  1. I'm not looking for OOC compensation. If you remembered my face, feel free to pay me back if you find me around. Really just wanted to make sure the fact that this is a rule break was conveyed to you. I'm content to close this report if @Mod Drizzy doesn't see the need to push the issue further.
  2. Player(s) being reported: ID 111 Date of interaction reported: 9/20/2020 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1600624718 Your characters name: Baxter Verstetten Other player(s) involved: Possibly ID 270? I'm not sure if they were together or not. Specific rule(s) broken: 9. Non-Roleplay (NRP) Actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay are considered as non-roleplay. Players are required to remain IC at all times. RP can only be paused or voided by admins. If a crash / disconnect occurs, players must post in the crash reports discord channel and contact all parties to resume. Players reconnecting must be given all opportunities held prior. Players should not instigate situations they do not have time to play through. If a player is chased they must wait 15 minutes before they can log out of the game. Players can’t depict their character with real images or game images not possible on ECRP. Examples: Ignoring RP, baiting government services without proper IC reason, asking to be killed or forcing your own death, unrealistic stunt jumping, misusing expensive vehicles, using script work vehicles for other purpose, submerging any vehicle in water intentionally, swimming for an unrealistic amount of time in a chase, or stealing from / tampering with an OOC F4 menu. How did the player break the rule(s)? This player used the money truck in an attempt to block me in the clothing store. Then when confronted after I left the store feigned ignorance about who owned the truck. After a few minutes of RPing trying to figure out who's truck it was, he parks the truck in a way that obscures my view, picks my car, and drives off to chop it. I just want to clarify that this report may seem petty as the stakes were relatively small and I was only minorly inconvenienced, but I feel it's important to uphold proper standards of RP and that includes reporting incidents like this where RP is exceptionally poor. I'm not necessarily looking for a punishment with this report unless the staff member taking this deems it necessary, I just want to ensure the reported player has the opportunity to learn how his actions are poor RP as I was too absent-minded to PM in-game about it. Thanks to whoever takes this report for their time. Evidence of rule breach:
  3. It was the eve of Matt and Niki's wedding, and Baxter, being one of Matt's groomsmen, wanted to make it a memorable night for Matt. He had a plan that safely combined a staple of bachelor parties - BOOZE! - with his and Matt's biggest interest - cars. He would get 4 stock Warreners, fit them with roll cages and race seats, and host races in tracks relatively off the beaten path. Low End was frustratingly lacking in Warreners at the time, as were Atomic and Motorsport... Thankfully, Heavyflow had exactly 4 at the time. He might have decided to get cute with other upgrades while he was hauling them back and forth from LSC... With the help of Tommy, Baxter hauled the Warreners out to Garbage and hid them down on the beach for the hour leading up to the get-together. When it was time, Baxter met up with Matt, blindfolded him, and drove him to Garbage to reveal the surprise. As you'd expect, Matt was extremely skeptical of the idea, thinking it would be lame. But once the booze started flowing, the inhibitions were lowered and the fun was on! The streets were clear, the seatbelts were on, and the green flag waving! The fun was short-lived however, as after a couple laps the cars were in dire need of repair (much as you'd expect...). A mechanic was called, and Niki decided to ride along with the mechanic from LSC. They pulled up in the middle of the filler entertainment that Tommy called in while the cars were being repaired, and well... (In case the video is removed by youtube for copyright: https://streamable.com/5a5gnc) So the night ended a little early, but fun was had, Baxter still owns the cars, and with proper planning and advertising they could become quite the attraction for Underground, both internally and externally!
  4. Issue Being Reported: I'd like to change my display name from Baxter Verstetten to SpeedRacer. This username is already taken, but the records on their profile show they made their account in 2017, used it for 2 days, and haven't logged in since, never having made a post at all. Date and Time of Issue (provide timezone): September 10, 2020 3pm UTC Your characters name: Baxter Verstetten Other player(s) involved: n/a Evidence and/or notes worth mentioning: I wasn't quite sure what I was getting into when I made my forum account, but now that I'm getting more active on here I'd like to generalize my display name and not have it attached to my character necessarily. Hope this request is possible, thanks for your time!
  5. Looks like I've misinterpreted the rule then and there's not much discussion to be had lmao Feel free to archive at your discretion I guess.
