  1. To be honest, all these advertisements are forced upon us even if we like it or not, even if you have not a single electronic device you'll see advertisements like there's a fucking ad chip in your brain. It's one of the worst features in the server and it should change. I don't care if it will affect Weazel news or not. And no, you can't take it up IC because for some magic reason, even if you have no electronic devices on you and you're stranded on an island, you'll see advertisements, which is the most unimmersive thing. Even if you take up ICly, and say "I do not wish to see your advertisements anymore" There's nothing they can do. Advertisements should be togglable. Simple as that.
  2. Suggestion Hello my friends from Eclipse Roleplay, today I would like to suggest something that it's going to help us navigate better. EXTEND MINI-MAP WHILE IN A VEHICLE. With a simple press of Z the mini-map should expand like gta online. +1 if you like it!
  3. And our gangs require you to join their discord before you become a member. But we don't talk about that do we? In my opinion, detectives are doing a great job.
  4. It's still a great suggestion, not everyone likes to mod. A decent sound mod in the game would make it fair and enjoyable for the majority.
  5. not only that, if they're stuck and we tase them, then some times we have to cuff and drag them while they're alive, turns out they fall off map and instantly die. Happened tonight.
  6. In the server, we currently have two types of players: those who log in just to grind with limited roleplay, investing in their theme for future roleplay, and those who bid on properties for over $50,000,000. In my opinion, boosting the civilian economy could reduce the need for grinding, allowing more time for unique roleplay. Civilians currently have very limited activities aside from working and driving. Socializing is rare due to the lack of open properties. When was the last time your character went to a restaurant, arcade, or gallery? These events are infrequent for two main reasons. Let's take the example of a civilian wanting to open a restaurant. To turn a profit, they need to buy a property for at least $3,000,000 to $8,000,000, spend around $600,000 on decoration, hire 6 staff (one security, two in the kitchen, and three waiters), and allocate an additional $80,000 on payments. Then $200,000 for Weazel News advertising so they can have a map blip. So far, they've spent roughly $9,000,000, if not more and their restaurant is ready to open, but they can't have unique recipes so they end up cooking meat for only $600. Now here's a solution. PASSIVE FUNDS. Have people apply to request a monthly income boost strictly for their LEGAL roleplay plan. This way we will have fewer people caring about money and more people caring about roleplaying.
  7. In my opinion, to successfully /dragout, the window of the vehicle must be lowered. Currently, you can /drag out while you're in a vehicle and you can drag out people who are driving. Apart from this, You should be able to tackle someone via SHIFT + Z and be successful if the other person is running.
  8. Should we expect any legal alternatives or it's expected for my cop character to pop steroids for higher strength and stamina, cocaine for his endurance, and LSD so he doesn't have stress?
  9. Interesting. Do you have any scene in mind where you saw SWAT with the 200 ap armor? Because from 2019, I used it three times.
  10. What distinguishes Eclipse from other servers is its refusal to endorse the "fair game" mentality, and I appreciate that. Just as ten individuals can collaborate to commit a robbery alongside you, we can have ten officers responding to your actions, even if you're acting alone. You also have to consider the time zones with six officers on duty having to enforce the law against ninety people.
  11. Discussion Hello my friends from Eclipse Roleplay, today I would like to talk about something that most of us find interesting. Character Kills We all know how important character development is, there are so many things you want to try and you have to change your name but everyone remembers you with your old name, you want to join a brand new group of a specific ethnic group so you go make a surgery and you are now a different person? What if you could character kill? Yes, FULL Character kill, the character does not exist any more, it gets deleted and you have to make a new one. This opens up a brand new concept for everyone, with proper concent from both parties, Character kill should become an option. . Share your thoughts, do you think it will be beneficial? VOTE! +1 if you like it!
  12. Have you ever thought about it from a different angle? Picture this: you were armed with a pistol, and you were up against the formidable SED, who were actively deployed. Now, think about METRO and SED as the toughest units that the Police have that a criminal might encounter. Have you ever contemplated the idea that if you were able to incapacitate these units, there might be no one left to stop you? Sure, I would understand your argument better if you questioned why the SED responded to a clothing store robbery with such heavy firepower against one guy with a .50 instead of saying, remove their armor power. Let's say that we remove the armor power from METRO and SED and lower to 150 (which they do have 150, 200 is a rare use for METRO) The server's population is heavily armed, surpassing the total of 30 units, including both SED and METRO combined. Out of the entire server community, only 30 individuals possess the training and qualifications required to operate such advanced equipment. It's not reasonable to assume that all 30 of them would be online simultaneously and available to respond to your actions at any given moment. It's like PD goes around saying, lower the kevlar power of criminals to 25.
  13. It's true that some of us got punished Icly over petty shit throughout our police career. Sure it's annoying and sure crimelords with over 100 felonies complaining about a few wrongdoings may appear silly but! Those are the ones who keep us on our toes to improve and be better. Classing them as Non-RP would have a negative impact on the community. I'll have to give my -1 on this one as for a fact, if a report is that petty, they'll end up giving you a warning for your wrongdoing.
  14. Still works until RAGE whitelists ENB & Reshade.
  15. Add an action timer to radio frequency changing. If you agree to that, I will agree to your suggestion.
