  1. 害怕的秃头男人 It started out as a normal day. Pete visited the shrine with fellow devotees, Kris Boyd and Diamh Johnson Pete looked deeply into the fire, attempting to see what his future had in store for him. The fire promised curly locks for Pete. As a man without hair for 10+ years and a sense of humour, Pete chuckled at the prospect, it was a clear troll by the gods. Nonetheless, by merely being present at the shrine, Pete knew his day would have something interesting in store for him! Later that day, Pete found himself being chased by members of Aztecas. Unsure if they wanted to exchange Pokémon cards or chop Pete's fingers off one-by-one, Pete decided to flee from the angry Mexicans! Pete managed to get away but immediately rounded up his fellow Triads and allies. These daily chases were costing Pete a lot in fuel so he had to put an end to the tomfoolery. After much deliberating, they decided 'Mount Chiliad' would be a good location to setup their offensive. Bruce Wong (who wears a thong) coincidentally was being tailed by multiple members of opposing factions so he led them right into the ambush. As the rival gangs started pouring into Mount Chiliad, Pete reached for his rifle. Except one thing was wrong, the rifle wasn't there. He left it in his bike, elsewhere within the compound. Pete dashed for the nearest bush and took cover. Several minutes passed, which felt like hours for Pete. The compound was raided by tens of SD and PD. Pete was up shit creek without a paddle. He would have to improvise! After the shots stopped and with the overwhelming noise of sirens, Pete would exclaim "is it safe to come out". Lewis Langley would shout back "Yes". Pete would run to Lewis under the false pretence he was at the wrong place at the wrong time, a victim! To maintain the cover, Pete posted a public commendation to his Life Invader profile, praising the work of Commissioner Langley. At least for now, Pete was a free man. Had they only searched him, the outcome would have been very different. Pete and a bush: 1 Everyone else: 0
  2. To add on to the points provided by the illustrious @CallumMontie When one has acquired a machete they may participate in exciting machete RP such as the following scenario: /me swings at the bamboo /do the bamboo would chop in half and fall to the ground
  3. +1. Pete is spinning in his grave learning about these changes.
  4. +1, I turned them off as they provided almost no value. https://forum.eclipse-rp.net/settings/signature/
  5. 大逃亡 Tensions between Triads and law enforcement was getting out of hand Attempts to outwit each other from both sides was failing Pete had grown accustomed to the ways of law enforcement. He chose a BF400 as his primary method of transport for it's very fast speed and ability to tackle even the harshest terrain for a quick getaway. However, there was one thing Pete didn't anticipate. A barrier made out of the strongest material known to man! After a lengthy pursuit through Los Santos County, Pete met one of these barriers while travelling at speed. It should be no surprise, Pete was quickly in the back of a cruiser. As a high ranking member of the Triads and with several other gangs loitering around the area, a convoy was setup to ensure Pete's safe transport to Central MD. Little was known of what would happen once Pete was delivered to MD. All involved were minutes away from witnessing quite possibly the greatest escape from law enforcement custody in the history of Los Santos. The odds were heavily stacked against him but, Pete being an opportunist saw a flaw in the law enforcement's plan and exploited it! For your viewing pleasure, I present "The Great Escape":
  6. +1. Very good idea. Just like almost any online service, it would be neat to display new rules and even general announcements in an area like the one in your example. Require the user to acknowledge the announcements and then hide until new announcements are made.
  7. -1. It's funny making people bald, like me.
  8. This looks promising. Good luck and hopefully see you guys in town soon!
  9. Date: 17/09/2019 Character name: Pete Wright Issue/bug you are reporting: Stripping ammo also removes attachments Expected behavior: Stripping ammo should not also remove your weapons attachments Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: I reproduce this in the following video: 1. Add an attachment to a weapon that has ammo 2. Strip the ammo from the weapon 3. Attachment is gone!
