How did the player break the rule(s)?  (300 words maximum)\
I was sat on the bench at DOC. When ID 22 came up to me and asked me to fight. When I refused he walked up to another person (61) who he then asked to fight and 'square up' the two preceded to fight until both of them were then injured. 

The two had no prior negative interaction while at DOC therefore  the fight was uncalled for, unjustified and demonstrated a poor standard of RP. The fight was random and had no reasoning.

Me and jude went into prison together because we were together when we got arrested and plus me and jude know eachother so i dont know how this is non rp because he asked to fight I said yes and it happened. Its prison mate what do you expect. These fights happen all the time.

I do understand the problem with the RDM, I also understand that I am in the wrong and the situation was very inappropriate but it was just for fun. It would make it an unfair punishment. Along with the NON-RP there is not a lot of RP going on inside the prison except for the processing which makes it a boring place which is why we started fist fighting. I do understand the concern with this but what happened was a small conflict between friends which it was very minor.

After reviewing the report and the evidence attached, we have come to the decision to deny this report.

I wish to start off by apologizing for the amount of time this report has been open. I went back and forth for a good amount of time and spent a great deal of time discussing with different staff to gain more input. While I can understand that in a situation like this some could see it as DM and or NonRP to randomly start fighting in DOC. However we have to remember that people host fight nights throughout the city as events where agreed upon fights take place, people also will be fighting out and about in the city to which we usually handle it with IC consequences. After checking all avenues it was apparent that the reported parties Jude Haze (ID 22) and Cody Johson (ID 61) continued RP after the fact with DOC guards when provided medical treatment. 

However with the above said I would like the address the responses given from both reported parties in relation to this report.

A response such as this should not be a justification for the actions that unfolded. While it is prison and fights in prison happen regularly in real life this can not be a sole justification to fighting in the server. We have rules put in place for the sole fact that we want everyone to have an enjoyable experience while in our server and community.

As for this statement I respect the fact that you understand and acknowledged possible rule breaks. The statement of "There's not a lot of RP going on inside prison except processing" is not 100% true this is at the end of the day a RP server to which you can create your own RP as long as it falls within the rules. There is also a suggestion thread on the forums to which you can input ideas you have for the server. In addition there is a DOC revamp suggestion already submitted should you wish to give it a read and add any thoughts or ideas you have that could improve the time you would spend inside DOC. 

This decision is final. Unless instructed to, if you post another player report pertaining to this incident, you may be muted from posting on the forums for a temporary period. If you disagree with the outcome of this report, please file an appeal following the appeal guidelines and format.
