    Aztecas

Was a pleasure being with and alongside Aztecas, will never forget.
  2. I wish cops started talking more like cops instead of boys trash talking like it's some competitive game.
  3. +1 but definitely needs good prior agreement in /b as sometimes during large scenes with PD involved one officer says A and another says B.
  4. Very interesting discussion to start off with. I've been on both sides, I've played as a regular citizen and as a full time criminal as well, all on the same character may I add. Recently I joined Aztecas, this was right after the new rules got introduced to which I cheered at at first. As a civilian I was quite relieved to know some random on a BF400 with a shitty pistol couldn't rob me of my GPS anymore. Whenever I played as a civilian I was looking around while refueling making sure no one would roll up on me etc. Same with clothing stores, hiding in a corner with a drawn gun incase someone tried something on a friend shopping clothes. Or storing all my belongings in my car at bank and run down to the clothing store or barber with an empty inventory. From a civilian stand point I really do think a part of this rule should stay in place as to where clothing stores, gas stations, stores, furniture store, and just heavily populated areas like the pier for example should stay an unrealistic place for a robbery in broad daylight. However to add some realism I do think the rules should alter a bit during night times, perhaps make it so that like less populated areas, stores and gas stations should become a dangerous place for civilians at night where a robbery should be able to take place. As in reality I'm actually afraid to go out by myself or even with a few friends at late hours, however a way for civilians who do want to shop during the nights is perhaps going out with less valuable items on you, because again in reality you wouldn't walk with expensive jewelry or bags on you at 2am in a huge city like Los Angeles. Now to move on, from a criminal stand point: like I mentioned earlier I joined Aztecas, this was after the new rule change. So it was the first time for me experiencing the criminal side with the new rules in place. And I don't know how I feel about it to be honest, at all times I'm now recording everything I do, everytime an opportunity arrises I'm thinking "If I do this, will I play by the rules and/or will I get in trouble for this most likely?". I catch myself ruleplaying a lot and I'm disgusted by that, I hate ruleplaying but in some way or another you are just forced to, because you're afraid to get punishments which will result in a ban eventually, which no one wants of course. A short example from a day or two ago. A person pulls up to our gang's HQ, this person had been trash talking me personally and I believe also a few others of Aztecas. I can't recall the exact situation so I will keep it short, anyways this person should face consequences for their actions yet they are protected by OOC rules so we can't do anything to them. Literally a person could walk up to our HQ call us a retards 24/7 and we still couldn't teach them any lesson because they are standing on the pavement of a populated area. Now of course you could say move your HQ to a more secluded area, but even there people will jump to /b and say it's a broad daylight robbery because the line is just too vague. And I do agree rules should be interpreted at some point and not all black on white to avoid ruleplay but this rule needs a rework for sure. Right now there is not a lot to do for us criminals, the only interesting things happening are around chop shops and drug labs which are almost abandoned anyways. Outside those aforementioned areas it just feels like playing in an NCZ. Whereas earlier you could hope the person being chased would run out of gas is now completely changed. As you can only sit with them and look at them refuel at some remote gas station because it's considered a public area. Eclipse is still fun to play don't get me wrong, but I would prefer to play without having to worry about possibly getting a punishment.
  5. So @Yputi and I came with the idea to be able to refill used/empty water bottles in players homes as in real life every house has a tap. Let me know what you think!
  6. I guess they mean the wheeling with a bike to gain a speed boost thing, which is not allowed if you are in a chase.
  7. Isn't this already a thing? Every time when I shot someone they instantly dropped the weapon they were shooting with/holding in their hand.
  8. In this clip where PD enforces the speed limit on this cruiser it's seen that the blue barries do appear very late for some reason, that being said if this officer didn't throw safety overboard and kept his speed below a safe threshold it could've been prevented. Better arriving a little later at a call than not arriving at all. https://streamable.com/ics2l5
  9. A bit hypocrite to say people drive unrealistically fast and unsafe speeds yet in most PD/SD chases I've been in/witnessed, I've seen the cruisers follow up as well with 220km/h+ and then ending up crashing. Then getting out like nothing happened and flagging down another cruiser that was in the end of the pursuit to join the chase again and leaving their cruiser.. Also in some real life cases I've seen police ending pursuits as it becomes too dangerous to keep pursuing the suspect due to high speeds or lots of traffic yet PD/SD loves to keep their parade of 20 cruisers going with 200km/h+. I doubt a piece of wood would destroy a car that bad as you say it would. I agree with @DimaDan here.
  10. Hi, I'm always wearing hoops and they never disappeared for me. If you have a radio turned on it does make them disappear until you turn the radio off and do /resync.
  11. A very nice and detailed thread, enjoyed reading it
  12. I really think NLA is one of the best factions Eclipse has, it's very unique in it's own way. I've seen many screenshots of your guys' RP from my friend Alicia and I always enjoy reading the posts here. Keep up the good work!
  13. Don't judge a book by it's cover. It was a busy day for WCA, after grouping up with Vory we found out that the Mexican tenants had their rent due at the Motel for quite some time already, so it was time to evict them after several notices. Though some resistance occured from the tenants, so after using some force we succesfully evicted them all. After evicting the Mexican tenants from the Motel we still had their cars scattered around the premises, and as everybody knows from our top class customer service we returned them safely to nearest carpool place. We care and value our tenants property as much as they do themselves, so naturally we stayed in the cars making sure no one would steal them. While patiently waiting for the now ex tenants of the Motel, the Mexicans best friends showed up making sure everything is okay. While my friend here in the grey Elegy tried to leave the carpool place I accidentally hindered the cruiser with my Novak, to which the Sheriff's Deputy responded: "Okay Novak let's go, you're the weakest link." I chuckled a bit and let the Deputy pull me over. Not much later the Deputy informed me that we were waiting for backup to get me arrested. I wasn't really in the mood for SD's shenanigans so I decided to move on with my own business. As we didn't do anything wrong, we were just waiting for the ex tenants to come pick their cars up after all. Too bad SD had a different opinion about this, they decided to chase me, which of course is their choice to do so and I will definitely not hold them back, but I won't call it a smart decision as SD is lacking some serious skills in pursuits. Shortly after leaving the carpool place another cruiser joined the parade but sadly had to leave shortly after due to flying out the corner, which is very sad. Now with only two cruisers left we decided to continue the parade. I never really tried off roading in my new SUV so I gave it a try, while looking in my rearview mirror I saw the first cruiser spinning out with the second cruiser nowhere to be seen. Sad. After going through a small tunnel and some more off roading I bummed on a rock and got my engine stalled, shortly after, the second SD cruiser goes past me. For a second I thought it's over, but luckily I did not get seen by SD's amazing vision. It's okay small cars easily get overlooked.