  10. Date: 17/09/2019 Character name: Pete Wright Issue/bug you are reporting: It's possible to fish in interiors Expected behavior: It should not be possible to fish in interiors Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate:
  11. +1. However, it should be carefully implemented to avoid issues the previous system had. Imports definitely felt more genuine with the old system and would have always involved more players. With the current implementation of shipments, it's not uncommon to see single gang members collecting ammo/weapons. What should be another opportunity for RP seems to have transformed into a "grind" mechanic. Someone made a good point about turfs not necessarily being randomly generated. It would be awesome for gangs to select an area that makes sense for their gang RP'ly. This is probably something that could only be available for official gangs as you'd not want to waste time with gangs that will die after a week. Although very cool, there's only 3 official gangs right now so maybe not the best solution!
  12. +1. Definitely needs to be reconsidered. There was a similar topic on this, a lot of the points there are valid: I'll share the example I shared from that thread, https://streamable.com/ovj15 The guy has multiple guns (including a shotgun) aimed at him in close range and is able to just reverse out of there like the windows are bulletproof, nonsense.
  13. +1. Simple yet brilliant! Devs should review other actions that shouldn't be possible when hands are up such as drawing a weapon.
  14. +1. I think the phone number should be acquired through RP. This doesn't necessarily mean directly from the player but maybe a detective would have to file a warrant RP'ly to obtain the number from the carrier (just like they would IRL). A reason would be given and it would be up to a higher-up member of PD to grant or deny the request. This would make detective RP better as they would now need to find out the number. They could start with things such as the IC section on the forums (adverts etc) and even try and coax other players into giving up a number. The latter having very cool possibilities. This way, changing number by deleting your phone would have much more benefit. You'd temporarily be able to avoid traces. All this ignores the possibility of burner phones which would equally be as cool for criminals.
  15. -1. Searching injured player inventories without player-provided RP was considered a rule break in the past. It was known as "ninjalooting". However, it was agreed that injured players wouldn't be in a position to resist another player searching them. There's also multiple AME's generated throughout the process (initial "i", when the player's inventory is opened and then for each item taken). ^ Basically this!
  16. +1, let's remove it! It's rare but it does happen, at least it did when I was active on my PD character. Numerous times I heard PD members say something like "license ID 123" over the radio. It's worth mentioning though, each time I heard this it would be after their full name was already spoken. So it wasn't really MG, more an attempt to improve quality of life with some mixing!
  17. Date and time (provide timezone): 29/08/2019 21:37 BST Character name: Pete Wright Issue/bug you are reporting: There's a teleportation bug that occurs when certain conditions are met while being transported to a hospital. Expected behavior: No teleportation should occur. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Watch the video first: I've not confirmed these reproduction steps but it's the most plausible explanation for what happened: 1. While in the injured state, be loaded into an ambulance by medic A 2. Have medic B take you into another vehicle 3. Have medic A drive through a hospital drop-off Some context, during the RP scenario prior to the video I was first loaded into an ambulance by the driver. Then the helicopter pilot took me out of the ambulance and loaded me into the helicopter. When I spawn in the video, you'll see ID 77 also spawns. ID 77 was at the same scene injured so this supports my theory as he would have been transported by the ambulance.
  18. +1, really surprised to learn that this isn't already possible!
  19. +1, needed! Tired of DOC taking my burgers and seeing them on the catwalk eating them!
  20. +1, I have a friend called Li who keeps destroying them by accident. This would make Li very happy!
  21. +1, the rule is currently ambiguous. In addition to making the mentioned clause more widely understandable, I think some of the clauses could be changed entirely. If I'm pointing a gun at someone who is in a car with the engine on but not moving, I don't think they should be protected under FRP. Look how silly it looks, no sense of realism here: At the very least, players should be able to open fire on the vehicle if it attempts an escape. They definitely shouldn't be punished for DM.
  22. +1, would makes things much more intuitive!
