Kanan Stark
Player(s) being reported: Rashad Hunter Date of interaction reported: 17/04/2022. Unix time stamp from HUD: 1650157665 Your character name: Kanan Stark Other player(s) involved: N/A Specific rule(s) broken: Deathmatch (DM) Vehicles cannot be used as weapons in active shootouts unless where unavoidable. How did the player break the rule(s)? (300 words maximum)\ To give a quick bit of backstory myself and a few friends were driving around the city when one of us spotted a few royals active within what we know as a Chop shop. Therefore we were scouting the area. Once royals had spotted us there was a bit of back and fourth communication leaning more towards the negative side as both parties were driving around the Chop shop. After time passed we noticed they were setting up on roofs and it was called out on radio. I grabbed my shotgun off my bike and began to drive in to look around. Next thing I know I watch a sports car drive in opposite me and purposely swerve to smack me off my bike. He then gives demands and instantly shoots me before I have time to react. Overall not an enjoyable RP experience. Evidence of rule breach Unfortunately, due to changes in the server I believe my Medal didnt save the clip. I do have a full 10 minute audio if that would be of help. However I do have the other parties POV. sNo0BbZz
Hello and thank you to the Admins that will be handling this report. The Situation: Royals where at movie set as they had recently chopped a vehicle and a group of people began to circle the area and scout out the royal positions. This eventually led to a shootout that was outside movie studio on the east side, and smaller ones that where happening on the North and South side later on that where interrupted by PD/SD. From my perspective, me and stew heard shots fired outside the chop on the east side and went to assist, on our way there, we see a man on a bike heading the opposite way with a shotgun on his back. I swerve in front of him and give him demands, he then pulls out his shotgun and me and Stew_Gambino Injure him. The VDM claim: VDM rules state that you cannot use your vehicle as a weapon in active shootouts, and while I do understand where the reporting party is coming from saying that the shootout was actively happening. It wasnt happening directly near us, nor where there shots being actively fired at my vehicle + the reporting party wasnt actively shooting. Taking all of these factors into account plus considering the fact that Shots where called out on the east side outside movie and I see a bike with a shotgun on its back coming from there gives enough IC reason for the maneuver. As seen in the footage It was just me and stew and the reporting party in the middle of the chop, secluded from everyone else. I would also like to comment on the fact the reporting party said it wasn't an enjoyable RP experience. You and your Allies wanted to have a shootout for no reason other than wanting to have a shootout, there was no prior escalation between the 2 groups. You chose this route of RP and when you lose you claim that it wasn't enjoyable. Thank you and hope everyone is having a good day.

Kanan Stark
Hi, Sorry I'd Just like to question 'We see a man on a bike heading the opposite way with a shotgun on his back. I swerve in front of him and give him demands' However in PMs which are accessible through the logs you said that the road was so tight that it was unavoidable to not hit me. Indicating that you didn't mean to hit me before the report was made. You also state 'This eventually led to a shootout that was outside movie studio on the east side,' However, a lot of the fighting especially the initial engagement was within Movie Set itself and just because I have a shotgun on my back doesn't mean you have DM rights. I'm also unsure as to why you're saying I'm unhappy with the outcome due to me losing. My point of stating it was an enjoyable experience was that a 20 minute back and fourth led to you VDMing me and in turn not allowing me to RP. Kazjii
REPORT ACCEPTED ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following player(s): Rashad_Hunter - (V)DM Punishment - After reviewing both testimonies and the provided footage of the report, the conclusion will settle on this in fact being DM. The reason being: You mention that there is a parameter of IC reasoning behind the "maneuver" due to the shots being fired. It has been stated multiple times in past-concluded reports and still remains the notion that the assumption of someone doing something does NOT give you valid DM rights. While he had a shotgun, that does not alienate the process of having escalation, and in this case, giving you the right to ram him off the bike with the vehicle. It is with all this in mind for the reasoning of the conclusion. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format. This report will now be locked and archived. Regards, Support Staff Management
