  1. It's not RP... or it's poor RP. Getting robbed for no reason is frustrating. They won't fear prison time, criminal records and heavy charges on their character, for what? A few K's?
  2. @SkylineGT I'm on your side. My point to making friends was that back then you weren't scared to encounter someone else and start a conversation or at least be somewhere close to him for a while and have a peaceful time. Nowadays... when I'm not in my govt uniform and on duty, at the moment I see someone approaching me, I know for sure that I'm just about to get robbed and/or killed for no apparent reason besides for them to make a few Ks, risking jail time, criminal records and permit loss. How is that even considered rp?
  3. Rp is as much as want to make out of it. Why would there need something else to be scripted for you to be part of it but robbing ( non scripted ) appears to be the only thing you can do besides a govt job? You have to be more creative than that.
  4. I've been in this server for over a year and now, everytime I play I get robbed for no reason. ''Stop car or you die'' situations or ''Stop running or you die'' This influx of new players brought people with no sense of RP even if the quiz is so hard that some experienced roleplayers can't even get through.
  5. It came down to the point where everytime I see someone else I'm scared as hell to be robbed... I miss the old days where you could actually socialize with people and make friends.
  6. +1 The health of each turfs should go down over time. This would force actual gang members to actually spend time on their turfs, encouraging RP towards other gangs.
  7. Every application have to be manually accepted.
  8. Date and time (provide timezone): 16/05/2018 (EDT) Character name: Jean Pelletier Issue/bug you are reporting: No inventory in my house Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: FIXED
  9. I can't even describe how having people camping the chop shop feels to me. It's sad, lazy and a poor rp experience for everyone else trying to actually play a criminal.
  10. We don't need people "buying in-game currency" to have a house or a business.
  11. @TGBDalton You are one the guys that really cares about his vehicles and you are clearly not using for criminal stuff or anything of the sort. IMO, you are one of those rare players that do deserve a supercar. You are paying for those making an alt, dropping their 600k cars in there and start causing trouble and run away from the police. Or those buying a supercar for this exact same reason. ''If there's no supercars, what's the point of grinding money?'' Maybe not grinding it and actually RP with others, organise events and such. Again, I see some people complain about not having enough cash, but on the other hand, everyone wants a supercar and does eventually get one after hours and hours of grinding. We could have a maintenance cost applied on cars based off the distance they have been driven which could be a random amount between x and x based off the import price of said car. The more distance driven, the more chance the maintenace cost would happen. This could create a realistic used car market and up to a point, driving a car would cost too much money and it would need to be scraped removing cars from the game. I know this sounds painful to you and it sounds painful to me as well but that would be a realistic approach towards what the real costs of owning a supercar is. (I know this requires heavy coding but it is a potential solution).
  12. We need things to do as criminal that would generate a revenue. Also balance the basic jobs so that not everyone does the exact same because it pays more. RP can be improve but yeah, for it to be, we need to have a way that would encourage us to interact between eachother. The RP level one will provide is a also driven by the level provided by the others. When I'm on my main I always see other mechanics fixing cars and such right on the spot, without any tools or at least making a trip to the shop to show they had to get something to do the work. The other person won't complain too much because it saves them time and time is money. Everyone wants the best cars and such and I won't hide that I've also been catched into this but this doesn't help the rp at all, being rammed by a guy in a 300k car is kinda upsetting. It went to a point where criminals only wants supercars to get an advantage over the others and this creates a vicious circle where everyone wants one and have to grind money for it. The lack of revenue on a criminal perspective has litteraly forced people to farm money on a govt job just to fund their alts, but hey, who would want to grind hours to actually be able to buy a gun, repair their cars, buy food, clothes and a house before getting into the criminal side of rp which is... what? robbing and shooting people, going against a gang that as already 10 times more ressources than you do? You rapidly get shut down and get down to shooting people for petty reasons and stealing cars just for the heck of it.
  13. Date and time (provide timezone): 13 April, time unknown. Character name: Dominick Robson Issue/bug you are reporting: Intruder doesn't have visual mods after RAGEMP client swap. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: I had some installed on my car prior the switch, they are still in place. Up to today, I don't know if the bug is still a thing. Might need to be rechecked.
  14. "The installation package will modify your vehicles.meta to allow multiple liveries for all vehicles as well as changing the handling line for the police and police3 slots."
  15. That would only cause the prices of the cars to go up tremendously. @Magnolia @King Zaki Tell me how deleting a maxed car for less than stock to an NPC would bring in more money in the server, considering that the player or the original owner spent over 120k to max it out. What doesn't delete money into the server is having too many cars, having a supply too high for the demand hence people selling their maxed vehicles for a ridiculous price to another player which will not have to : Buy from the dealership, pay for the mods.
  16. I don't like how a thread about car prices being too low turns to a thread about deppreciating the cars even more. Selling it to an npc would not bring money into the game since it would delete a 720k car for under 600k. That's a car someone else will have to buy new from a dealership and apply the mods on. The reason the car prices are too low is not because of the lack of maintenance costs. It's because there's too much of them.
  17. Oh.. myeah havent thaught about that...
  18. And maintenance costs should be a thing.
  19. Or make it so that people could export cars and sell at ×% depending on mods to an NPC or something? This would regulate the lowest selling price of the car. This would remove cars from the game.