  6. I figured I'd come here to gain more context from more experienced players on the matter instead of going straight to a rule suggestion post. The core thought I'm having is as follows: What issues, if any, would there be in letting players who find dead bodies/witness someone die RP remembering the situation in general? I only have around 3 months on the server, and it's all been spent on my civilian character working his way up the LSC ladder and recently starting a street racing crew with some friends, so I have limited context of the life of an LEO or bonafide Crim. However, speaking solely from my experience on this character, it feels like character development is noticeably limited by being forced to forget witnessed deaths. Obviously we shouldn't be remembering names of people since they're obviously still very alive, but the mere act of witnessing a death and the scene of it feels like something that should be remembered by our characters for the opportunity to develop. Let me share an example that prompted this thought: Last night I pulled into LSC's employee parking to find a co-worker's dead body and his killer injured next to him. We RP'd out the scene and got the murderer taken away and arrested. Based on the character I play (a gun-phobic civilian who gets generally anxious around deadly violence), a scene like that should have a lasting effect, especially since I had to provide BLS for the murderer. Due to NLR though, I feel my RP is unnecessarily limited. Given the fact that LSC is almost always hiring, it feels plausible that the dead mechanic could have just been a new hire that I hadn't met yet. Given the fact that this isn't a suggestion post, I'm not really looking to see +1s and -1s, but more so players sharing their experiences as to why the current wording of NLR is necessary or maybe more experiences like mine where the wording of NLR unnecessarily hampered their RP. Thanks for your time!
  7. I don't plan on a back and forth here, so sorry if it comes off that way, I just feel there's a need for clarification. While there is no footage of him putting on a mask, the player admitted to police that he pulled up to the shop to get work done on his Komoda, where he would not have had a mask on per LSC policy. The footage of the robbery then shows him with a mask on. Judging by the fact that CCTVs cover nearly every inch of LSC's customer and employee parking lots, it surely would have caught him putting his mask on. I'd also like to say that I found your VOIP RP interesting - thought it was cool how calm you were lying to the cops. What I don't appreciate was you lying in /do and making us wait over an hour to finish the situation while the victims of the robbery uploaded their footage to actually show the police on-scene what CCTVs would have shown. I'll now be waiting for further direction from Dawpi, thanks everyone for your time here.
  8. As a note, I've updated the original post after finding more evidence. Thanks for your time.
  9. Player(s) being reported: ID 218 (Nicky_Akuma I believe) Date of interaction reported: September 4th, 2020 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1599261882 Your characters name: Baxter_Verstetten Other player(s) involved: ID 19 (Harvey_Pearson) ID 18 ID 213 ID 38 ID 53 ID 283 (Ron_Kimchi) ID 265 (Lemar_Odom) Specific rule(s) broken: 9. Powergaming (PG) Powergaming is playing unfairly through not allowing other players a chance to roleplay responses and their own actions, unrealistic actions, or non-factual statements in /do. Forceful commands should be used after RP or the party is unresponsive for 30 seconds. Government funded faction members must go off duty when not performing faction duties IC. Players must capture time stamped evidence performing RP that will potentially influence future interactions and evidence is only valid for 48 hours, death, or until others RP invalidates it. How did the player break the rule(s)? ID 218 Wasted nearly an hour of everyone involved's time by lying in /do's about CCTV camera footage (once conflicting /do's were done, PD then had to wait until victims involved could upload footage and the "real" CCTV footage could be seen). Unfortunately, nobody involved saved footage of his /do lie when it happened. Before ID 218 was driven away by ID 18, I attempted to get him to repeat his /do statement in regard to the CCTV footage 3 separate times, each time giving him ample time to respond and nudging him in /b to respond. ID 18 knew I was trying to get him to slip again as I PM'd him asking him to wait while I attempted the RP of re-watching the footage and was waiting, but after 3 minutes of no response I guess he saw it not worth it and drove off with ID 218. I'd love it if this report can be made to include lying in /do, but I understand that's not likely without footage. Overall this play created an unpleasant and exhausting RP experience for everyone involved and I'd like to see him made aware of how his affects others' enjoyment of the server. Edit: I've found footage of his non-factual /do statements and have added that onto the report. You can see him deny the CCTV footage capturing him putting on a mask after pulling up to the shop. I'm still not entirely convinced that it's enough for moderators to say it was non-factual, but I figured I'd throw it in just in case. Evidence of rule breach: Footage of RP being ignored: https://streamable.com/vj9r32 Footage of non-factual /do: https://streamable.com/kkyny5 Footage of the robbery that ID 218 claimed CCTV had no footage proving his involvement: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjTo-ef515M&feature=youtu.be
  10. Yeah, now they just do this. Script shouldn't be used to enforce rules against a targeted subset of the playerbase who allegedly break a rule often, especially when the script affects something literally everyone uses. Let the proper channels be followed when players NRP. Also crazy that the inconsistency of being able to use your phone but not your radio seemingly doesn't bother you.
  11. Massive +1, frustratingly inconsistent realism in the script as others have pointed out. Can fiddle around with your phone but can't hold a button on your ear and talk? Bonkers. Solution isn't to remove phone use as the medic job would get ruined, just revert this update and tell people to go to forums when NRPing radio changes during shootouts.
  12. We put on quite the show for SD!
  13. Awesome job making official folks, hope to collab more ICly in the future. Always good interactions!
