  2. Alistair Cain: Corporal Goblin A lot of time has passed since Alistair was approached by the Goblins and offered a spot with them. Much has changed, so much that his old life seems almost nonexistent. Throughout his time with the gang, it has become all that he knows. Goblins are his family, and he respects those around him as such. At this point, Alistair had spent a considerable amount of time with the gang, and had become comfortable with criminal life, even sharing knowledge with some of the newer members and providing insight in certain gang matters.

  3. First of all, it is a serious violation of the ECLIPSE ROLEPLAY server rules to play in our server with any type of unfair mods or cheating software installed. To clarify, this is purely applied to any player who joins the server with the retained ability to activate their mod/trainer/cheat menu on demand, if the need (or desire) to do that ever comes up. If we detect any active unauthorized software on your computer, we will exercise our right to ban your account regardless of whether you had the opportunity to take advantage of the then active cheating software. This rule is needed because i

So recently there has been alot of key community members, fisherman, doc guards, cops ,shooters and basically civil roleplayers out of no where is getting caught in a ban wave and a lot of these people were either banned just because their pc had a hack for another game or they didnt hack at all and prolly ban for clearly installing some mod. And when the community questions the staff what proof the admins got they would just reply with the : "the anti cheat system detected " line. We all know that eclipse roleplay has a better anti cheat system than microsoft , valve or Rockstar games . So ba

Tommy spent most of his time working in order to buy his two favorite cars, the Karin Futo and the Annis Elegy retro custom. Tommy's first taste of the car scene in the city was when a customer and old associate of his told him about an ongoing car show in Chumash, so Tommy decided to take one of his cars there and see what it was all about. A short while after the car show, a big majority of the people there went up to the observatory and began racing. After Tommy’s

The first point i would like to make is that i really enjoyed your RP, and i wanted to say thank-you for letting me be a part of it. Eclipse can get tedious at times in general and i genuinely enjoy roleplay with an alternative narrative, something in which you dont experience every day. It is clear your intentions had been planned and i can appreciate and understand it takes time to do so. I have never been involved in a hostage situation so i genuinely and sincerely enjoyed myself and i was disappoin

Catching Up With The Irish Doing what we always do, checking labs, chop shops, and other various locations, Bo Vespucci and the Goblins he was rolling with, gets a call over the radio that Irish are interested in having a meeting with the Goblins in 30 minutes time. It had been awhile since we had met together. Status has been known as neutral ever since the last meeting. So, Bo and the other Goblins, asked where they would gather together. CC (John Sierra) was the one organizing the meeting, and called ALL Goblins in town to the headquarters so we could roll into the meeting together. Ab

So let me give you a dose of clarity The difference between innocent and not guilty: "taken by a criminal defense attorneys website" No one needs to prove that you are innocent in order to avoid conviction for the crime. Our criminal justice system does not require proof that you are innocent but rather, that the jury have no reasonable doubts about whether or not you committed the crime. Then, you notice that they had an unpaid ticket overdue so, a failure to pay fine. You tell them to exit the vehicle to arrest them but, they end up felony evading leaving the scene, and you are now chasing them. Let's say this chase has been going on for 20-25 minutes, and you say this chase is taking way too long, and you get the idea of taking out a Micro SMG and giving vehicle demands to the person, "Stop the vehicle or FORCE will be used." The reason for this dem

Everyone in this server comes to have some great RP and at the same time they want to grind to own a nice car, house or a business. People had money to go play poker, buy guns and overall have some good RP sessions. We saw the reporting party attempting to assist his ally and running over an officer in the process. My unit chases after the reporting party when we see that they decided to make a u-turn. I tried to block one of the lanes in order to force the reporting party to either swerve, possibly crashing into a barrier, or slowing down. The reporting party decided to slow down but it was not enough to avoid the crash. In the reporting part

  25. Realistically no one wants to get chased by cops, that's never our goal. That point is kinda redundant. If you think that doing our jobs as criminal roleplayers is "provoking cops" then idk what to say. Just bcoe one set of barricades were removed, doesnt mean that the others can't also be removed. Realistically, the 811 wouldve gone right through those blue barricades, and dedication to realism would have therefore invalidated their use in that situation.

Literally the dictionary of fear RP when you refused to leave at gun point when told to do so. Secondly the SWAT rushing in without knowing the situation, how many hostages etc is completely not IC. It's actually OOC, to quote it's poor RP/Non RP to go ahead in a situation where you don't know how many possible hostiles there is. I've been noticing recently that the RP standards of these factions (PD / SD) are not up to par with what we've been told how the roleplay is supposed to be on ECRP in terms of the risk / reward of their actions. Somewhat recently, new rules were introduced to ECRP regarding unrealistic actions by criminals. The rule is here: Robberies should be conducted in a realistic manner with reasonable in-character motive using secluded areas. Players should not conduct minor robberies in situations with high risk. Desert or forest areas are considered secluded but witnesses should still be

The point of this thread is to make that tailor made rule community wide instead of only enforced upon by the staff team when a criminal breaks the risk/reward rule. Your statement that the rules are tailored and held equally to all players unbiased of alignment or activity is categorically false. If what you said was true I wouldn't have a thread claiming to the contrary with 60-70+ people agreeing to the post. My suggestion is pretty clear. It's to

I could slightly understand if it was just criminals who where receiving these bans as they are the ones who are mainly involved in daily shootouts and cheating would somewhat help them gain an advantage but the fact I've now seen some people who are just here for the roleplay, PD players, DOC guards and fishermen! it doesn't really add up. I wasn't part of the staff team when the rule change was introduced but in my opinion, it was introduced as a last resort because criminals were unable to control themselves when and where they were robbed. You'd have miners, farmers, people at the butchers, people in clothing stores getting robbed and it gets stupid for those not in big groups where they are being forced out of the server. Simple fact is, if we keep it IC, as a cop I'm telling you there is only so many cases we can investigate at one time.
