  1. There is a big difference between telling someone to kill themselves ironically and unironically, for example if you're with a group of friends you should be able to tell them that in a joking manner like "haha bro kys" but if you're roleplaying with a party you may not know and you are telling them to unalive themselves in a serious manner for example: While you're getting arrested by cops or robbed by a rival gang, while yes it might be IC in my opinion it's clearly a OOC insult, the same goes with calling people the r, f and other slurs and also asking them "do you ever leave the city" or "do you even have a life outside of the city". Overall though Bala has a good point and as he is one of the most based people on Eclipse with all his suggestions being positive, and I believe there should be a rule against genuinely making fun of people in a serious manner that may affect them OOCly, at the end of the day its a game and everyone is here for different reasons, some people might just play to enjoy their free time and other people may play to avoid IRL problems, not add to them. But there should always be room for people that are friends to have some fun banter and laughs.
  2. pizza delivery job ???? also this:
  3. I have some ideas that could possibly help the server with prison times/charges: In my opinion the charge system should be reworked so that every charge has a minimum and maximum time/fine that LEOs can select on their own discretion, to reward people who provide good RP without risking breaking OOC corruption by placing less charges, this would allow people to RPly get charged correctly but not get punished as much for their crimes, this could also work with a percentage system instead of selecting the time you want to give them. Another way to improve criminal roleplay is to reduce the max prison sentences again, if you can pay your fines the maximum sentence should be 3 hours, and if you can't it should be 5 hours. License suspensions should also be reduced to 12 hours in my opinion as it basically stops you from doing anything for a day without risking going to jail, and for criminals if you have a gun on you back to DOC for like 85 minutes which resets the 24 hour license suspension and basically means your day is over.
  4. You can remap your controller buttons to keys with a program if you just google how.
  5. only problem i see is you dont mention mike reggal in this bitch
  6. Instead of making a unnecessary script change people could start educating other's on how to properly refer to OOC scripts in a better RP standard, for example by referring to their vehicle being damaged with realistic sentences like "my cars smoking", "my engines making weird noises" "my cars fucked" instead of "my cars on 320 oil" or what OP originally said. This change could also have a lot of unintended side effects like Harvey has mentioned, unknowingly perma stalling your car, yeah it might be a little unrealistic at the end of the day this is just a game and wasting your time sitting around for mechanics is no fun. I agree with you on that people would be more careful driving their cars, however relying on MAYBE's instead of definitive facts isn't a good way to go, mechanic RP has always been lacking on ECRP and it's not something that can really be solved without scriptly changing how repairing vehicles work, Mechanic RP is mostly people hanging out with their friends and copy pasting RP from a sheet, it's not interesting at all and doesn't even make you good money if you're actively looking to play on the server instead of being tabbed out which is basically every government job apart from PD, SD and DOC. Some of the changes I think would help the mechanic issue on ECRP would be to make the mechanic get 50% of the labor cost of the vehicle they are servicing, would benefit them more and would make people RP a more realistic mechanic by trying to upsell people modifications so they can make more money, would boost the amount of people wanting to actually work as mechanics and boost RP quality in general. Or you could make it so you can buy self repair kits from LSC or Bayview to restore like 200-300 HP for 2.5k or however the developers feel like it should be. Overall OPs concerns of ruining immersion/mixing terminology is something the community can change themselves, however the mechanic issue really needs developer attention. It's just a game and everyone's here to have fun, not waste time on waiting for something that should realistically take a max of 5 minutes.
  7. +1 Great idea that would spread the community apart the whole map and provide cheaper housing for new players/players, this shouldn't be made only for Little Seoul but across the entire map. Would provide a lot more realistic RP in areas that would be normally inhabitated by people but aren't due to the lack of houses/garages.
  8. best of luck! looking forward to roleplaying with this faction

Even though I wasn't in this faction for a long time it was one of the most fun times and RP ive had on the server, I wish everyone that was involved the best of luck in the future. Much love
  10. This is by far one of the most detailed faction threads ive ever seen, good work!
  11. Can you change it to "okamiii" instead then?
  12. I would like for my forum name to be changed to "okami" if possible, thanks in advance!
  13. 100% +1 for this, there should be free walking styles so people can ehance their roleplay without having to pay real money for it.
