 I had just logged in and was driving to my house when i seen a Shenzen colored Issi Sport driving through vespucci, i know a couple of people in Shenzhen well and was attempting to see who it was. When i finally caught up with said Issi I Observed that it was not Shenzhen dragons and drove off. Some cars followed me when I drove off and i accidently hit a pole.  another individual then also attempted to rob me and had given me demands to get out of the car but didn't and returned to their vehicle and drove away(but i do not have POV of that or their ID). once i was out of my car I noticed ID 109 exiting theirs with a shotgun on their back, I then got into my vehicle quickly and attempted to leave as it appeared as a hostile situation when ID 109 shot at me. I am not sure if any demands were issued as I did not hear any but I do not see any reason why they would in the first place.
I also tried explaining to ID 109 that I have no idea why I was shot and I wasn't involved in whatever he assumed I was but he was not interested in what i had to say.

Good afternoon! Cameron_Boreland here, firstly I'd like to thank the staff handling this report.

Black Disciples and Ballas had 3 shootouts on the same day, prior to this interaction. This specific interaction begun with "15+" Ballas pulling up to Forum Dr. (our headquarters) to instigate and antagonise (spitting and talking shit etc) the very few BD members on the block at the time.

About 20 minutes later we found the same Ballas that had come to our block driving around the hood which we then chased them out of the hood exclaiming that it is "our hood", this chase led to Vespucci which is where my POV starts. 

In my POV you can clearly see high levels of aggression being shown from both parties and was undeniably "gang related" this chase was very obviously going to have a hostile ending. They were warned if they continued their behaviour that they would be shot to which their response was "I dare you" etc. 

1 of the Balla member's says on radio that they have an ambush set up for us, so at this point we without a doubt knew their intentions were to harm us so we began to start picking them up 1 by 1 by taking them hostage in their own trunks.

Curtins then decides to insert himself into the situation and chase a BD member who had a Balla hostage, for over a minute, taking multiple illegal turns and doing illegal U-turns to identify the person in the car (typical behaviour of an opponent in these situations). A minute is a very long time in these situations as the shootout's usually last mere seconds. Curtins proceeds to stall his car, in the same manor the initial Balla did.

He was given demands to put his hands up, then get in the trunk, this was met with him immediately typing in /b, making no attempt to RP the situation out. I then saw the .50 on his back (which was called out earlier "white elegy has a .50 in his hand" heard at 0:23 on "Part 2" video, when he was chasing the BD member) I told him to drop the .50 on the floor multiple times, I told him I would shoot him in 5 seconds if he did not comply (I gave him 10 seconds and did not shoot him) I then got back in my vehicle and watched the floor carefully to see if he dropped it while I was in my car and he still did not.

At that point I decided that it's not worth letting 1 of the perceived to be Balla's get away while still being armed and dangerous to my allies instead of killing him there and then. This reaction was also brought on by how quickly he was able to unlock and get back into his vehicle showing he's clearly not unfamiliar with the controls and 10-15 seconds is more than enough time for him to have dropped his .50.

If Curtins made ANY attempt to actually RP the situation out, instead of going in /b straight away. I can confidently say I would have let him go had he 1. Spoken (I know his voice) 2. Taken his mask off 3. Not attempted to stall RP and FRP and simply dropped the .50

You were willing to insert yourself into a gang chase, you should be willing to face the consequences after the fact and accusing me of killing you for "no reason" as the deathmatching rule states, is wilful ignorance . You didn't provide any context to the situation, you don't have your own POV, you've claimed you didn't hear my demands when they are heard LOUDLY and CLEARLY in my friend's POV, which leads me to believe this report is petty.

These POV's have been cut down to just what this report concerns, to avoid metagaming as it contains very sensitive information, full unedited POV's can be sent if needed.

Hi first off I would like to get started by thanking Staff for taking the report and spending their time on it.

I also want to respond to some of the claims made by the reported party.

I did not intentionally insert myself into any hostile situation at all. While driving to my house I noticed a Shenzen colored Issi Sport driving down the street when i finally caught up enough to it and noticed it was not Shenzhen I did not say anything and decided to leave, where i then crashed into the pole, which you can see exactly at 1:17  in the third video linked.

I exited the vehicle upon demands being issued and placed my hands up, i genuinely have no recollection of you telling me to get in the trunk and i must have not heard it but, I watched the clip and heard it, your mic is a bit muffled though and makes it hard to hear. As for putting question marks in /b, I was confused as i legit had just logged in and was already being robbed and then eventually killed.(Im well aware that /b is not tolerated anymore and /pm is to be used i just forgot at that moment in time.)  For the claim of me making no attempt to RP is completely false the second i had a gun pointed at me my arms were up, I am gonna be honest here and say your communication wasn't the best and I had no idea what you actually wanted me to do with your friend screaming telling you to get into the car also making your demands harder to hear.

I don't know how you would have wanted me to provide context to the situation at all when i genuinely had no idea why you decided to rob me, i don't have any POV as i JUST logged in.I did not hear most of your demands to be honest, as i've already explained. I'm well aware of the FRP rules and follow them to the T when im placed under it. I honestly do not think this report is petty at all, I messaged you in game via PM's (can be checked in logs) in an attempt to explain the misunderstanding and that you would hopefully want to resolve it, I was also in contact with Deandre_Boreland which I believe to be the leader, I also attempted to resolve it with him and he  informed me that you didn't want to resolve it.       


I won't respond any further unless tagged by staff thank you.

• Cameron_Boreland - Deathmatching Warning - Reading over the provided statements and with the evidence provided there was no proper escalation or interaction for you to be shooting the reported party. Shooting at a player is not something that should be taken lightly. You need to have proper escalation as stated by the rules, which was the case here, thus initiating an unwarranted shootout. I would also like to add, demands do no mean DM rights. You need ESCALATION.

If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
