shot at us. But the risk was justified as he robbed my friend just prior to this and also had a really nice car that we wanted to take. Its not like we robbed the guy in a NCZ it was literally in the hood and he was lacking at a red light just parked there, nothing unrealistic or non rp about it. After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, I've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following players: Owen_Purger (ID 23) - NonRP - Non-RP Robbery - The Reason that we are concluding the report as such is the following: When conducting a Robbery, Numerous factors must be taken into account. Factors such as Time of Day, Location, and the expected outcome of the Robbery. However, from the get-go, The previously mentioned factors were not taken into account. This was a mid-day, public robbery attempt on an otherwise normally filled street at a red light, which would only result in more witnesses. For an estimated reward of car to chop. In the future, you should analyze your surroundings before attempting to perform a robbery in the manner that was conducted. And while things did not go wrong this time, that doesn't mean that they couldn't have. Also in the future, consider your surroundings better prior to conducting such robberies. Also make sure you stay updated with the ECRP Rules. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format.
