1Markov
Player(s) being reported: ID 70, ID 151 Date of interaction reported: 07/APR/2022. Unix time stamp from HUD: 1649368113 Your character name: Joe Markov Other player(s) involved: Name(s) N/A Specific rule(s) broken: 14. Deathmatch (DM) Deathmatching is the act of attacking a player without a proper IC motive and interaction. Prior interaction should include escalation such as a robbery or a report to the police. How did the player break the rule(s)? (300 words maximum)\ As seen in the POV bellow, I was just traveling up north and into some labs, picking plants both alone and with the other players who I was on the same frequency with, At Sea Labs, I was constantly checking my surroundings for anyone, but there was no one to be seen. All of the sudden next thing I see is player 151 and player 70 jump out of some bushes and open fire on me Instantly, no demands given, I had never encountered/seen them before, no real reason for them to start shooting at me and kill me on sight without a word said. There was simply no roleplay in the situation and I had absolutely no time to react as they gave me no time whatsoever. In the process I had over 30 Marijuana Plants on me, Pistol .50 with 50x bullets and the car I drove was a Jugular with a flopping chop price. I will let the POV bellow speak for itself, but the DM rule was clearly broken here and I can't imagine the "reason" behind this. It is worth saying that right before I died I called for backup on the radio, the boat already sank and I wasn't given any demands that would have expected me to not do so. The "/b save your povs" was meant to be a short and quick reminder that I will be filing a report and having POV from all sides would be helpful. Wolokai142
REPORT ACCEPTED ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― After reviewing this report and evidence attached to it, we've decided to accept this report and issue the punishments to the following player(s): Nino_Jay (70) & Kevin_Walkerr (151) - In the evidence above, you can be seen engaging in hostilities with the reporting party in a gunfight. The issue in this particular instance is that the amount of time before attempting to speak to your intended target and opening fire on them was way too fast to the point of it being near instant. You must give players enough time to meet your demands and instructions, as it states in the rules where attacking another player requires both IC motivation and interaction. Upon careful review, we will be giving benefit of the doubt in regards to ID 151's attempts to communicate with the reporting party, however as stated before, the time between the attempted interaction and the actual start of combat is not valid in this scenario. Both players will receive a formal warning for the situation described above. If you have received a punishment that you disagree with, feel free to file a punishment appeal following the punishment appeal guidelines and format. If the reporting party suffered a loss greater than $25,000 in value, feel free to file a refund request following the refund request guidelines and format.
