Information prior to the death should be completely forgotten and is no longer valid justification for any future hostile action against those involved. Fear Roleplay (FRP) Fear RP is showing appropriate care and concern to preserve your character's safety and life. If a player's life is in direct danger they must RP adequate fear and comply with demands. A player is not showing proper fear if they run while on foot/bike or in an unpowered vehicle and a weapon is aimed at them at close range, or if they drive into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover or fleeing with it. How did the player break the rule(s)? (300 words maximum) First off, the first ever interaction i had with this player was more so he walked into burger shot and hit me, then i chased him to get my lick back and he ended up going to pier, i went back to burgershot to work, and he walked in threatning me, then sped off, we went on a chase and he ended up using a CITY BEE, to do 2 stunts during the chase, one of the one are here (https://streamable.com/wjjwki) and the second one here (https://streamable.com/nujkmj). after i had lost him after those stunts i continue to go back to burgershot and then i over hear someone say he is at pier, so i go to pier, and he ends up dying by crashing into a bench, while i chased him, after him dying, i continued regular RP at Legion Square, and he appears in a Warrener, taunting me, crashing into my car, and etc... So i start driving and i notice he is following me, so i pull up to the chop shop and, this video can explain the rest. Jack Cullen Posted April 6, 2022 Report Share Posted April 6, 2022 Hello im the player reported basically this started when I just got on the server for the first time and I was checking locations on the map and I saw people at the burger shot so I went inside where the people were rude to me and threatened me also stealing my yellow rental scooter. I was chased and vdmed several times by the players over the course of the night. Anyways the time in the video at legion square the guy was again threatening me so I followed him where he led me to the scrapyard in which he blocked me from leaving. I then drove off and somehow crashed and my car stalled. I exited my car but I didn't turn my GTA camera towards the player so I didn't even know he was there aiming a gun. I also did not hear him speaking over the mic so I'm not sure if it was the common rage mp bug where you sometimes cant hear people speaking, well that's what it's like on previous servers I've played. I then started running away before I knew I was trapped where I was so I then decided to turn around and that's when I first saw the guy chasing me so I instantly just swung for him before I even realised he had a gun. At that point I knew he was just going to kill me as he then instantly started to shoot so I just tried my hardest to kill him as I knew I was going to die if I didn't and there was no chance of me living. That's basically my side of the story. I also don't have a video of this as I've not played on rage for a while so I didn't realise until today that shadowplay clips werent working because of the new anti cheat measures unless you turned a specific setting on which I have now fixed. Had I known he had a gun I would have course followed fear rp rules and complied with him. As for LGBT+ slurs I of course read the rules but not that announcement page which I have now done. I will admit I have said the f word but I will say I was at the pier and other places and heard other players using the exact same slur so I didn't think much of it and in future I will of course ask for ooc consent prior to doing so and be more mindful of the rules around that. Jack Cullen Posted April 7, 2022 Report Share Posted April 7, 2022 I mean throughout all encounters he never had a firearm on him, never drawn the gun or made it clear he had one so I just assumed he was threatening to beat me up. I followed him because he was making these threats and I was planning to assault him first and not back down. I was planning to leave once he led me in the scrapyard but he then blocked me in. aleks Posted April 8, 2022 Report Share Posted April 8, 2022 PLAYER REPORT ACCEPTED ――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― After reviewing this report and the evidence attached to it, we have decided to accept this report and issue the following punishments: [ID 37] Jack_Cullen | FearRP | In the provided evidence, your character can be seen not only choosing to follow someone unarmed after they made a direct threat against your life but running directly at [ID 53] Shawn_Valentine all the while ignoring any demands given to get on your knees. While demands do not equal death matching rights, the fact your character chose to attack him provided him sufficient reason to fire. In the future, staff would like to remind you that every interaction should be treated with your character's safety and extension of life in mind. While you may not have seen the gun, it is your responsibility as a player to be aware of your surroundings and potential threats that may lead to situations like this in the future. Please note there was no indication of the reported party dying and in breach of the new life rules.
