I was unsure where to put this as in civilian or criminal. In my years of playing on the server, a trend which I think should be either punished by their respective Factions or Administrative team for OOC Corruption is that of Law Enforcement refusing to investigate anything. In almost all of scenarios where I have phoned PD or SD regarding an altercation of sorts the most immediate thing they do is say “have you got bodycamera footage” The answer is no, because criminals don’t run around wearing body cameras! There is nothing wrong with asking for evidence that makes sense but after is where the issue is. In any real world situations law enforcement would ask for statements and detain those involved potentially even interrogate suspects. This has never happened with any situation I have been in because what Law Enforcement always say is “sorry if you haven’t got footage we won’t do anything”. Being honest it’s, and excuse my language, a piss take. Isn’t the point of PD and SD job to have an investigation, not just say “oh because there’s no bodycamera footage we aren’t gonna do anything”. Law Enforcement do it because it makes their life easier where they can just disregard the situation. I think there needs to be in PD and SD rules whereby the have a legal obligation unless minor to investigate claims and accusations. This doesn’t mean asking for bodycamera footage then leaving because there isn’t any but actually doing what Law Enforcement is meant to do, which is investigate, if there was a fight look for brusies in /me, do roleplay. There is no roleplay in watching bodycam footage yet PD and SD are in the mentality of doing this. I think moving forward I’m gonna start writing IA reports for Officers/Sherifs who decide they can’t be fucked to do their job because it isn’t easily presented because i recorded my gameplay and claimed I had a bodycamera on and instead because I don’t record decide to leave instead of roleplaying. If the issue persists and these IA reports are ignored then I will start making forum reports and directly bringing it to the attention of faction handlers. It shouldn’t be acceptable for PD and SD to not do anything because I decided I wanted to roleplay instead of recording my game.

I think a lot of people are confused, i don’t think the original post is talking about PD but just random people. IT IS UNREALISTIC FOR RANDOM CIVILIANS TO BE RUNNING AROUND WITH BODY CAMERAS. I think this is what the original post means. Let’s be honest, no one apart from law enforcement wears body cameras. So that means DCC, Mechanics, even EMS shouldn’t have body cameras on. Then PD could actually do interviews to try determine an outcome. Fuck it imma make a new suggestion on this point, everyone who’s read this go and read that aswell

I respect the making of any suggestion, but I am very much against this. Unsure it’s a joke or whatever but not only would it use up developers times where they could be making innovative updates to the server, but also 95% of all criminals would never use them as they might aswell go and buy a real pistol even if it’s a SNS! -1

As someone who's been both imma have to be against raising salaries completely. Reason 1 Risk: When it comes to being a criminal there is so much risk involved in the matter. No legal role-player/someone who isn't involved has no grasp or understanding of the risk involved. If we want to cook drugs, we need to go to a lab, buy ingredients, then actually cook the drugs. If we die we immediately lose 10s of thousands of ingredients, let alone including time spent to cook. This isn't even including the fact our vehicles will be chopped costing another 10-20k and also the loss of items, as much typically a pistol which is around 7-10k each. If you add it up we are losing 30-50k per time we go a lab if we die. Where by in comparison, you work for a few hours, if your in DCC or a mechanic you can mess around for a few hours not including commission pay and have absolute 0 risk of ever losing any money. This potential loss doesn't include the fact of if you get arrested, I personally have been slapped of fines excess of 100k. Just like that hours of money disintegrated because I got arrested. Whereby If you're in a faction then your not going to be arrested as your legal. Criminals make more, because they have more to lose. LEO and Factions have no risk, hence they have low reward. Reason 2 Economy: If you up the price of everyone's salaries, everyone doesn't become richer in fact much the opposite everyone becomes poorer. As everyone has more money to spend, they can afford more things such as better vehicles and so forth. This will either cause the prices of vehicles and other goods to spike (inflation) or it will just cause everyone to all have super cars. It will just crash the economy. I would say more but I don't have much time and would rather just get it out there instead of putting this on hold for whoever knows how long. All I'm gonna ask you is, why do you see essentially every faction/LEO role-player, of who's been roleplaying for a long period of time with millions in the bank even as a low POII, yet you see more and more Criminals by the day having excessive amounts of debts they cant pay off ?
