  1. What about them that made you chuckle?
  2. Then he'll break even
  3. Warnings, suspension and discharging is pretty bad, probably worse than you going to jail and losing 100k worth of stuff. I too disagree with how some LEOs handle some stuff, but most of the time its entirely IC and should be handled using IC means, as long as there's no rulebreaks that occur during the interaction. You mentioned they can just make a new character and join back, but so can you? Just create a new character then. LEO players also buy assets, RP with people and make relations and that, so if someone is a PD command or smth and he gets discharged, it'll 100% hurt his character, he wont just create another character and ignore all his character's story, past and relations.
  4. Idk which faction you're in but if you're in SD, it literally takes you 5 seconds to check if its paleto impound or not, 5 seconds that could save someone else 30mins of their lives being wasted sitting idle cuz you're too lazy to check and do your IC duty. If you're PD its also less than a minute to check the impound, and as I've seen multiple SDs here saying (most of the time it turns out to be pd impound) then why are PD not responding? Do they as well say that most of the times its sd impound? I'd say its easier in paleto cuz even when I'm on foot I can run to SD in 15 seconds and ask for someone to come if someone's there. But in PD, even if someone's already in the station, he'll try his best to not come. Tons of people say this yet PD try and deny it for some reason, and now saying that THIS is the sole reason its happening is just pure cap. We wait and see how things change if that gets implemented.
  5. We all know this isnt the reason yous keep people at impounds for over 30mins but it still is a +1 from me cuz it makes sense.

    Archive Please

Pretty sure there's a suggestion about this already
  7. Think it would be better if it starts at 50k, 2nd slot 100k, 3rd slot 150k, and then cap at 200k for the 4th one and the ones after. +1 to the idea tho
  8. Yeah, I need passive funds as well as a criminal so I can stop grinding and focus on my ilLEGAL roleplay plans.
  9. You'll have to change it through F6 menu using 500 credits.
  10. Punching people for no reason in DOC is also considered fun to some people, yet it falls under the DM rule. I havent yet logged in nor tested tackling personally but I feel that that tackling someone with no escalation at all can be abused easily to win a situation. I dont think the suggestion is about you and your friends chillin in your HQ tackling each other, its about random incidents that happen for no reason just cuz someone was bored so ye, lets tackle this guy. +1 to the suggestion.
  11. This defies the whole idea of a supercar. A supercar is rare, making it desired, making it super expensive, making it hard to obtain.
  12. Feel free to check anybody's license status if you use their Fname_Lname, not ID.
  13. I dont consider the word "lazy" an insult but you do you. There's no way you're denying the "this is IC". My initial conditions had nothing to do with crims vs LEO, simply using Fname_Lname is basic logic 101. In the hundreds of words you've wrote defending your point, you still havent given me one single reason to justify it working with IDs. Logs or not, /report or not, no windows for metagaming should be open. PLAYERS* can CTRL + X, not only crims. And I personally am against it, cuz it leaves windows open for metagaming :).
  14. 1. I'm not here to argue and definitely not about something that simple. The script should not work if the player is wearing a mask. Not generally working cuz the player is EXPECTED to not have mask on. Crims are assured cops cant abuse /suspend as we get notified when our licenses get suspended. If we'll be getting a similar notification, then I guess this solves everything :). 3. If the information it gives you is IC, then it should only consider IC input (Fname_Lname) imo. I still dont get why you WANT it to work for IDs cuz all I'm getting from you now is that you're lazy and dont wanna take 5 seconds to type someone's name. You say that its easy to figure out if someone abused it without roleplay but we all know that if a crim asks that question, the response is gonna be "IC" and then the crim will either take the L or make a report and then its more headache for admins over something that imo isnt even worth your whole argument. Even if the script returns "ID has:" it still doesnt stop all possible metagaming as cops can just check suspension for ID 67, know that ID 67 doesnt have a license and then do whatever bs they can to pull him over. TL;DR: a chat notification like the one player gets after /suspend would protect crims. If not, it should only work using Fname_Lname imo.
  15. 1. What you're talking about is IC (whether he wants to wear a mask or not at the time) while what I'm saying is that it should not work scriptly if the player has a mask on. Like the /alias command. What assures crims that some cops wouldn't just randomly check their licenses? 2. Idk how close /suspend is so doesnt really help, but I'd say it should be the same as /alias. 3. Cuz such a command should be IC, added to the mdc for example and not simply using an OOC command, using OOC identification, and then responding to the person who asked using IC means, making no sense at all and only adds a window for metagaming people's identity using their IDs. Dont think admins check everyone's logs on daily basis to figure out who's abusing a command and who isn't. Neither do I think there should be a metagaming window open just cuz there's a rule against it. If your only argument that this window should be open is because people have weird surnames then idk really.
  16. So instead of fixing the reason why people use the masks we prevent them from using it using OOC means and give them no freedom of choosing to wear a mask or no?
  17. Still an IC issue and a matter of personal preference that should not be handled or restricted by OOC means.
  18. In general: I dont think salaries should be increased. All you need to do to get paid your salary is to clock in, whether its a lot of work or no depends on timezone and if you have colleagues around or not. There is 0 risk and all you need to do is sit there do nothing until a customer comes. Freelance jobs on the other hand have to actively work, not sit alt tabbed waiting for someone to show up, they dont have people to RP with (except for roadworker maybe, and its mostly people who want to kill them over a cone). If you feel they have a better life, maybe you should consider joining them. We have those salaries and all civilians are already rich and prices of rare vehicles like drag for example is 5m at least rn, comet retros around 12m. Thinking that increasing all salaries wont affect prices of everything, including apartments, houses, vehicles especially rare ones is living in denial to have more numbers in your bank account that will mean nothing as prices will go up as salaries go up. Regarding LSC: As mentioned multiple times, Bayview isnt suffering from this at all, making me believe it doesnt have anything to do with the salary but its more of an internal issue. If you raise the salary for all factions, people would still choose to work for Bayview over LSC for the same issues that LSC is dealing with rn, which is IC.
  19. +1 but it only works under some conditions. 1- Player isnt wearing a mask. 2- Player is very very close. 3- Only works with Fname_Lname and not IDs to avoid metagaming.
  20. Kinda funny how the people disagreeing are all cops who use "IC issue" in suggestions when it comes to suggestions like reducing license suspension times and that but here in this suggestion that is actually fully and in all means IC, they want it to be forced OOCly. +1 to the suggestion and to the notes on /alias.
  21. Being a chicken burger myself, I can confirm it is in fact chicken burger.
