How did the player break the rule(s)?  (300 words maximum)\
After Crashing their vehicle in a pursuit I exited my cruiser and drew my shotgun to get them both under gunpoint. I was standing approximately 1 - 2 m away with my shotgun fully drawn and pointed at the vehicle, issuing clear demands when they both decided to exit the vehicle, run away then withdraw their own weapons and try to kill me. As shown in the footage, I'm perfectly visible and my heavy weapon is in point blank distance, their actions showed absolutely no regard for their characters life. This is supported by the fact that when they did withdraw their guns I was able to easily neutralize the pair. I tried to talk to them both in /b afterwards about the situations, admittedly a little aggravated and neither of them seemed to show acknowledgement of their actions which Is why I've taken it to the forums, I believe one of them tried to play it off as a calculated risk or something in that region.

Unfortunately I wasn't recording at the time of the incident, however a nearby player was able to clearly capture the moment they were put under gunpoint and ran off.

Jennifer Sinclair here, i told him in a pm that i didn't have my OBS running. so i dont have POV.and he made it out that he had pov of the situation anyhow he came back with somebody else's and has no audio,

me and aki stalled our car and both came to a decision where we will put up a fight as you see us getting out of the car we had a plan where she would run off and i would slowly keep moving down toward the banking, as you can see in the pov my gun didn't fire but i pointed mine back at him to try and get an RP scenario of getting him to drop his gun where i got gunned down instantly, thats where aki came in to play and tried to get me out of gun point where i was the only one under gun point, she fought to get me out of the situation but sadly we lost the situation at hand, but when we did lose i would like to point out that the reporting party then proceeded to run around us and say "i have a gun aimed at your head retards" and repeatedly went on to use the word retard constantly, instead of calling us retards he could of RP'd his injuries abit better, but other than that i dont feel like i did anything wrong in this scenario. I  believe running around screaming retards over and over again while someone is dying is toxic/poor behaviour and promotes and displays very low quality RP

Just to clarify on a couple of points made by this statement...

I never claimed to have had any pov, I simply stated that I intended on making a report and requested that you both saved any footage that you may have had regarding the situations. This is supported by chat logs.

Regarding this elaborate plan which you both supposedly devised in the space of 4 seconds, I'm a little unsure as to how you intended to intimidate my character who was already pointing a shotgun at you both while you were both clearly unarmed was meant to happen? The second you attempted to draw your weapon you were immediately downed before you were even able to discharge your first shot which supports the fact you should have never tried to withdraw your gun or run in the first place. 

I don't recall this claim of repeatedly calling you retards in voip, the word might have been used however not to the extend which you're trying to portray in your response. I think it's a perfectly reasonable thing to say if you find yourself in that situation. My IC response was perfectly fitting and realistic, I updated responding units, called for MD to assist then attended to the gun shot wound that my hand had sustained using appropriate medical RP. My behaviour in this situation was in full honesty somewhat aggressive following the situation but perfectly within the rules and met with a realistic roleplay from my character, I believe it to be rather ironic that you're accusing me of demonstrating a poor quality of Roleplay for saying the word "Retards" to a suspect I've just shot down when you thought it to be appropriate to run off and draw a gun on a deputy who's issued clear demands and standing at point-blank range with a shotgun.

Aki Mei here, we were evading and stalled into someone in the middle of the road, we both agreed to pull on the officer because he was alone and i got out of the car and created distance, having an atleast 2 mag gunfight with the officer. The officer almost died and if he had POV or i did it would show this, but since shadowplay doesnt work anymore i dont have any POV to show. I request that an unedited version of the POV is shown (at the very least unmuted) as immediately after shooting us the officer ran up to both of us and called us "retarded" multiple times for "pulling a gun under gunpoint" instead of RPing his injuries.

Just to again clarify on some points made by this response...

It's clear that you wanted to make distance and that's not what I'm trying to dispute, what was incorrect about your actions was that you did so while under direct, point-blank gun point with clear demands which I shouted at you both. Also to say that I almost died is again incorrect, following the shootout with you two you didn't even manage to penetrate my body armour and only landed a few shots, my health was already low prior to pursuit. 

Unfortunately as already stated, none of us three had any POV recording however my chance the individual which you crashed into did. After I requested his footage he informed me via PM immediately that he could get me some however it doesn't record audio which chat logs will support. In the eventuality that he did have audio it's totally irrelevant seeing as he's at a distance which he would be unable to hear what was being said. 

Again regarding these counter claims against myself, it's perfectly valid to be angry at someone who's just attempted to kill you. Furthermore my logs will clearly show me using the /mywounds command followed by appropriate roleplay to treat a wound which I'd sustained to my hand and to further reiterate a previous comment, you didn't even break through my kevlar armour bar. My roleplay was realistic and befitting of someone who's just had an attempt made on his life. If you want to get pedantic about the depth of my roleplay we could perhaps bring to light the fact that both of you were just involved in a head on collision, at excessive speeds against a vehicle twice the size of yours but yet you both didn't sustain any injuries from that and you were able to run along into the woods under gunpoint.

REPORT DENIED

After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it, we've decided to Deny this report and would like to convey some important points:

Due to the lack of perspective in the scenario, it is impossible to say with certainty at which point each player had weapons and pointed in which directions. What is able to be said is that, when Paulo Witherfork exited his vehicle, he immediately pulled out his shotgun and as he rounded the car, the driver was already feet to the ground with their back facing away. The passenger across the car could not be under fear RP due to the object between them and the focus being on the closest target. In the moment of exiting, it's clear a decision was made, whether it be unanimous, unspoken or otherwise, to take the chance to fight the one officer by themselves as they assumed their chances were higher to escape.
The risk of losing around 14k in illegal firearms, AT LEAST 10k in fines and 120 minutes in jail, this coupled with outnumbering the officer, as a team we could agree that this would be a risk worth taking in this scenario.

We would like to address the statements made regarding Paulo Witherfork using terms such as "Retard" in character after "Downing" them both. I can attest in the heat of the moment, a fleeting comment like this would make sense because from the officers perspective, he could be thinking "Why would you fight me, i have a shotgun, you are going to get hurt, and get caught, and get another charge, you should've given yourself up" - Not to say that this is a thought Paulo had because we aren't psychic but playing devils advocate this is where the thought process could come from. However, using the word excessively under our community rules, if it doesn't make RP sense, shouldn't be done. Again, not to say that this IS the case because there is not footage to demonstrate so.

Finally, we would like to comment on the attitudes towards each other as community members. We understand that in the moment, in this situation, it can be frustrating but there are 2 key elements to consider before posting a report or even a reply.

1. This is primarily a gaming community, not just a server. Yes we all come together on RAGE to play a character and 
play our roles. We are primarily a collection of unique individuals that, given the chance, can be some of the best of friends that you couldn't find anywhere else.
2. In this scenario, unless otherwise stated, the only parties that lost anything would be Aki Mei and Jennifer Sinclair while yourself would have been able to continue with your RP elsewhere. 

Now we do understand that as community we are responsible for educating other players, and we do realise when a rule is broken, considering we are all expected to follow them, it can be upsetting/demotivating when it seems that another player has broken them. 'Why do I have to abide by rules if they don't'
We understand this concern and this footage and hopefully conclusion should be educational for all.

What we would like you to take from this report, you being all three of you, is to just remind yourselves that you are essentially apart of the same family. Yes you both have different characters with different roleplay styles, Yes we may not all get along. However we are all lucky to be a part of the opportunity to make friend's for life and have an escape from the day to day stresses of real life.
